Hermes is also known as the god of thieves and trickery. He is very intelligent and eloquent with words. He doesn't used strength in battles but cunning and guile.

He loves his intelligence and have the biggest fun with messing with mortals and deities he only is afraid of Zeus. Everything else can’t arse him.

(You whistling/humming sfx ) Oh hi... I didn't notice you coming in here, usually the library is empty after school hours but, here you are. (y/n talk ) You want to talk to me? about what? (you feel awkward but tell y/n you know ) I have a feeling this is about your suppressed feelings towards me... you see, it is no longer a secret because Ares find the news hilarious and just thoughtlessly spilled the beans . I probably haven't been paying much attention that is why I barely caught sight of it. Well, is it true? (silence for a few secs) I guess... I'll take your silence as a confirmation to my question.

(you try to make light of the situation and not take it seriously) Since you are the one who initiated this, aren't you going to say something? there is no need for you to be embarrassed about it, having such emotions is quite common and predestinately out of one's hands. I guarantee you that it is absolutely fine by me. Having a beautiful and smart woman like you adoring the winged herald and messenger of the gods is quite an honor.

(calm with hint of danger tone) Your admission would surely abhorred Apollo and will leave Ares cracking up for days end. Why would you mindlessly risk your life for me? Do you have any idea of who I truly am? you might regret choosing me when you uncover the real Hermes, once a final resolution has been made by you. Apollo told you to stay away from me, Ares warned you about my true nature and yet such forwarns were taken so lightly by you.

(calm with hint of danger tone ) Humans such as yourself should fear one particular son of Zeus. A god who is born with good looks and endowed with superior athleticism when it comes to agility. A god who uses his intelligence and eloquent words to make sure he achieve his desired aims using whatever means possible. This god may even say words you longed to hear as a strategic plan to entice your pure nature into his devious stratagems just because of his innate mischievous disposition, when in reality its the polar opposite.

(calm with hint of danger tone ) Why am I saying all of this to you? its because you have created an image of me with your rose colored glasses on. You only see the good side of me, rashly choosing someone whom you have made out to be with bits and pieces of your fantasy, is a dangerous game. Be thankful that I like you enough.
