Mommy: "Hmm, it's been two minutes now and my baby still hasn't come back, I guess they must've found something really good then."

Mommy: "Oh I can't wait to see their smile."

Mommy: "If only they knew what I've planned for tonight~"

Mommy: "Perhaps I should check to see where-"

Sound of the listener walking up to her.

Mommy: "Oh baby! there you are."

Mommy: "I wasn't worried...okay well maybe a little bit."

Mommy: "Oh don't apologize."

Mommy: "I don't want you to rush yourself because of me."

Mommy: "This trip is for you after all."

Mommy: "So I want you to enjoy it as much as you can."

Sound of her kissing the listener.

Mommy: "I'm guessing you found something good then?"

Mommy: "Come, sit on my lap and show me what you bought."

Sounds of the listener sitting down on her lap.

Mommy: "Yep, I'm ready."

Sound of the listener grabbing some things out of their shopping bag.

Mommy: Confused. "Oh?"

Mommy: "Uh."

Mommy: "Oh baby..."

Mommy: "Thank you baby, but I gave you my card so you could spoil yourself, not get gifts for me."

Mommy: "But I do appreciate it, it's very sweet of you."

Sound of her hugging the listener.

Mommy: "I guess mommy's got to supervise you on our shopping trips from now on."

Mommy: Giggles. "Yes I do."

Mommy: "This is the fourth time now."

Mommy: "The first two times you got me gifts, and last week when I sent you some you didn't get anything but groceries."

Mommy: "I treasure everything you gift me, but I treasure you and your smile even more."

Mommy: "Oh nonsense, of course you deserve it."

Mommy: "Don't give such thoughts your time of day."

Mommy: "You deserve the world."

Sound of her kissing the listener again.

Mommy: "One day you'll agree with me, and that'll be the day when I take you out on the biggest date anyone has ever seen."

Mommy: "Hmm?"

Mommy: "Oh let them stare."

Mommy: "They're just jealous I've got such a cutie sitting on my lap~"

Mommy: "All mine to cherish, to love, to 'kiss."

Slow kiss.

Mommy: "All mine to spoil~"

Sound of her peppering the listener's face with kisses.

Mommy: "Hm?"

Mommy: "Oh right!"

Mommy: "Sorry about that baby, you know how distracted I can get sometimes when I kiss you."

Mommy: "So, where do you want to go?"

Mommy: "We can go to whatever store you want and get you something nice."

Mommy: "Shush."

Mommy: "You are not a burden, caring for you is not a burden."

Mommy: "Spoiling you is the highlight of my day."

Mommy: "Especially with how busy I've been this week, it was about time we went out again."

Mommy: "Oh not at all, I've got plenty of fun things planned for when we get back home, this is merely the beginning."

Mommy: "It's a surprise baby, but trust me I know you'll enjoy it."

Mommy: "I know how curious you can get, but you'll just have to wait."

Mommy: "Don't even get me started on my plans for the rest of the week."

Mommy: "Now that I have some free time again I'm going to spend it all with you."

Mommy: "No need to thank me, baby, I love you and I would do anything for you~"

Mommy: "Now, what store should we go to?"

Mommy: "No no, I'm getting you something."

Mommy: "I have you sitting in my lap, I'm spoiled enough."

Mommy: "Now what store do you want to see first?"

Mommy: "Or is there something specific you want me to look for?"

Mommy: "Maybe the new sci-fi store?"

Mommy: "Or how about that one boutique store?"

Mommy: "Hmm, well if you're unsure how about we just start with your favorite?"

Mommy: "They always have something to catch your eye."

Mommy: "Yeah, that vinyl display they had was pretty cool."

Mommy: "Maybe this time they'll-oh..."

Mommy: "Was that..."

Mommy: Giggles. "Is someone getting hungry?"

Mommy: "Aww, no need to be embarrassed baby."

Mommy: "I guess we're getting some food first then."

Mommy: "Come, baby, I know just the place."

Sound of them both standing up.

Mommy: "They have a place here that sells some amazing chicken."

Mommy: "We'll have a better time shopping with a full stomach."

Mommy: "No buts, I told you it's no trouble."

Mommy: "I've worked up an appetite too."

Mommy: "Now come along, before I kiss your face off."

Mommy: "Don't tempt me baby~"

Mommy: Giggles. "I was teasing."

Mommy: "...Or was I?~"

Mommy: Giggles. "Alright alright, I'll give you a break."

Sound of them walking off together.
