Summary
(For the Speaker) You're an angel who fell from heaven for your great (and ambiguous) sin(s.) When you fell to the world below, the people all shunned you for your status. However, one person was different. The two of you formed an adventuring party and conquered many perils together. Eventually you became friends, and after that, lovers. It filled you with a joy and sense of fulfillment that you wish could last forever. But how could it? You might be immortal, but your lover is not. Thankfully fate smiled on you one day. After the two of you defeat a necromancer together you discover that they were moments away from completing a ritual that would make them immortal. Now your love can complete it in his place and become immortal! The two of you can live as lovers together forever! But there's just one problem. The ritual requires many sacrifices, and your love is hesitant to sacrifice so many people just to become immortal. You try to convince them. You bargain, dehumanize the captives, appeal to your love's sense of heroism, but nothing is working. Therefor, you might just have to become the villain. You would never hurt your lover of course, but the sacrificial captives are not so holy.
(For the Listener) An angel fell from heaven one day. When everyone else shunned them, you took the fallen angel under your wing, forming an adventuring party with them. Eventually they became your devoted lover. But now that you're facing a necromancer and a macabre ritual, you'll find out that angels don't just fall for no reason.
