[Scene opens up in your apartment]

[SFX: Christmas music]

[SFX: Knocking]

"Ah, hello. I got your message. You said you needed a little help?"

[You nod]

"Good. May I come in?"

[You welcome her in and shut the door behind her]

"Thanks, It was a little nippy out there. So, what seems to be the problem?"

[You ask if she can sit down]

"Oh sure. I don't mind sitting."

[SFX: Chair pulled up]

"So, what seems to be the problem?"

[You explain the situation]

"Oh, a family of Neko's are coming in. That's seems nice. I'm sure they'll enjoy this neighborhood. There's a lot of nice people here."

[Pause]

"I take it that's not the reason you asked me to come over however."

[You nod]

"All right, so let's get to business. What seems to be the problem?"

[You stand up and walk into the other room]

"Uh-oh. That's never a good sigh. Usually when someone leaves me here, it's something bad."

[You walk back in]

"I mean, it's not that I don't trust you. You've been a regular at our café ever since-"

[SFX: Dog whimpering]

"Aw~, what a cute little puppy."

[You ask her to hold him]

"Oh, I'd love to. *hold him* Who's a good little boy~? Yes, you are. Yes you are."

[You mention your landlord might have an issue with him]

"Oh, you landlord might have an issue with him? I mean, no offense. A Neko taking care of a-"

[You say that isn't it]

"Oh. Let me guess, the new Neko family is worried that he might be an...issue. So, to prove that this little guy is harmless, you want me to show them that."

[You nod]

"Hey, don't sweat it. If anything it shows that you trust me. I was a little surprised that your landlord brought in a Neko family though."

[You ask why]

"If memory serves me right. She's a rat girl. Isn't she?"

[You mention why]

"I mean, that is a fair argument. For a successful landlord to be in this business; they don't care about the race of girls or boys that come in. Only the color of their money."

[She chuckles a little]

"So, she wants to make sure that this dog is safe enough for the family."

[SFX: Puppy noises]

"I mean, does this look like the type of a dog that can seem menacing? I mean, what type of breed is he anyway?"

[You say an American Pitbull Terrier]

"*Nervously* An American...Pitbull...Terrier?"

[Pause]

"I...I guess I can see why they would be nervous."

[You ask if she's ok]

"Huh? Oh...um...yeah. It's just...*Sighs* Ok, if I tell you something; could you promise not to tell anyone?"

[You nod]

"Okay, so...I did have an issue when I was a little girl I was attacked by a Dog. With the exact same breed as this one."

[You apologize]

"Hey, no biggie. Back then, they didn't know how to properly train these kind of dogs."

[She leans in]

"I assume you have some experience with these breeds of dogs?"

[You nod and explain]

"Oh, your first dog was a American Pitbull Terrier. So, how did you find him?"

[You explain the situation]

"*Gasp* Oh my goodness. That's horrible! I mean, who could hurt such a puppy such as-"

[She notices the stiches]

"Oh...Wow. I...um...yikes. Now that I closely look at him, he seems like he was badly treated."

[You ask if she's ok]

"Sorry, it's just...even though I still have a thing against that breed; I would never, and I do mean NEVER do that to another dog."

[The puppy gently licks her]

"Since you do have experience with this breed, I don't see any issue. I take the Neko family would only stay if they see how this Cute little guy treats me."

[You nod and apologize]

"Hey, no biggie. I wouldn't mind helping you out."

[She hands the puppy back to you]

"I...just didn't want to mess up any stiches is all. We got to make sure that he is nice and healthy."

[You take the puppy from her]

"*Sigh* Oh, before I forget. There's a big event at the Cat Café."

[SFX: Shuffling through purse]

"I know it's here somewhere...A-ha! Here it is."

[She hands you a piece of paper]

"It's for a big Christmas Gathering."

[You ask who's coming?]

"Well, I mean. Staff, Loyal customers...that means you. Oh and of course they'll be a few other monster girls. If your interested that is~."

[She giggles]

"I'm just teasing you. I know that your probably not interested in any "Monster girls". At least not now."

[She gets a little closer]

"So tell me, how has work been treating you?"

[You say fine]

"Well, that's good. Boss doing all right?"

[You mention what's going on with your boss]

"Oh, I see. There preparing for their...*Clears throat* Leave of absence. They probably want you to finish up some project huh?"

[She stretches]

"Well, I guess you can't complain. They treat you well, pay you well, and of course; This Apartment is amazing!"

[You ask if she thinks so?]

"Of course I think so. I mean, this place could fit a few extra roommates if not-"

[You ask if she wants to live here?]

"Wait, Really? You...want me to live here?"

[You nod]

"I'm...I'm honored, but are you really ok with living with a Neko Girl?"

[You nod]

"Is...is there any reason why you want me to move in? I mean, you know. Besides making the family feel more safe."

[You hand her a present]

"Huh? A present. For me?"

[You nod]

"I mean...*Clears throat* I guess I can accept this. Did you want me to open it up now or later?"

[You say now]

"Okay. I'll open it now then."

[SFX: Paper unwrapping]

"Woah, a new bell collar. It's really nice."

[Pause]

"So, I have to ask; what's the real reason you want me to live here? It can't be because you like me?"

[You nod]

"Wait, you...you like me?"

[You nod]

"*Blushing* I...um...I kind of like you too."

[Pause]

"I mean, I was kind of teasing you at first. You do seem like a really cool guy. So, I can't really say that I'm perfect for you, but I guess if I live here with you as well; the dog might know how to handle cats."

[SFX: Puppy crying]

"I mean, it is kind of cute. In it's own way."

[The puppy yawns]

"All right, I'll do it. I'll live with the two of you."

[You smile]

"*Chuckles* Not gonna lie, I think I can get use to seeing you smile like this."

[Pause]

"So, have you thought of a name for your new puppy?"

[You say Duke]

"Duke huh? I like it. It suits him."

[She sits up]

"So, I'll just get my stuff to move in. Come to think of it it'll probably take a while."

[She ponders]

"*Shrugs* I mean, I guess I can make some trips back and forth. Can't really find a good moving service in the middle of the Christmas rush."

[You ask if she really is ok.]

"Well, of course I'm ok. Just being here with you; it's worth it. You do have to owe me though."

[You ask what does she want?]

"Well, for starters; I want this."

[She leans in and kisses you]

"Got to make this thing official. Consider this; Sealed with a...kiss~."

[She giggles and kisses you again]

"*Chuckles* Man, I didn't think I can make you that red. It suits you."

[You thank her]

"Anytime. So, I guess it'll be just you...and me..."

[SFX: puppy barking]

"Yeah, and you too duke. I'll make sure you know how to act towards other Neko's. *Under her breath* And if were lucky, other cats."

[You ask if she is really ok with this]

"I'm telling you, I'm fine. Just be sure to stop in the Café a little more. Maybe I can have some of the cats who were raised with dogs to "Train" Duke."

[Pause]

"Yeah, your right. That probably would be a very bad idea. We'll just keep it small."

[Pause]

"Was there anything else you wanted me to do? Before I head out?"

[Pause]

"I know that look, Come here~."

[She gives you another kiss]

"*Giggles* I think I can get use to this. Who knows, maybe Duke will change my opinions of American Pitbull Terriers."

[SFX: door opening]

"I do got to go though. If I don't properly feed the cat's, the other staff will probably overfeed them...again."

[Pause]

"It's a long story, I'll explain it to you later."

[You nod]

"Ok, see you later."

[She walks out as it fades to black]
