[Scene opens at your home]

[SFX: Door knocking]

"Hey buddy, I kind of have my hands full. Mind opening the door for me?"

[SFX: Door opening]

"Thanks, I appreciate it."

[SFX: Door closing]

"Now, where do you want me to put these boxes?"

[You point at a direction.]

"Thanks, I'll just leave them right...here."

[SFX: Boxes slamming]

"Whew, talk about a workout."

[Pause]

"Don't worry, It's not all Pokémon cards. I also got the first few seasons of Pokémon as well. I wasn't sure if you had the series or movies, so I just went with taking the series."

[You mention that she must really love this franchise]

"Well, you also forget how savage Ash was in the beginning. I mean, he was ruthless."

[Pause]

"Oh, I forgot to mention. Did you get the card?"

[You show her the Pokémon card]

"Woah. Man, your friend wasn't kidding. This really is a 2004 Pokémon EX Team Rocket Returns Holo Torchic Gold Star Card."

[She looks at it closely]

"Hmmm...although it isn't in mint condition. It would still be worth a pretty penny."

[You say your are not going to sell it]

"Well of course you are not. A card this rare...I would even say invest in a safe deposit box."

[Pause]

"I mean, that's just me. You don't have to of course."

[You ask if she has any good cards]

"Nothing too major. A few Charizard cards, A Blastoise and a Suicune. Compared to your rare card though, I bet it can't hold a candle though."

[Pause]

"So anyway, anything in particular you want to do?"

[SFX: Shuffling DVD's]

"Ah, so you want to watch something together. I could do that."

[You ask if there were any Pokémon movie she wants to watch or doesn't have?]

"Pokémon movies? No worries, I have them all. So don't have to worry about giving me a movie I don't have."

[She opens one of the boxes]

"That being said, my favorite will still have to be the third one."

[Pause]

"I know, there's no real Pokémon battle. Nor is there any really any "End of the world" kind of mentality. There is however a heartwarming plot."

[Pause]

"Something about a boy trying to save his mom. If that isn't the most Wholesome story, I don't know what is."

[You agree]

"So, any favorite Pokémon or character?"

[You say Team Rocket]

"I guess I can see that. Sometimes the villains can be really fun. I guess Team Rocket was still an enjoyable villains."

[Pause]

"Not gonna lie thought, James was probably one of my first crushes. He seemed so funny and cool."

[You smirk a little]

"Hey, what's so funny?"

[You say your first crush was Jessie]

"No...way. Jessie was your first crush?"

[You nod]

"It's funny how this ended up. First the two of us playing 7 minutes in heaven, next the two of us sharing first crushes."

[Pause]

"Ok, granted. You had to be bribed in order to take part in this. All things considered, I'm glad I at least have someone to open up to. Even if it's over our favorite shows and crushes."

[Pause]

"I know, with nerdy things having more of a social norm, you probably think I wouldn't worry about that."

[You look in confusion]

"For the Jocks and players; you'd be right. The Cheerleaders however, their still in the belief that popular girls can't enjoy anything nerdy."

[You ask if the jocks really like nerdy stuff?]

"For some of them, yeah. Take our QB. He's a die hard fan of some anime."

[You ask for examples]

"Well, he mentions he likes Konosuba and The Rising of the Shield Hero. His favorite however is Komi can't Communicate."

[You chuckle a little]

"I know, a "Slice of life" anime. It's really good though. Apparently, Komi reminds him of his younger sister. She apparently really had a rough time coming out of her shell. To paraphrase a saying."

[Pause]

"It's at least good that I have them to rely on. They are all really cool. I mean, it's fine that they have something that isn't too toxic to use to de-stress."

[You ask if they are all cool with your hobby]

"Of course. The whole stereotype of "Jocks being bullies" isn't as accurate today as it was years ago. Just between us, many of their parent's are really super nerdy. I mean, DnD for decades kind of nerdy."

[Pause]

"I mean, some of them don't really like sports. They do however love supporting their kids. It's nice to see we came a bit of the way from all those years ago."

[You ask was their any other reason for her coming here]

"Oh, right. There was another reason, not just hanging out with you."

[Pause]

"Don't get me wrong, I think your a swell guy. I just find that, I have to be honest with you. Since one of few people who knows that I still like this nerdy kind of stuff...I've, been thinking."

[You ask about what?]

"Well, now hear me out. What if hypothetically we start dating?"

[You ask why?]

"It's just...I kind of felt something after being with you. Almost like I can be completely honest with you. Granted, if you want to just be friends I'm ok with that."

[She gets closer]

"I just can't help but have feeling for you. I don't mean just as friends too."

[She blushes a little]

"If it's a little too weird I do understand, Just know this is how I feel. I kind of...sorta like you."

[You say you like her too]

"So when you say you like me, do you mean that-"

[SFX: kissing gently]

"Oh, you kissed me."

[You apologize]

"Oh, no, no no. Don't apologize. I was just caught off guard. I actually kind of liked it. Maybe you want to continue. Over a Pokémon Movie?"

[Pause]

"I know, but that was the other reason I came over. Just to watch these movies or shows with you. The nerd I ended up falling for."

[She kisses you gently]

"So, shall we?"

[You nod]

"All right. What do you want to do first, Watch some Pokémon, or have a battle?"

[YOu say watch a movie]

"*Giggles* Ok, movie it is, let's enjoy this together...Boyfriend."

[You blush as she giggles]

"I think I can get use to seeing you flushed like that."

[She kisses you again as it fades to black]
