And my longest series to date finally comes to a close. What a wild ride this was! Thank you to everyone who stuck around to see it through. I couldn't have done this without your support. <3

This series in particular included a lot of intentional symbolism which I haven't done very often before. The werewolf condition itself was meant to represent people affected by trauma. (although can you call it a representation when in the lore it's literally a supernatural trauma response?) It shows how people who are hurt often become paranoid, anxious, and afraid. They don't want to hurt anyone, but it can happen if left untreated. And it shows how cults often look for desperate people like this to take advantage of their vulnerable state. This also extends to Red Fang's other followers who are always in wolf form. For one it was so you wouldn't need 5 VAs to voice the whole series, but it was also to show that they are ruled by a life of fear. And that fear lead them to following someone they shouldn't have. Just like in the series, trauma can make life much harder and trauma responses can be impossible to control at times. But when treated properly people can learn to live with it. They can learn to love themselves even with the scars (physical or mental) of their past.

And then we have the Partner's name. Dawn is obviously a reference to when the sun rises and Diya means light. Both signaling the end of a werewolf transformation under a full moon. Plus there's the aforementioned fact that calling each part of this series a "Phase" refers to the 8 phases of the lunar cycle. And on top of all that I managed to put a wolf/moon connection in every subtitle! I'm really proud of the work that went into doing all of that. But of course, death of the author exists. So if that's not the interpretation you got from this series, that's ok! I'd love to hear what your thoughts on it were. Thank you all for reading and I hope you enjoy!
