[Scene opens up with you entering the Witch's "Prison"]

[SFX: Walking and opening the door]

"Oh, Your majesty. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

[SFX: Door shutting]

"Let me guess, couldn't find any leads?"

[SFX: Chair moving]

"Ah~, plan on resting those "Old Bones" Eh?"

[She laughs a little]

"*Sighs* Okay, okay. I won't bother with breaking the ice too much. So, what did you find?"

[Pause]

"This isn't good. When your this quiet, it's usually bad news."

[You start off by saying trout is doing good]

"Oh, well that's at least good. Trout isn't causing you any problems?"

[You shake your head]

"That's good."

[You ask about the dogs]

"Oh, these little pups? There fine. I was a little scared at first. There the sweetest though."

[SFX: Snoring]

"Yeah, I kind of tired them out a little."

[Pause]

"Don't worry, I just shrunk them down briefly. They were so ecstatic that they were running all over the floor."

[You look down]

"Hey...is everything all right?"

[She notices your trying to hide your tears]

"Aw, don't do that. I mean, I'm trying to make the best of things."

[you nod]

"Listen; All I have to do is explain to them why I can't fly on a broom."

[You ask if that is ok?]

"Why, of course it's ok. I mean, sure. The other witches made fun of me...and bullied me...and humiliated me...and said I was better off marrying a newt. That's all in the past now."

[Pause]

"Besides, everyone in this kingdom knows about my...*Looks out the window* Fear...of heights."

[You see her face get pale]

"I mean, it's not like I'm afraid...of slipping...or falling...or-"

[You hold her hand]

"Huh? Oh...um...sorry. My mind kind of wandered there for a moment."

[You ask if she is better.]

"Yeah...yeah. I think I'm better now."

[Pause]

"So outside of my...*Gulp* acrophobia; what would it take for you to believe my innocence?"

[You say that you do believe her]

"Well, if that is the case; why put me here? In a high location?"

[You say her safety]

"My safety? I...don't follow."

[You explain the reason]

"So the reason you put me up here is due to the fact that someone might be jealous of me..."

[Pause]

"I'm sorry, I can't really comprehend what you just said. Did you say someone was "Jealous" of me?"

[You nod]

"Me? The same witch that can't fly a broom. Me. The same girl who can't even sand up for herself when she is being bullied. Me. The witch-"

[You explain]

"The...witch who all the children love? Wait, they...like me?"

[You explain why]

"Okay, okay. I'll admit. I don't really like...frightening children. Maybe it's just because I see myself in them. You know, scared...hopeless...*Sniff* A...little weak."

[She tries to keep her composure]

"It's at least nice knowing someone believes me."

[Pause]

"I'm not referring to just the children though. I'm also referring...to you."

[Pause]

"I mean, you could of easily thrown me in the dungeon and forgot about me...but you didn't."

[Pause]

"So this does lead to a more...intriguing follow up question. Why?"

[Pause]

"Why go out of your way to help me? You could of easily thrown me in a dungeon...just to pleas the neighboring kingdoms and villages. So why risk everything just to protect me?"

[Pause]

"I could write it off as you and I going way back...but in order for you to keep face...with your fellow monarchs, you'd have to do something."

[Pause]

"Please your majesty, just be honest with me. Just this once."

[You explain that you like her]

"Well, I like you too your majesty."

[You explain what kind of like]

"Wait...so when you say that you like me...you, like me like me?"

[You nod]

"Woah...honestly didn't expect a confession. Least from you."

[She realize what she just said]

"Uh, no offense of course."

[You say none taken]

"It's just...isn't there some laws against our...relationship?"

[SFX: Book slamming on table]

"Aha. Figures, let's see what we got here."

[SFX: Paper turning]

"Let's see here...Yup marriage. A royal King or Queen can only marry royalty."

[You ask her to continue reading]

"Continue reading? Okay, I guess."

[SFX: Paper turning]

"Let me see...However, there are certain instances where a King or a Queen can choose to not marry a Royal."

[She looks at the list]

"These include but not limited to; The Monarch gets up in age, *Looks at king* Yeah no. Your still very young. *Looks back at list* Gets and approval from the courts..."

[Pause]

"If I remember correctly, isn't my relationship with the courts kind of...fickle at best?"

[You explain why it isn't]

"Oh, I guess that would be good reason. Can't believe I forgot that I saved all their first born children."

[Looks back at the list]

"Or, if they wins over the people's hearts. Then a King or a Queen can marry...a commoner."

[She gently shuts the book]

"Um...correct me if I'm wrong, but how old is this law?"

[You explain why this law exist]

"I see. A rival country had an issue similar to this. The courts getting desperate just said; "For goodness sake, just marry someone" You know...it does kind of make sense."

[She stretches' a little]

"So, was there any leads?"

[You say one]

"Ah, I take it you followed up on it."

[You nod]

"...And?"

[You stand up]

"Um...is this something I need to be concerned about?"

[You explain how her name was cleared]

"So a neighboring country knows that I wouldn't be out there in that time of the year...How?"

[You show her a plant]

"Ah, yes. This particular herb only grows in the spring around the...wait...So, the monarch of that-"

[You say princess]

"Wait, a princess?"

[She slams her head on the table]

"*Moans* Great, Just GREAT!"

[You ask if anything the matter?]

"A king or a queen could probably make a fair argument, but why a Princess?"

[You explain the situation]

"So this princess has some...footing you say? I guess that wouldn't be too bad..."

[She looks at the name of the princess]

"Wait, I know this girl. Or at least know of her."

[You ask how]

"So one of my bullies years ago tried to take over a kingdom...apparently this young squire had her pinned."

[She leans back]

"I never did understand why witches wanted to "Rule the Kingdom" Forget it being a cliché, it's just boring. After you take over...then what?"

[Pause]

"Exactly, just another excuse to have someone burn you at the steak...or worse."

[You ask if that actually works]

"Does burning at the steak actually work? Yeah, well. Who wouldn't that kill?"

[Pause]

"Anyways, where does that leave me?"

[You tell her the situation]

"If I help the other kingdom stop this Evil witch, they'll reward me handsomely? How?"

[SFX: Papers folding]

"Let's see here...Uh-huh...pardon of all accusations...good, good...Wait, Am I reading this right? Access to any sources that the kingdom see's fit?"

[You nod]

"I...I don't know what to say."

[Pause]

"I mean, I guess I can think of something."

[You ask what?]

"Well, for starters; if other kingdoms are ok with me taking a king as my husband-"

[You are shocked]

"Yeah, you heard right. I...I love you too. Honestly, I've been in love with you since the first day we met."

[You ask why that request]

"Well, if I clear my name and prove that I am innocent; It'll prove to everyone that I am worthy of being a queen. *Under her breath* Although, I wouldn't mind in name only."

[Pause]

"Anyways, just leave it to me. I'll help the kingdoms and then-"

[You ask to wait]

"Huh? Wait, what-"

[SFX: Kiss]

"Oh, a...a kiss."

[You say for good luck]

"For good luck huh? Can't say I don't need it. I'll just gather my supplies and be on my way."

[She walks away only to return]

"Oh, before I forget, could you possibly look after my home and-"

[You nod]

"Oh, your the best."

[SFX: Kissing]

"*Giggles* Until we meet again. My love."

[Fade to black]
