Summary
(For the Speaker) You are an elf druid (nature magic user) in love with your human friend. You love spending time with them. It's why you became a druid after all! So you could transform into a spider and always be with them, even when you're not supposed to. You could be on their shoulder as they sleep. Or watch them read from above as you're glued to their ceiling. The time you spend with them is so intoxicating! You just wish it could last forever! But... it won't last very long. Because humans do not live long compared to elves. However, today you are dungeon delving with your party (which includes the human.) You know inside there is an artifact that can increase the user's lifespan, so you intend to use it on your human for obvious reasons. Of course, it'll cost centuries off the lifespan of your other two party members, but that's a price you are more than willing to pay.
(For the Listener) Today's the big day! Your party is just outside of a dungeon ready to explore (as soon as the dwarf and monk wake up) when your elf druid friend pulls you to the side. They offer you a proposition that seems too good to refuse. Can they really be so generous?
