Girlfriend: "Yeah, it has been a long day."

Girlfriend: "I'm sorry I'm home so late."

Sound of her pulling off her clothes.

Girlfriend: "There was a lot of editing to do and I didn't want to have to finish it tomorrow, so I just plowed through it all."

Girlfriend: "The others are helping me, but some of them are also doing other projects at the same time."

Girlfriend: "Yeah, and then there is the shuffle of people coming in and out to do their recordings."

Girlfriend: "Hectic can be an understatement at times, but I wouldn't change it."

Girlfriend: "If anything, being surrounded by so much progress going on can get me pretty pumped up on some days."

Girlfriend: "No I didn't have a break, I chose to work through it."

Girlfriend: "I know I know, I should've taken it, but I was in the zone you know?"

Girlfriend: "And once I'm in the zone I want to keep the rhythm going."

Girlfriend: "I ate my lunch while working."

Girlfriend: "It was really delicious, thank you for packing it."

Girlfriend: "You really know how to make 'em."

Girlfriend: "The others get a little bit jealous sometimes that I always have one and that it comes with little notes as well."

Girlfriend: "I also put them next to my monitor before putting them with the others in my wallet."

Girlfriend: "Of course I keep them."

Girlfriend: "You take the time out of your morning to make them and draw little hearts and smilieys on them, it's so precious."

Girlfriend: "I can only imagine the cute expression on your face every time you make th-" She notices that she's starting to daydream.

Girlfriend: Clears throat. "So yes, I keep them, and everything else you make me."

Girlfriend: "Oh...Uhhh...actually, I've been home for an hour now."

Girlfriend: "Yeah..."

Girlfriend: "Well I was trying to write another song before I came in here."

Girlfriend: "I thought you might already be asleep, so I didn't want to come in here and wake you."

Girlfriend: "Well I'm here now because I'm joining you in bed."

Sound of her huffing as she flops down on the bed.

Girlfriend: "Urgh..."

Sound of her moving under the covers.

Girlfriend: "Yeah I'll be fine, just tired."

Girlfriend: "I couldn't write anything because I kept nodding off."

Girlfriend: "One moment I would have the sheet of paper before me and then I'll suddenly be with you in the park or on a walk."

Girlfriend: "After I avoided slamming my face into the desk for like the sixth time, I just gave up and decided to plop myself down next to you and let your calming presence do its thing."

Girlfriend: "True, I have been writing a lot, not to mention the editing."

Girlfriend: "And I still have a bunch of recording to do."

Girlfriend: "But for today, my creative juices are depleted."

Girlfriend: "Mhm."

Girlfriend: "So what I need is to regenerate them."

Girlfriend: "With rest, warmth, and you, what else?"

Girlfriend: "No you can keep reading your book."

Girlfriend: "But could I maybe put my head on your lap?"

Girlfriend: "Thank you."

Sounds of her getting closer and cuddling up to the listener.

Girlfriend: "Yes, please play with my hair."

Sound of her kissing the listener's hand.

Girlfriend: "I love you too."

Girlfriend: Yawns.

Girlfriend: "Mhm?"

Girlfriend: "No, I just grabbed a couple of slices of toast when I came home."

Girlfriend: "I promise I'll have a proper breakfast with you tomorrow."

Girlfriend: "And for dinner, I'll take you out okay?"

Girlfriend: "No no, you've been way too nice all this time."

Girlfriend: "Making breakfast and dinner every day, being super patient with me coming home late."

Girlfriend: "I know I don't have to, but I want to."

Girlfriend: "If you really don't want to go out then I can cook dinner at home, but either way I'm gonna make tomorrow night all about you."

Girlfriend: "If I could I would take tomorrow off, but then I would really be swimming in work."

Girlfriend: "But once this is over I'll take some time off work and spend it with you, I promise."

Girlfriend: "Good."

Girlfriend: "It's gonna be the best evening of your life."

Girlfriend: Yawns.

Girlfriend: "But for that to be possible I'm gonna need some sleep now."

Girlfriend: "Goodnight love~"

Girlfriend: "Have fun reading and sleep well."

Girlfriend: Dosing off. "I love you too...."

Audio slowly fades out with the sound of her gentle breathing.
