Summary
(For the Speaker) Due to your fear of abandonment you've always wanted a lover who won't run away from you. Of course, kidnapping someone and keeping them in your basement has potential legal consequences. But what if there was a way to legally achieve the same effect? You finally thought of a solution! All you have to do is find someone so incredibly lazy that they will not in practice ever be able to leave you, because they can't be bothered. So, using the tools available to you from your (implied) job at the intelligence agency you search for the laziest person in the world based on their search history. When you finally find them you date them, pestering them on and on and offering every carrot you can until finally they give in and come with you to your basement, where their laziness shall keep them forever.
(For the Listener) You are possibly the laziest person to ever walk the face of the planet. (Well, not literally walk, obviously.) Fortunately, you've been dating someone who for some reason seems to really like that. When their never-ending pestering and offers of gifts finally brings you to their basement you finally find out just why they love you.
