[Scene opens up on a cold blizzard night]

[SFX: knocking on the door]

"Hello? Hello?"

[SFX: Knocking on door]

"Please, if anyone is in there, could you let me in? It's so cold out here."

[SFX: Door opening]

"Oh thank you. There is indeed a nice person here."

[She walks in and shuts the door behind her]

"*Sneezes* Oh, um sorry. I guess I got a little tickle in my nose. *Nervous laugh*"

[You say it's fine]

"Oh, um...ok then. Tell me do you live here alone?"

[You nod]

"Woah, living all by yourself? Do you get lonely?"

[You say sometimes]

"I can imagine. Having one's privacy is nice, being alone for a long time however..."

[You ask what was she doing outside?]

"What was I doing outside? Well, I hate to admit it but..."

[She clears her throat]

"If it's ok with you, can I get warm first?"

[You say it's fine on one condition]

"Oh, and what's your condition; Hm~?"

[You ask how long has she been outside?]

"How long? Well, I can't really say. Kind of lost track of time. Is there a clock around here?"

[you point at a clock]

"Oh, good. Let's see here...well according to this; I've been out in the snow for about four hours."

[You ask if she's ok?]

"I mean, I'm a little cold but outside of that I'm-"

[SFX: Stomach growling]

"*Blushing* I'm...I'm sorry, I swear this doesn't normally happen."

[You say it's fine]

"Is it really though? I feel like I might just be bothering you for it."

[Pause]

"I mean, if it isn't too much trouble could you-"

[You walk into the kitchen]

"Again, I'm sorry to ask this of you."

[You say it's fine]

"Your a really kind to me. I don't know how I can repay you though."

[You insist it's fine]

"Is it really fine though? I may seem like I'm questioning you a lot it's just-"

[SFX: Growling stomach]

"Umm..."

[SFX: Plate being set]

"Huh? Wha-what are you-?"

[You place a few fishes on her plate]

"Oh, fish. I'm not going to lie, I don't want to burden you by taken away your-"

[You say you have seven of them]

"Huh? Seven fishes? Why so much?"

[You say why]

"I see. A family tradition. If you don't mind me joining you, I'll gladly eat some of it."

[She starts to dig in]

"Woah! I never though fish could taste so good~."

[You ask how she got in this situation]

"How...how I got here? Well, it's kind of a long story."

[You lean in]

"*Nervous laugh* I won't bore you with too many of the details...I just got kicked out was all."

[You say that's horrible]

"Yeah, and trying to find shelter in my opinion is way more horrible."

[She looks at you closely]

"I hope you won't take any offense to this, but you seem to be the first person to take me in. I'd never thought that a cat boy would show me mercy."

[You mention the holiday]

"Okay, granted it is Christmas. It doesn't explain however, why you would be nice while everyone else shunned me out."

[Pause]

"It's fine. I don't want to dwell on it."

[You ask if she has a place to stay]

"Do I have a place to stay? Currently; No."

[SFX: Standing up]

"Well, I think I have taken too much of your time, I'll just be on my-"

[You stop her]

"Huh? Wh-why are you stopping me?"

[SFX: Blizzard]

"I mean, your not wrong. It still is pretty bad out there."

[Pause]

"*Sigh* I...I just don't want to be a burden to you is all."

[You insist she stays]

"Is there any other reason?"

[You want to know why she is out in the cold]

"Like I said, It's kind of a long story and I don't want to go about boring you with any details."

[You insist]

"Um...tell you what; if you let me stay her for a bit. I'll humor you with why I was left out there."

[Pause]

"It's...well...my home...got foreclosed."

[Pause]

"It didn't help that it was one of those thing's that just piled up."

[You ask what happened?]

"Well, have you ever herd of the old saying "Bad news comes in three's"?"

[You nod]

"Kind of that. I lost my job, my account got hacked into, and my house foreclosed."

[She nervously laughs]

"I guess when I put it like that the story isn't that long huh?"

[You ask if she's ok?]

"I mean, I still have my health right?"

[Pause]

"I can understand if you don't want me around, so once the storm passes I'll be on my way. I promise."

[You insist she stay]

"Oh, no, no, no. I don't want to take advantage of your charity."

[You insist]

"Insisting huh? Well, I'll tell you what; I'll stay here with you on one condition."

[You ask what is it]

"The conditions is that you let me know of a way to repay your kindness."

[Pause]

"I'm not good at accepting charity, so if that's ok with you; I'll stay."

[You think for a moment]

"It's nothing too hard to think about, I just want a chance to repay you is all. Seriously anything's on the table."

[You want to know more about her]

"That's what you want? Really?"

[You nod]

"Ok then, what do you want to know about me?"

[You ask about her work]

"Oh, well I was a Real Estate Broker. The company I worked for had to let some people, and I was on the short end of the stick."

[You ask if she is all right]

"Really concerned for me huh? Well, just talking with you makes me feel better. For that, I thank you."

[Pause]

"If you want, once I get back on my feet I could possibly help you. That is if your interested."

[You ask how]

"We can work out the details later. In the meantime, mind if I ask you a question?"

[You nod]

"Ok, so this place seem too big for just one person. So tell me, what's your story?"

[You explain to her what happened]

"Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry. Had I known...I...*Sigh* If I overstepped my boundaries, I'm sorry."

[You insist it's fine]

"Tell you what, what if we worked together. It's a big house and all. Almost like a mansion. I'd imagine it's must be expensive to live here alone."

[Pause]

"Don't worry, I won't sell your house. I just need someone who would be willing to give me a shot."

[Pause]

"So tell you what; once I find a proper place to work, I'll then help you with your rent. I mean it's not like you probably alone could make enough money to-"

[You explain your occupation]

"Woah, your a CEO?"

[You nod]

"*Scratches chin* I don't intend to back down on what I said, I'll repay your kindness with-"

[SFX: Papers shuffling]

"Um...what are you doing?"

[You hand her a paper]

"Huh? Let's see..."

[She reads through briefly]

"Is...is this what I think it is?"

[You nod]

"Your offering me a job?"

[You nod again]

"*Sniffle* I...I can't begin to form the words of my appreciation."

[Pause]

"*Starts to cry* I...this...This is the happiest day of my life."

[You hand her a tissue]

"Oh, um thank you."

[SFX: Blowing]

"I take it you want me to work immediately?"

[You shake your head]

"*Chuckles* So, when do you want me to start...boss?"

[SFX: Paperwork]

"Oh, um...after new years. I guess that makes sense."

[Pause]

"Is there any place I can stay until then?"

[You insist here]

"Really? Here? With you?"

[You nod]

"Well, I guess it's to be expected. So...now what?"

[You wish her a Merry Christmas]

"Huh? Christmas? But it's only-"

[SFX: Clock chiming 12 times]

"Oh, so it is Christmas. Well, if that's the Case; Merry Christmas to you too...Boss."

[Fade to black]
