SCRIPT HERE-Aproximately 1200 words Part 2
The idea for this script came from when I was reading about mythology and I found out that Artemis, along with being Goddess of the hunt, was also known as a protector of young girls before marrying age in ancient Greece. I also read the story of Atalanta, a story in which an abandoned baby girl was adopted by a bear (which in some versions of the story was Artemis in disguise) and raised until adulthood. I liked this idea of a goddess adopting a human child so I wrote this! This script is also my very first script where the listener is a specific gender. I like to make my scripts as inclusive as possible for all potential VAs and listeners, but obviously I had to make an exception as Artemis isn't exactly known for enjoying the company of men and boys. But with that tangent out of the way I hope you enjoy!
