Context: There are three people in your prison: you, your Priest caretaker, or boyfriend by his own admittance, and a demon. The problem is that you aren't sure who is who, even including yourself. The Priest has kept you here to try and drive the demon out with his own 'unique' techniques... but you aren't sure he'll let you go once you are cleansed or if you're even possessed at all...

[Scene opens in a place, somewhere underground]

[SFX: A rusted door pushing in and footsteps on old marble]

“Blessed be this shithole. I’m home, love, with a bounty of groceries.”

[...]

[You hear him pause and your body tenses]

“...Honey? We talked about this ‘silent treatment’ bullshit. We’re not in fifth grade, hm?”

[P-Pause…]

“Ah, apologies, dear! I must not have heard you. I… Sweetie, have you been crying?”

[...]

“It’s not nothing… Let me put the groceries away and we can talk.”

[SFX: Him walking into the ‘kitchen’ and putting groceries away]

[You try and struggle again but, as always, the chains hold you to the room]

[SFX: Chains rattling desperately]

“Ah ah! I’ll be in in just one moment…”

[...]

[It’s too late]

[He returns and sits on the mattress, arms open]

“Come here, pet. What’s wrong?”

[Pause!]

[SFX: Chains rattling]

“Oh, honey… Why are you pulling away?”

[Pause…]

[He sits on the bed]

“...Honey… You know you’re all chained up. You can scoot away from me for about ten minutes before it gets a little silly…”

[...]

“...Angel, you’re crying… Please talk to me, I’m starting to get scared!”

[Pause!]

[You cry and yell and basically meltdown]

[SFX: The chains rattling in desperation throughout a [Pause] before weakening… weakening… ceasing]

[He watches you struggle and writhe until you can’t anymore, unreadable. When you’re done, he runs his fingers up your arms and sides]

“You think I don’t really love you…? Even when I run my fingers up your arms and sides, so gently, just like this…? Or pulling you into my lap, like this, so I can cuddle you and kiss your shoulders when you tell me it’s OK?”

[...]

“I cause you pain…?”

[Pause!]

[He considers this for a moment before smiling gently against your nape]

“Don’t lie to yourself… You like the pain.”

[...]

“You like it when I hurt you in the secret, special little ways you’ve allowed me to since we met… You don’t need to lie about that…”

[Pause!!]

[He mocks a gently pout against the back of your head]

“That’s not what you mean…? Awww. OK, OK… Why are you crying, then?”

[Pause…]

[His mocking disposition fades away as you cry in the cage of his arms]

“...You seriously think I don’t truly love you? Honey!”

[...]

“I’m so mean…? Honey…”

[Pause…]

“...I’m sorry… I didn’t realize I was hurting you in a way you didn’t enjoy. I’m sorry, pet… So, so sorry…”

[He cuddles you to him, breath rasping against your spine]

[...]

“...I do mean it.”

[You know he does]

“My sweet pet, you know I love you truly, right? Certainly, it is love behind a glass pane with appalled gawkers on the other side, but love nonetheless! We’re like a Halloween decoration together! Grotesque but true!”

[...]

[You know it’s true]

[SFX: Chains rattling]

“There we are, shh… Nice and calm… Don’t strain your anklets, dearest. They’re so bruised still from the last time the beast took over. Poor love, it does pain me so to see in such pain… Perhaps a nice, warm bath would help, hm?”

[...]

“Oh no, oh my poor angel… Don’t start sobbing all over again, I promise, you are not in any kind of trouble…”

[P-Pause]

“I know… I know you want to go home, my sweet. But you have a demon in you, remember? It is a powerful creature of lust and will only emerge once angered enough. Even still… I should be kinder… The beast is losing steam.”

[...???]

[Your captor… lover… whatever he is, lets out a sigh]

“Yes… Why do you think I am dressed as a Priest, love?”

[...]

[He laughs]

“I mean, it is certainly… kinky, I suppose. Heaven knows I’m not a normal priest but being one that handles demons in this manner is still… a difficult dinner table topic.”

[...]

[His smile remains fixed. Unbothered]

“Of course, there is a demon, my love. It will do everything it can to convince you I’m lying… and, if it speaks to you, it will no doubt tell you I am trying to do the same. I know that you have the strength to obey the correct being inside your body, however…”

[Pause!]

“Shh… I’m not crazy. You aren’t crazy. The agents of Satan are very strong.”

[Pause?!]

[He smiles mysteriously, eyes ravenous]

“I can prove I have power over it if it would ease your not knowing… But it can have quite a powerful impact on the mind. Just like this-”.

[His eyes widen slightly and, just like that, you’re unable to move]

“With one look, I paralyze the evil that has washed itself in the temple of one I have claimed. Demon, I command thee to apologize for that little tantrum earlier…”

[...]

[You apologize, no matter how you struggle]

“Good… You will submit to me, your handler and master, do you hear me, demon?”

[P-Pause]

[Your body completely betrays you… and that nightmare is enough to appease your ‘boyfriend’]

“Good! Feel better now, my sweetest treasure? I know I was harsh and I know I need to work on the ‘boyfriend’ side of things… We will, alright? For right now, try and rest. That nasty little beastie is going to be pretty angry that I made it loll its little ashen tongue like a puppy dog…”

[...]

“Don’t get me wrong… I do love it when demons submit. I do. But… you’re the first one I’ve saved from possession that I really, truly loved. It makes it awkward when the thing lusting after you isn’t necessarily your sweet little lambchop, you know?”

[P-Pause?]

[He cocks his head]

“...Did I put something in the water I brought you before I left…? That’s a curious question, angel…”

[....Pause…]

“Oh, that’s the demon… Plus, you are in my lap still, sweetheart. And I happen to know for a fact that both of you enjoy my touch in your own ways. Not for you, Gator.”

[You have no idea why but you’ve never wanted to punch him more]

“Gator’s the demon’s nickname, for what it’s worth… Now, it’s about time for us to cleanse your body… Still up for me puppeteering your body until you can’t think straight? Or shall I leave you to deal with your cranky friend and the cramps they’ll cause?”

[...]

“I love you, too, Angel… Don’t worry. Your faithful Priest won’t abandon you, even after the task is done. Now… relax.”

[He smiles against your ear, the same smile he always gives when you willingly surrender to him]

“I’ll take care of you... And I'll be sure to be sweet to you this time, OK? The demon can wait...”

[SFX: Fade out on sensual music or environmental SFX, VA’s choice]
