If these people weren’t so caught up in details such as blessings or bloodlines, they could’ve had my parents simple replaced on the throne instead of having them killed and trying to manipulate me to be their puppet ruler…

Instead, they’re having to deal with this mess! I truly do not pity them at all!

Oh, well. Soon, they’ll realise there’s no point in their complaints anyway…

That was me! I snuck a potion into their food, made sure there was a body around… and as the souls left the dogs, the commoner came back to life!

Of course, I had to hide the commoner away so that her family wouldn’t realise what had happened, but it still worked! It worked!!

Oh, no… I only used dogs because it was a commoner with unblessed blood. A royal couple with blessed blood like my parents requires a higher quality sacrifice.

I plan to use the noble gathering tomorrow as a way to gather the right amount of souls.

There will be so many self-righteous, pompous dimwits there that have some kind of blessed blood in their veins that there will be enough for both your parents and mine!

I’ll treat them the same though. I’ll mix potion in their food – the hors d'oeuvres, the crab legs, the cake – and watch them all finally do something useful with their lives, by giving them up to bring back people who actually have a heart!
