Post Body

I'm looking to write more, and I find writing ASMR scripts to be soothing.

I am a British woman, and I think this comes across in my writing. My style is quite old-fashioned. I write sleep stories, as well as traditional guided relaxation/visualisation and role play.

I'm looking to write some bespoke scripts. I would be more than happy to edit scripts to your liking, and would not object to you changing parts to suit your style more. Nor would I object to you monetising any script written for you. I am more than happy to write for any scenario you have in mind, from a regency marriage discussion, to a space colony mission briefing, to true crime. However, I would most likely be terribly at writing anything romantic/relationship-esque, as I am a soulless, loveless loser (slight exaggeration).

Sample 1 - taken from The Little People (sleep story).

Are you still awake? Yes, of course you are. A strange question to ask. But it's late, and it's time to sleep. Not for your sake, necessarily, but for the sake of the Little People. The Little People live in houses, and if you didn't know, you've got several housholds living in yours. They're people, like you and me, just much, much smaller. I've never seen one any taller than a woman's index finger.

They live where they can find space. My childhood home had a family living behind the crockery sideboard in the dining room. My first home as an adult had a couple and a baby living under a warped floorboard in the pantry. And you've got them, too. I've seen them, and I've noticed the things you're missing.

They only take small things. Nothing that you would miss, really. A thimbleful of sugar. A spoonful of coffee. A sock that mysteriously never returned to its drawer. Nothing to you, but essential to them. And they only come out when you're gone, or when you're asleep.

Sample 2 - taken from Storm Visualisation

It's cold out tonight. Can you hear the rain? Or the wind? The whistling of wind through a house is called "wuthering" in some dialects. It's certainly wuthering tonight. But you're in bed, soft and comfortable. You have a thick, warm blanket to wrap yourself up, and nowhere to be. Let the storm do its worst. It can't touch you here. Nobody can.

Take a slow, deep breath in. Feel your chest rising, and your heart slow, ever so slightly. Let your eyes close, if they need to. This is your time. You can do whatever you like to help you relax and rest. Your body feels so, so heavy, sinking into your bed. The tension of the day is slowly releasing as you realise that this truly is your time. You don't have to sleep. You can just rest, and listen. And when you are too tired to listen, you don't have to do that, either.

Drop me a message if you like.
