[Scene opens up in your quarters completely barricaded]

[SFX: Hard knocking]

"Hello? Royal Bodyguard, are you in there?"

[SFX: Harder knocking]

"Come on dude, just open the door."

[SFX: Slamming door]

"All right, I'll have to go full dragon on you."

[SFX: Door opening]

"Ah, that wasn't so bad was it?"

[You ask what does she want?]

"Rude much?"

[Pause]

"Okay, okay. I can imagine your in no mood for all of these pressing matters. So, I'll just cut to the chase."

[SFX: Walking and sitting down on bed]

"Come on, sit."

[Pause]

"You wanted to know what I want; so It's only fair that I tell you in a more comfy situation. Unless if you prefer standing?"

[SFX: Door shutting]

"There now, just sit down next to me."

[You just stand in front of her]

"...or stand in front of me. Whatever floats your boat."

[Pause]

"Okay, I know there is probably a reason why you won't fight me."

[Pause]

"...and more importantly, a reason why you won't give up on your queen."

[Pause]

"Come on, dude. Just talk to me, the silence didn't work for my boss; and it especially doesn't work for you."

[Pause]

"At least humor me and sit down."

[You pull over a chair and sit]

"Ok, not really what I was going for; but at least your sitting."

[She leans in]

"Look, I can imagine that a weak dragon like me wouldn't be nearly good enough for an opponent such as-"

[You say that isn't it]

"Well, if that isn't it than what?"

[You say she wouldn't understand]

"Then tell me dude, I can't understand if you don't explain it to me."

[You say it's complicated]

"Then make it less complicated."

[You say you can't]

"Why won't you fight me? Do you really think I'm that weak?"

[You say it isn't that]

"Were going around in circles here. You say it isn't because I'm weak, but you won't say why? Is there even a point in me being here?"

[SFX: Pulling out a piece of paper]

"If it wasn't for this queen pleading with me; nay, begging me to fight you in a royal knight battle I would of simply blew it off."

[She notices your frustration]

"Listen, I'm not going to force you to do this; but I just need a reason why?"

[You ask Cyndir to drop it]

"No! I am not going to drop it. Not until I get an answer. Even if I have to intimidate you to do so."

[You say she wouldn't]

"Oh, I wouldn't would I?"

[SFX: Transforming into a dragon]

"Ah, now then maybe you will take me seriously when I ask you to...to..."

[She notices your head is leaning down]

"Um...buddy, are...are you ok?"

[She lifts up a claw and notices your crying]

"Oh, no, no, no, no. This is bad, this is really bad. I just made the Queen's Boyfriend cry. Um...what do I do?"

[Pause]

"Ugh. I can't think in this form."

[SFX: Transforms back]

"Hey, hey, relax. Just tell me what's wrong?"

[You try to get your composure]

"*sigh* I know this is going to take some persuasion. Come on bring it in."

[You look in confusion]

"Don't look at me as if I have two heads, come here."

[She wraps you in a hug and you cry in her shoulder]

"*Shushing* Ok big guy, just let it all out. Then you can tell me what's wrong?"

[You say it isn't fair]

"*Whispers* What's not fair?"

[You say you don't want to fight her]

"Come on dude, Am I really a-"

[You say you don't want to fight a friend]

"*Shocked* Oh...you...you don't want fight me because...because I'm your friend."

[You continue crying on her shoulder]

"Woah there. Your really opening up now aren't you?"

[You hold her tightly saying she is the only real friend he has]

"Wait, I'm the only real friend that you have? I mean, the queen must-"

[She just realizes]

"Oh, that's right. With her being your girlfriend; I guess she wouldn't just...be a friend would she?"

[You say she isn't weak]

"Wait, you don't think I'm weak?"

[You explain the situation]

"So, the reason that you don't want to fight me is because I'm your friend and not because you think I'm weak."

[Pause]

"...and furthermore, you don't want to fight a friend even if it cost you your love. I...I don't follow the last part."

[You explain]

"Wait, I can become a queen if I win?"

[She thinks for a moment]

"No, no, no. The responsibility in running a kingdom alone is too much for me to handle."

[She sits down in the bed]

"Besides, if I'm queen; that means I have to wear all those fancy dresses...*Shutters* The thought of it is too much for me."

[She stretches out on the bed]

"So, you actually consider me a friend huh?"

[You nod]

"I'm...just taken back by it. I do have to ask though; Why?"

[You mention the vice-captain]

"That's right, when he was cursed by that demon lord, you were the one to help me out. In return, I kind of gave you some advice on what to get the queen for her birthday."

[She scratches her chin]

"Hard to believe that this only was what it had taken for you to consider me a friend."

[SFX: Dog running]

"Hey, what's with that look on your-"

[SFX: Dog tackling cyndir]

"*Under the ball of fur* Oh, and who exactly is this fur ball?"

[You mention it's one of your dogs "Cinnamon"]

"I see. I don't want to really transform if I have to. Any chance you can take Cinnamon off of me?"

[You nod and remove cinnamon off her]

"*Gasp and coughing* Man, that dog is strong. Either that or I really need to train more with boss later."

[She brushes herself off]

"Anyways, we should probably get ready."

[You ask if she is still going to take a fight]

"Well, of course I'm going to still fight you...and take a dive."

[You ask why?]

"I know you would do the same for me. Besides, I owe you and the queen a lot. So, let's just go out there and do our best."

[You nod]

"That's the sprit, so let's go and-"

[You ask for a condition]

"Ugh! What's your condition?"

[You ask if the two of you will still be friends?]

"Huh? Why of course, why wouldn't we be?"

[Pause]

"Look, just because I have to fight you doesn't mean we can't be friends. Just think of this as a friendly competition. Nothing more, nothing less."

[Pause]

"Trust me. It'll be fine."

[You nod]

"All right then. Onward to your victory and fair maiden's heart."

[Pause]

"Ok, that should of been cooler than it actually was. Just...let's go and get your victory for your Queen."

[You nod]

"Let's not keep the public waiting."

[Fade to black]
