I had to think long and hard about if I wanted to accept this script topic or not. I'm used to writing more lighthearted and comfort-oriented content. This is about as far away from that as you can get. Not to mention it deals with a very serious issue that affects far too many people. After weighing my options, I decided that I should write this. Not because it will make for a pleasant audio, but because it does bring up real issues. Issues like toxic masculinity scaring men into hiding when they've been hurt, the idea that hurt people (if they don't get help) can go on to hurt other people, and the fact that open communication is key in a relationship. Please let me know your thoughts, as the last thing I want to do is make light of a serious issue. This script is not meant to show a healthy or functioning relationship. It's meant to show one that has major boundary and communication issues. A relationship that could potentially become healthy one day, but it will take work in order to get there.
