[Scene opens up with the Queen in the ballroom]

[SFX: Footsteps]

"Hmm...It looks good Charles, but do you think it would be too scary for the children?"

[Charles shakes his head]

"Well, if you insist. Just know I won't be held responsible if these kids are crying afterwards."

[You walk in]

"Ah, perfect timing. I need your opinion on some new decorations I will be putting up."

[You ask if she like Halloween this much?]

"Not really, I do however love it when the children run around and have a lot of fun. After all, they are out future. We can't overdue it with some holidays."

[Pause]

"I know that look, "Am I just doing it for the children?" you might be wondering. I'll admit, there are some...alternative motives."

[You raise an eyebrow]

"It's more the courts opinion than my own. That I use this as an opportunity to "Make Peace" with certain neighboring queens. The problem is, too many of them can't give up on old wounds if you know what I mean."

[The two of you walk out]

"Many in the courts find that it isn't very "Proper" for a queen to make so many other monarchs angry. Especially after that last fiasco."

[She lowers her head]

"I do appreciate what you did for me though. I...can't even begin to show my gratitude."

[You lift up her chin and say it was worth it]

"It was worth it? How?"

[You say seeing her smile made it worth it.]

"Okay, granted. Seeing those few queens getting what they deserve was way too great of a moment for me. Even the prince and princess I mentioned at the ball, they were ecstatic on the way you and I am quoting them "Defended my honor"."

[She sighs a little]

"Anyways, have you finished with the decorations?"

[You nod]

"Wonderful, I knew I could rely on you~."

[She goes in for a kiss but you stop her]

"Huh? What was that for? Could it be that your embarrassed to show affection to your queen~?"

[You say you have to apologize first]

"Apologize? Whatever for?"

[You say there is going to be a familiar guest coming]

"A familiar guest? *Gasp* Don't tell me, mom is coming here?"

[She starts to panic]

"Oh no, Oh no, Oh no! This is bad, this is really bad. I mean, I know where a couple now. The courts have been really smug with me having a...boyfriend. Not to mention their pretty smitten of you as well, but your mother?! If she-"

[You say she isn't coming]

"She...she isn't?"

[You shake your head]

"*Sigh* Well, that is a relief. I mean, that dragon girl I know has a previous engagement so, she can't be here."

[SFX: Dog panting and running]

"And the prince and princess that I mentioned are busy in their kingdom's so who could it-"

[SFX: Thud]

"*Muffled* Ah, Cinnamon. It's great to see you again. By any chance, could you kindly get off me? This dress doesn't need any dog hair."

[You remove Cinnamon off of the queen]

"*Gasp* No offense cinnamon, but I wasn't going as a werewolf this year. Maybe next year?"

[You see Cinnamon panting heavily]

"Don't tell me, you ran all the way over here? Aw Cinnamon, let's go get you some water."

[The three of you walk to the kitchen]

[SFX: Water being poured]

"There you go, drink up."

[Cinnamon starts drinking.]

"So, this is what you meant by "Familiar Guest"? Is that right?"

[You nod and apologize]

"No need for apologies. Just between us. *she leans in* I kind of missed her as well."

[She giggles a little]

"Anyways, shall we continue with the preparations?"

[You nod]

"*Giggles* Wonderful~. But before we get back to work, you owe me something that is overdue."

[SFX: Kissing]

"Ah, now I'm ready for whatever the kingdom throws at me. Positive or negative."

[You ask what is she looking forward to?]

"Really just seeing the kids is enough for me. Seeing them bob for apples, making little treats, you know the works."

[She sits for a moment]

"The one thing I'm not looking forward too is trying to "Make Peace" with those, no good, good-for-nothing, self-righteous, ugly-"

[She pauses knowing that both you and Cinnamon are staring at her]

"*Clears throat* Anyways, I know what I must do. *Pats Cinnamon* I just hope that I am brave enough or in this case; can stomach what I must do."

[She stands up.]

"Well then, shall we?"

[SFX: Doors opening and children cheering and screaming]

"Now remember kids, not to go into the eastern wing. The marble floors are very slippery."

[They all run into the western part of the castle]

"*Sigh* I know what your thinking. I must be insane inviting all of the children to the events as well."

[You look at her with confusion]

"To tell the truth, I honestly like it when my subjects; young or old enter this place. It makes it feel more like...a home."

[You wrap an arm around her]

"*Sigh* I know it seems sappy, but it is true."

[The two of you walk to the kids playing and having fun]

"This does bring back a lot of good memories. Seeing these kids remind me when I was a little girl, playing with everyone."

[You ask if your parents allowed it]

"Not that they could really stop me. Being so exited for this time of the year, getting a lot of treats. We can't also forget all of the lovely costumes."

[She sighs in a relaxing manner]

"It does bring a lot of good memories."

[She giggles as she see's the kids playing with cinnamon]

"It seems like cinnamon is a natural with the kids."

[You explain why]

"Ah~, your mother figured that Cinnamon would be a little too...reckless with children, so she taught her how to behave in front of children."

[You nod]

"Now if only she can be this tame with me..."

[She stretches her back]

"I'm not as nimble as I like to be. Especially with this dress on."

[You blush a little]

"I of course am referring to the model of the dress my dear knight."

[She giggles knowing your turning red.]

"So, before I have to deal with the headache enduing queens; did you want to have a little fun~?"

[You ask how so.]

"Oh, I've got an idea~."

[She laughs a little as she brings you to the kids to have a little fun with the games]

"So kids, it appears that my lovely knight here wants to show how well he can grab an apple for me. He's so confident that he said he can bob for an apple in just one try. Do you think he can do it?"

[The children cheer as you look at her with a "really?" look]

"*Whispers* Come on, I bet it's been a while since you did something fun like this, right?"

[You shrug and go along with it]

"*Giggles* That's my brave knight~."

[SFX: Splashing]

"Ah, this should be fun. After he fails this attempt I can be there to comfort-"

[SFX: Splashing stops]

"...Him? Wait, you got an apple? And at such a short time?"

[You hand her the apple that was in your mouth]

"*Blushing* Oh...um...thank you."

[She clears her throat]

"Well, does anyone else want to-"

[Cinnamon splashes her head in the bucket]

"Wait, Cinnamon. Stop! You'll get the water all-"

[She lifts her head up and hands her two apples]

"*Slightly disgusted by all the dog droll* Dirty."

[Cinnamon slightly whimpers]

"Aw, it's ok girl. We'll just get some more apples and fresh water for the kids is all."

[The maids brings in a fresh batch of clean water and apples]

"Have fun kids *Whispers to cinnamon* You weren't trying to show up your master were you?"

[SFX: Gentle bark]

"Aw~. I couldn't stay mad at you for long."

[One of the maids comes up to the queen and whispers in her ear]

"Huh? What seems to be the-"

[Her face goes pale]

"I um...Ah right."

[SFX: Walking towards you]

"*Whispers* There here."

[You ask who]

"Who? The queens. Is there any chance you can take the kids out for a quick walk in the gardens?"

[You ask if it's safe]

"Safer than the children having to deal with these...monarchs."

[You agree and take the children to the gardens]

[SFX: Children screaming]

"Okay, now to deal with these...Queens."

[She moans as she doesn't want to do this]

"Why do I have to grovel to these people?"

[SFX: Dog whimpering]

"It's fine Cinnamon, I just need to get this over with."

[The queens walk into the quarters]

"Well, I'm sure your probably wondering why I invited you all here."

[One of them said for an apology]

"*Inner monologue* Just bite your tongue dear and apologize to them. The sooner you do that, the sooner you can get back to the fun."

[She clears her throat]

"Yes well, I cannot apologize for my date's behavior. I can however apologize for any "Misunderstandings" that had lead us to be at our widths ends."

[One of the queen's mock her boyfriend as the others laugh]

[SFX: Fist clenching]

"Yes, well-"

[SFX: Growling dog.]

"Huh? Cinnamon? what's wrong?"

[They began to mock her for having a dog as a good friend]

"Look now, I can oversee you making fun of me at my expense. I do ask you to leave Cinnamon out of this. She hasn't done anything wrong."

[They still mock Cinnamon and your boyfriend]

"Please ladies, try to be civil. I don't think that name calling will solve-"

[SFX: Barking dog]

"*Gasp* Cinnamon? You can bark?"

[The monarchs get scared by cinnamon's barks]

"*Inner monologue* Wait, if I remember correctly, didn't my boyfriend say something about...oh no."

[SFX: Continued barking]

"Cinnamon; sit!"

[Cinnamon still growls at the queens]

"Cinnamon....Sit!"

[Cinnamon sits]

"Okay now. That's a good girl."

[She addresses the queens]

"*Clears throat* Now my fellow ladies, there are a few things that make me ABSOLUTELY LIVID in this world; Those who mock others who cannot defend themselves, and those who would steal another person's beloved."

[She walks towards them]

"I can overlook the second offense...once. However, I cannot overlook you being so...heartless that you would go after a harmless dog. I'll ask you kindly to leave the premises."

[They all walk out in a huff as you enter]

"I take it the kid's were too much of a handful?"

[You ask her to not get mad]

"Let me guess, they are trying to destroy the garden."

[You nod]

"*Laughing* Don't worry, my dear knight. The garden will be completely fine."

[You ask how]

"*Whispers* That garden I had you sent it too, It's enchanted~."

[Your shocked by the revelation]

"So, don't worry. If anything the garden might just suprise you. I'll prove it to you."

[She walks out with you]

[SFX: Children playing]

"See? The garden is still standing."

[You impressed]

"I bet your probably wondering why it's enchanted. I don't know the full details, but apparently one of my ancestors was a bit of a...ruffian in his youth. So, to accommodate him, they made an enchanted garden."

[She holds you close]

"Yup, this garden can take on anything. I'd bet our old "Dragon friend" Couldn't even burn it down."

[Pause]

"In the meantime, how's about the two of us enjoy the kids playing in the garden."

[You nod]

"*Giggles* Good, because there is one treat I would love right about now~."

[SFX: Kissing]

"Now then shall we?"

[You nod and join the kids in the fun as it fades to black]
