Hihi, so as part of my return trip I was planning on coming back in october, but because of midterms and other stuff I couldn’t. So to make up for missing out on a ton of uploads and my favorite month of the year I’m going to be doing “Scripvember” or something (patent pending)

Every day of this month I'll be posting Halloween themed scripts or just monster scripts. Hope you guys enjoy this first script. It’s based off a short VN I really like called “It gets so lonely here.” Check it out, it’s sapphic and has horror elements.

Summary for speaker: You’re a lonely mermaid who’s human best friend never came back from your last meeting 1 year ago. You’ve pushed those feelings to the side, but the feeling of grief doesn’t once leave you as you sit there and stir, staying on the coast where you two would meet all the time before she left. You don’t have a home to swim back to anyway, you’ve been lost for far too long and this coast is all you have. That is until you meet another human, curiously watching you sing from a distance. The first human you’ve met in years.

Summary for listener: You’re wandering an empty beach one day and find yourself listening attentively to a stranger’s song. Soon you round the corner and find a beautiful mermaid, singing to herself while she swims next to the beach. She turns and sees you, and for a moment the desperation in her eyes makes you think she’s a Siren of some sorts. She begs you to stay and despite yourself, you do. Only because she’s polite about it though..

“It’s dirty, there’s bones of things I haven’t seen before, It's been a year since one of you have even come around. All that’s here are just… crabs. And they’re just scurrying around picking at the bones of things I don't recognize. I think that's a rat skeleton..?”

(pause, waves crashing in the background)

(defeated) “It gets so lonely here.”
