Description: Your manager isn't going to let you take any more gigs until you've taken a proper break.

[START]

Sound of her entering the room.

Manager: "I know what you're doing and it's not going to work."

Manager: "You're not gonna jump headfirst into another project."

Manager: "The tour just ended and you came home only 48 hours ago."

Manager: "I'm gonna take this back to my office."

Manager: "Because you don't need these gigs right now."

Manager: "No no no, not this one, not that one."

Manager: "You can do all of these another time."

Manager: "How did you even get these? I thought I told everyone not to message you."

Manager: "So you could rest, what else?"

Manager: "No you're not going on another tour."

Manager: "Because you're tired, you're starting to have bags under your eyes."

Manager: "I don't want you to fall asleep next to your phone every night."

Manager: "Take a break, enjoy yourself."

Manager: "Get some proper sleep, and don't look at your e-mails."

Manager: "I know and appreciate your enthusiasm but whether you realize it or not, this is putting a lot of stress on you and your body."

Manager: "I don't care what they say."

Manager: "If they want you then they can wait."

Manager: "They can if they don't want me to deal with 'em."

Manager: "Trust me, I've sent away a lot of calls and messages this morning."

Manager: "It'll all be waiting for you once you've gotten some rest okay?"

Manager: "For now just relax, sit back, and let me surprise you."

Manager: "Well since I didn't know if you would really relax or just tell me so, I've decided to plan and prepare everything beforehand."

Manager: "That's what this bag is for, since you've been staring at it for the last minute."

Sounds of her getting things out of the bag.

Manager: "I've got you a new big pillow, some massage oil, and a few cold drinks."

Manager: "Here."

Sound of her placing the pillow behind the listener's head.

Manager: "Isn't that nice?"

Manager: "Much better right?"

Manager: "No I'll do the massage myself."

Manager: "Because I said so."

Sound of her opening a bottle.

Manager: "And here."

Manager: "Your favorite, just how you like it."

Manager: "Now off with that shirt so I can get started."

Manager: "What?"

Manager: "I've seen you shirt-less plenty of times when I help you get ready, there's nothing I haven't seen before."

Manager: "Or have you gotten a tattoo?"

Manager: "Then off with it."

Sounds of her opening the bottle, putting oil on her hands.

Manager: "There we go."

Manager: "Now just lean back and let me do all the work."

Manager: "I'll start with your arms."

Manager: "No need to thank me."

Sounds of her massaging the listener.

Manager: "I knew you'd notice the smell."

Manager: "It's your favorite scent so how could I not?"

Manager: Giggles. "Look at you just melting."

Manager: "And just moments before you tried to tell me that you don't need a break."

Manager: "That's because like it or not, I know you pretty damm well by now."

Manager: "Though with how ragged you've run yourself lately anyone could see that you were running out of steam."

Manager: "I admire your passion and your enthusiasm is pretty infectious, but you can't keep this kind of pace up forever."

Manager: "No nothing that extreme, I promise."

Manager: "What I want to suggest is that you take two months off, so no work, no discussions about work, no thinking about work."

Manager: "After that, you can slowly ease your way back into the swing of things, but without turning it up to eleven again you got me?"

Manager: "No I want you to promise."

Manager: "Good."

Manager: "Now flip over so I can get your back."

Sound of the listener turning around.

Manager: "Now let me get a bit more."

Sound of her putting more oil on her hands.

Manager: "Your arms felt fine, but your back has got a major stiff spot."

Manager: "Does it hurt when I touch it like this?"

Manager: "Then I'm gonna try and loosen it."

Manager: "How's the drink?"

Manager: "No thank you, I bought them for you."

Manager: "I brought some soda for myself."

Manager: "Now I have more things planned for the next few days, but if there's anything you would like to do then feel free to tell me."

Manager: "Sure, we can just push my plans back."

Manager: "It's no trouble, I'll be fine as long as you're enjoying yourself."

Manager: "None of my plans are time-sensitive, we can revisit them whenever."

Manager: "I hope you don't mind me coming along."

Manager: "As I said, gotta make sure you actually rest."

Manager: "Don't worry about me overworking."

Manager: "Besides I'll be there with you, so you can look out for my health too if you insist."

Manager: "Alright, I think I got all of the tension out of there finally."

Manager: "Now I can give the rest some lov-attention." She catches and corrects herself.

Manager: "Perhaps tomorrow we can also check out that new arcade that opened."

Manager: "I thought about you when I heard about it."

Manager: "Don't know much about games, but I'm sure you can show me the ropes right?"

Manager: "Right?"

Manager: "Hello?"

Manager: "Oh."

Manager: "Finally asleep I see."

Manager: "Took longer than I expected, but at least now you won't have to sleep with a stiff back."

Sounds of her putting a blanket over the listener, getting closer to them.

Manager: Whispering. "And don't you dare dream about work."

Manager: Whispering. I don't like seeing you all tired like this, you're too precious for that."

Sound of her kissing the listener on the cheek.

Manager: Whispering/Getting flustered. "So get lots of sleep for me okay?."

Manager: Whispering. "I'll be here for when you wake up."

Manager: Whispering. "And we can spend tomorrow together."

Audio slowly fades out.
