Summary: (feel free to change speaker's pronouns, as always)

It seems like this time you fell right into enemy hands. They took you and the rest of your company, a group who pride themselves in helping people and preventing corruption. Even if it's low paying, you enjoy doing what you do - you like protecting, you like defending. It's just a part of who you are. But your enemy group's leader, someone with compelling hypnotic powers, likes that about you, too. And they want you all to themselves.

or

The Speaker and Listener are reincarnations of past figures: a god-like hypnotic presence and a 'disbeliever-turned-follower' human knight. They don't know that about each other, but the Speaker knows that there is something extremely compelling about the Listener. And when a God wants something, they *will* have it.

Length: ~10k words

Full Script

Here is a suggested split (entirely nonbinding, feel free to change it at will):

Part 1 (2.4k words) | Part 2 (2.6k words) | Part 3 (2.4k words) | Part 4 (2.7k words)

If you'd like to have a look at some more specific tags that couldn't fit in the title, have a look at the parts separately.

Coming out of my shell of sporadic posting and general inactivity to blame this little project for taking up my time lately! It was very fun to write and a nice break from everything I normally have to focus on when writing ASMR scripts, so take it for what it is: a bit of self indulgent insanity, which I think we all need some of at times.

I know the 'ending' is very much a non-ending, but I'd rather stop here than drive myself into a corner with another 10k words and become inactive for an extra month. A special thanks to my friends who have kept me sane while I was writing this and thanks to you if you reached the end of it. <3

I do feel like the title is slightly misleading; the story has less focus on the reincarnation aspect than I should've put into it, even if it had always really meant to be a detail that would only circle back at the end.

Turns out, dramatic reveals are really hard – and I'm simply not skilled enough to do them in a script format ((or in any format, but I'm a bit copium on the fact that I'd be better at it in a story format)). One day I'll bite the bullet and write a script with multiple speakers that's really not an ASMR script but more of a literal novel in a playwriting trench coat. Maybe for the 30th script? Who knows.

((Technically this is my 21st script, but I took down an earlier one I wasn't extremely happy with. I am going to act like this script is the 20th, so we can keep up the tradition of 'doing something special every 10 scripts'.))

Tweaking of the script is fine. Ad-libs, improv... you name it! Please note SFX is also entirely optional, so feel free to add and take away at your own leisure.

Monetisation is perfectly okay! If you paywall however, please DM me with a link for free access. Please credit me with my username - makes it much easier for me to find your lovely work. I'd love to listen to your work, so drop a link for any fill below!
