Writer's Notes:
Hello everyone! I'm happy to share my first male speaker script. Seeing a couple of male VAs adapt a few of my scripts, I decided to try something a little different and write a script based on one of my favorite heroes.
Besides being a weeb, I am also a massive dork and a huge Superman fan. I know a lot of people think he's boring or that they prefer something darker. And a lot of media potrays him as a angry punchy boy. But growing up with series like JLU and Smallville, Superman is the definition of what a hero should be. He is humble, caring, and always willing to put others before himself. He could decide to be a king and rule the entire planet (cough Injustice cough), but he chooses to be a simple reporter looking to help people because that's what makes him happy.
I think this comic perfectly illustrates who Superman is and why he chooses to be a hero. It is also the inspiration for this script. Though I didn't want to make my story too dark. And for any comic book fans, this script doesn't connect to any particular storyline but it does take bits from Smallville and other references.
Anyways, I'll stop nerd rambling otherwise I'll end up writing an entire book. This is my first attempt at a M4A script so it may be a bit rougher than my other scripts. But if you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to let me know.
PS: Superman and Lois and My Adventures with Superman. Really good shows that I highly recommend.
Just a couple of rules regarding this script:
Please remember to give credit. A simple mention of my username (u/Lalo_ASMR_Alt) or just Lalo ASMR in the description is fine.
Post the audio on whatever platform you like, whether it is free or monetized. But please share with me the final audio, either a public link or an audio file if a public link is unavailable. It lets me know which scripts are well received and helps me plan for future scripts.
Editing and modifying is ok and encouraged, including switching the gender of the speaker and/or audience. I'm always open to new ideas and suggestions.
