[Scene opens up on Halloween Night]

[SFX: Screams in the distance]

"Ah, Halloween. My favorite time of the year."

[Pause]

"The leaves are falling, the children are trick-or-treating-"

[She notices her Haunter eating all the candy]

"My Haunter~, eating ALL OF THE HALLOWEEN CANDY!?"

[She grabs her]

"Edgar what the heck dude?! This candy is for the trick or treaters."

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"I don't care that your hungry. Besides, if I remember correctly; you had two bags of Pokémon treats that you ate."

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"Look, I get that you really like this time of the year...but please, just for once...think about someone else?"

[The haunter looks confused]

"Okay, listen. I know you get really exited around this time. Can you however, just think of all those kids that we have to give candy to?"

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"Look, I know you do care about them. Many of them also love you. *Under her breath* Some more than others admittedly *Back to normal* So please, just let them have their fun?"

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"*Sigh* now I just need to think of something to do for the kids now."

[She notices you]

"Oh, H-Hello. It's good to see you again."

[You ask if she's ok?]

"Oh, um...actually, I kind of have a situation here."

[Pause]

"Not to mention any names..."

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"...But we currently don't have any candy for the Trick-Or-Treaters."

[SFX: Bag shuffling]

"Hey, what are you doing?"

[You pull out a bag of candy]

"*Gasp* Did...did you know I would need candy?"

[You nod]

"Aw~, that's so sweet."

[SFX: Haunter cry]

“No Edgar, you cannot have any of this candy.”

[You offer a different bag of candy]

“you’re really gonna spoil him with more candy?”

[SFX: Haunter cry]

“Just remember, if you keep this up; don’t come crying to me if you get a tummy ache.”

[You ask if she has any plans for tonight]

“Tonight? Well, outside of the kids going Trick-or-Treating I just plan on maybe summoning some spirits and watching horror movies.”

[Pause]

“I’m joking about something spirits. That’s usually an event for November 1st.”

[You look confused]

“Well, when I was a little girl, I realized that trying to talk to the dead was easier on November 1st over October 31st.”

[You ask why?]

“Why? Well, just think of it as trying to call someone famous on their birthday. It would be a lot busier the day of than the next day.”

[Pause]

“Spirits get contacted a lot on Halloween. The following day however…nothing.”

[SFX: Haunter cry]

“I know buddy, they probably get really lonely. Not that I blame humans. In fact, many spirits like Halloween.”

[You ask really?]

“Why, of course they do. Seeing the little children dress up, many of them as famous people…or Pokémon. To them, it’s almost…therapeutic.”

[SFX: Haunter cry]

“I know buddy, you also like spending time with the kids.”

[You ask if Edgar is really that popular]

“Oddly enough, yes. I think one of the funniest moments was when he tried to scare one couple a few nights ago.”

[Pause]

“It was actually kind of cute. The boyfriend was a little shocked, but the girl just looked at my Haunter and said; “Edgar, is that you”

[SFX: Haunter cry]

“Turns out that girl was one of the kids a few years ago who Edgar liked to play with. It’s interesting seeing the kids who either remember Edgar as a Gasly or a Haunter.”

[She giggles a little]

“It makes me happy that people remember him. If anything, it’s almost like going down memory lane.”

[She pets Edgar gently]

“According to him, the two caught up on old times. Even the boyfriend apologies if he “Offended” Edgar in any way.”

[SFX: Haunter cry]

“Yeah, it was surprising, you’re usually the one who has to apologize. Instead, he ended up doing so.”

[You asked what happened]

“Well, the two ended up bonding much to my shock. When Edgar told me what she was up to, I was actually kind of thrilled.”

[Pause]

“Apparently, the two were going out on their first date. Seeing Edgar is a lot like running into an old friend. The two talked for a bit more and he escorted them out of the woods.”

[SFX: Haunter cry]

“Yeah, because you would get an earful from me or my BF here.”

[You say you would never scold haunter]

“Really? You would let it slide?”

[You mention why]

“That I’ll admit; is a valid point. I will have to say however, that even though they were good friends, I’d imagine if he wasn’t such a good sport, it could have ended horribly.”

[You smile at her]

“So, any real reason your here this Halloween? I mean, it's probably not to just spend time with me right?"

[You say that's the exact reason]

"Eh? That...is the reason?"

[You get closer]

"Um...any reason your getting closer right-"

[SFX: Kissing]

"Wow, no matter how many times you kiss me, you still make my heart flutter. Come here~"

[She hugs and kisses you]

"*Giggles* So what did you have in mind for tonight~?"

[You say what you have planned]

"Oh~? A romantic evening...watching scary movies?"

[You nod]

"That sound lovely. Of course, we'll still have to give out the candy of course~."

[You agree]

"*Giggles* Splendid~. Then let's enjoy the evening together...just you...me~..."

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"And Edgar...Edgar? Don't you have to go and do your yearly tradition?"

[You ask what it is]

"Well, He usually goes out with some of the kids...kind of like an escort."

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"What do you mean they cancelled last minute?"

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"Misdreavus? What do you mean she's covering for you?"

[You say you don't mind him hanging out]

"Huh? Y-you don't mind him hanging out with us?"

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"Really Edgar? Like I could do that...especially with you watching us."

[You ask what]

"Well, Edgar really wanted us to...cuddle while watching the movie?"

[You say you love to]

"R-really?"

[You nod]

"Ah, I can't resist that cute face anymore; come here."

[She kisses you passionately]

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"I know, I know. We won't leave the candy behind."

[SFX: Haunter cry]

"*Clears throat* Well, I do appreciate that you like him as much as I do. Anyways, shall we?"

[You nod]

"*Giggles* Good."

[The two of you walk to her place as it fades to black]
