[Scene opens up with the Flirty queen]

[SFX: Blankets shuffling]

"*Giggles* Good morning, my Handsome Knight~"

[SFX: Kisses]

"I'm sure your ready for another day with me right~?"

[You nod and kiss her back]

"Ah~! Aren't we in a flirtatious mood today~. Tell me, *Stretches* What shall we do today~?"

[She gets closer]

"Shall we have Breakfast in bed~? Followed by some...cuddling~? Maybe after that, the two of us can-"

[SFX: Knocking on the door]

"Ugh! Talk about horrible timing. Wait right...here~. I'll just check to see who it is~."

[She giggles and kisses you before getting out of bed]

"This better be something good to interrupt our special time together."

[SFX: Walking to door]

"Yes?"

R "Ma lady? May I have a moment of your time?"

[She stares at her and tries to regain her composure]

"Umm...could you give me a second? I need to properly get dressed."

R "Of course, my dear. Take your time."

[SFX: Door shutting]

"Hide!"

[You look in confusion]

"Don't just stand there, Hide!"

[You rush into the closet and shut the door slightly. ]

[SFX: Door opening]

"Ah, if it isn't the "Royal Rule taker" To what do I owe the honor?"

[She walks in]

R "Well, your Majesty as you know; I have a lot of individual things to go over with you...for starters-"

[SFX: Door shutting]

R "Man, keeping this act up for the guards is very...tiring."

[The queen is in shock]

"Uh...Royal rule taker? Is everything all right?"

R "I was just about to ask you the same thing."

[She walks over to the window and looks outside]

R "Hmmm....Well, I guess he isn't out there."

"Out where, rule taker?"

R "Your new fling!"

"I...I...I don't know what you are talking about. I shall not be assumed that-"

R "Easy your Majesty. I mean no ill intentions to your new boyfriend. In fact, I kind of like him."

"You...do?"

R "Why of course I do. *Snickers* Girl, I tell you though; If I was twenty years younger and he was thirty years older I'd definitely-"

"Rule taker!"

R "Oh, right...sorry. *Clears throat* Now, I'm not sure if you know about dating or even possibly marrying a commoner has some-"

"I'm going to have to stop you there, Rule taker. The courts has no issues with him."

R "Nor do I, you Majesty. I do however have to take into effect of your new...suitor, how he plans to win over the people. For without winning the hearts of the people, They cannot truly rule beside you."

"I'll just tell them that his father and my father..."

[She realize the kind of implications it would lead and stops mid sentence]

R "His father and your father, what? Your Majesty?"

"...You know what? Forget it."

R "There is some good news for you though."

[She sits down]

"Oh, Goody. Let me guess; some impossible task that he has to complete?"

[She walks over]

R "Well, not that impossible. In fact your grandmother faced a similar test...she however dosn't have an advantage that you do."

[She leans in]

"Oh, and what is that?"

R "For starters, you know both parties that could help us in this...predicament."

"*Facepalms* For once, could you just be blunt and tell me your plans?"

R "Well, you have two options for they young Knight. Option one; have him fight and/or conquer a Demon Lord General."

"*Sigh* There is no way, I would have him fight against that...that...thing."

R "Option two I'm afraid isn't much better."

"Let me guess; Have him fight a dragon?"

[Pause]

"Wait, really? You...you want my beloved to fight a dragon. Do you realize how insane that sounds?"

R "Well...it doesn't have to be a "Full Dragon"

[Pause]

"No. No! I will not let you have him fight her."

R "Considering how limited the options were your Majesty, what would you suggest?"

"For starters, what kind of challenge did my grandmother face?"

[The Rule taker looks away]

"Royal Rule taker; what challenge...did my grandmother face?"

R "Ok, fine. She fought a dragon...and barely won."

"*Scratches chin* Although this does explain a few things, like why she refuses to take off those gloves."

R "Actually most of her burns were on her-"

[Pause]

R "On second thought; never mind."

"Now comes the important question; how could we convince her."

R "I mean, it doesn't have to be a "Battle to the death" Your majesty."

[Pause]

"Elaborate, Rule Taker."

R "The thing is, She was knighted. All you have to do is ask the neighboring monarch if we could "Borrow" the young lass. Explain the situation to her, have her face against your beloved-"

"And have her take a dive."

R "Oh, no Your Majesty. We can't have her take a dive."

"And why not?"

R "Your a Knight; and you are ask to represent your kingdom. Could you honestly take a dive in front of your piers?"

[Pause]

R "Exactly."

"So what do you suggest I do?"

R "It's all wait simple, Just have them have a match."

"A match."

R "Yup."

"The two of them?"

R "An official match. The two will face each other and if your beloved wins; the people will accept him fully."

"But what if he loses?"

[Pause]

"Rule taker?"

R "Let's not dwell on that factor my queen."

"Rule taker...please."

R "Well, there is always the first option."

"Please rule taker. What does the other party gets with a win?"

R "If the other party wins...with all do respect; she could theoretically ask for "The crown"?"

"WHAT?!"

R "If what you say about this girl is true, we don't have to worry about this."

"HOW IS THIS EVEN A RULE?!"

[SFX: Shuffling through papers]

R "Well, according to the first writing of this rule; "There was...complications on finding a worthy dragon opponent". So, some "Percussions" Had to be in place. A deal was made. In order to convince the dragon to fight, they gave their crown as "Collateral."

"I can't believe I'm hearing this."

R "Hey, if anything; best case scenario, you owe her a feast."

"...And worse case scenario, I could lose my crown."

R "listen, your majesty. If you really want to not go though with this, I'll try to find another way. I can't promise I'll find a solution right away, but if it exist; I'll find it."

"*Sigh* I appreciate it, rule taker. I know that you have my best interest in heart. For what it's worth, when I heard other kingdom's and their rule takers, I'd-"

R "Thought I be an old "Stick-in-the-mud" eh?"

"Rule taker, I mean no-"

R "It's ok your majesty. For what it's worth, the stereotype is true...to a point."

[SFX: Walking closer]

"If however, you find another...safer method-"

R "Don't worry your pretty little head. If I find another method, you'll be the first to know."

[SFX: Door opening]

[Pause]

"Um...I can explain."

R "Meh, I've seen worse hiding spots. Come on out my dear."

[You step out]

"Rule taker...I-"

R "Just consider my options your majesty, in exchange; I'll keep this little "Fiasco" Between us."

"Deal."

R "Well, I shall take my leave then. *Whispers* Just between us, you better not break her heart, or I'll break something of yours. Understand?"

[You nod]

R "Good. *Back to normal* Until we meet again."

[She walks out of the room]

"*Sigh* I know she can be a handful at times, but sadly she does have a point. If the people can't get behind you...I can only imagine-"

[You hug her]

"Huh? What...what is this for?"

[You explain about the choices]

"You...you don't want those choices? I mean, it's not like I would ever send you to your death by fighting the demon lord or-"

[You explain why you don't want to fight her]

"Oh...um...I guess that is a fair argument. Fighting a friend, even if it is an "Official" match might put a strain on your friendship."

[She notices your crying on her shoulder]

"Wait, are you really upset over this?"

[you nuzzles in your shoulder...shaking]

"Ok, I'll see what I can do. I'm sure that she would understand if we don't go with that option."

[She hugs you back]

"It might have to be a last resort though. Even though I hate asking you to do something like this...I-"

[You continue to cry in the hug as she gently shushes you]

"Come on now, just let it out. We can't have any knights of mine crying amounts the public right? So, just let it out."

[She gently shushes you as you pass out]

"*Inner monologue* Woah, he must of been really tensed up over this. *Sigh* I guess I have been asking a lot of him lately."

[She gently hums to you as it fades to black]
