"Oh, hello dear~. How was work? Did everything go all right?"

[You nod and place your bags down]

[SFX: Slithering]

"Good~, Because have I got some good news for you~."

[She giggles as she kisses you]

"Ah~. Nothing like a pre work kiss to see you in a more...Relaxing mood~."

[You ask what's up]

"*Giggles* Well~, You knot that thing that I have been waiting for~?"

[You ask her to be more specific]

"Oh, you know; That thing~. The thing I have been waiting for for months now~?"

[You smirk a little]

"Aha~. It arrived today. Witch means, it's just going to be you...and me...and our little friends here~"

[SFX: Box slamming]

"*Giggles* Oh, don't worry honey~. We don't have to do this all at once~"

[She leans in and whispers in your ear]

"After all, doing it all at once would be too much of a strain...for the weekday~"

[She wraps you up in her tail]

"So I tell you what~, You get in something more...comfortable~ and I'll do the same. Sound like a plan~?"

[you nod eagerly]

"*Giggle* Good, see you in a while sweetie~"

[You go upstairs and get out of your work cloths and into some PJ's]

"Ah~, Just in time."

[You ask what she has planned]

"Well, since you had a very rough work day how's about I let you choose first?"

[SFX: Pages flipping]

"No need to rush. We got all day.~"

[You pick a movie]

"Ah~, Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster. A good choice. Just put that in and we'll watch our two robotic buddies ripping into that movie~."

[You ask who's your favorite of the two?]

"Who's my favorite? That's a really hard decision. Crow is so funny but Tom Servo has his moments too. So, how's about you sit down here with me as I coil up with you."

[The MST3K theme is faintly playing in the background]

"So, did you want to talk about work?"

[You ask how she knew work was rough]

[SFX: Coiling tail]

"Oh, come now dear. You can't fool me. When you have that exhausted look on your face it usually means that your boss chewed you out."

[You look down in sadness]

"No need to look so glum though. I mean, you remember the first day we met right?"

[Pause]

"Come on~, it was at your local movie theater and they were showing a bunch of classic MST3K movies. Your friends stood you up and you ended up sitting next to me."

[She wraps her arms around you]

"*Giggles* I bet you were surprised that a Lamia would be sitting next to you, let alone one who caught your attention."

[You say that wasn't what caught your attention]

"Oh, it wasn't that. Then what I wonder initially caught your attention~?"

[You say it was the sports jersey]

"*Blushing* Oh...my old sports jersey. *Laughing Nervously*"

[You ask if there was something wrong?]

"Oh, nothing's wrong. It's just..."

[She sighs heavily]

"I always wanted to be a little...flirtatious with you, and thinking back to when I was a massive Tomboy *Under her breath* and arguably still am *Back to normal* It just makes me feel like I truly can't be Beautiful. If that makes any sense."

[You say you think so]

"I mean yeah, I rarely wear dresses. *Laughs a little* Like that one time where I was invited to a Tea shop. At first I thought it was going to be boring, but turns out; the owner was a USMC. He just decided to make a teashop one day."

[She laughs a little more]

"*Sigh* I was surprised of his strict dress code until I found out that little fact. I begrudgingly agreed on the condition that he tell me some stories."

[She stretches a little]

"It was kind of interesting to hear some old tales. Honestly, I was worried at first that he was going to hold some prejudice against me for being a Lamia."

[Pause]

"Turns out, as long as I meet the dress code, he was cool. I still remember what he said to me at first:"

[She acts like she's standing in attention]

"Is that your dress?" I responded with a quick yes. "Is that your boyfriend?" Yes. "That the only tie he has?" Yes sir. "ETA's about five minutes, is that good for you?" Yes."

[She started laughing]

"I thought I was going in basic with him. Afterwards he looked me dead in the eye after telling a few stories and simply said "So long as you follow the dress code, I welcome anyone here." I was taken back."

[You ask why?]

"Well, with that into I though he was going to really go after me. I guess so long as you follow the basic rules he was super chill."

[She chuckles again]

"That being said though, I cannot see myself going to any other teashop afterwards. Dress code and all."

[She chuckles a little as her tail wraps around you lovingly]

"So tell me, what brought up that memory out of curiosity~?"

[You say it was the first day you fell in love with her.]

"Oh, the wearing the dress or the Jersey?"

[You say just being her quirky self]

"Quirky? Me? Well...I...*Starts to blush*"

[You ask if she's all right?]

"It's just...it reminded me of the time you introduced me to your sibling. They were so enamored by me, and they used the same phrase of Quirky."

[You mention your siblings occupation]

"Okay, granted. Being a veterinarian doesn't help. I was actually surprised when they asked me if there were any similarities between Lamias and snakes?"

[Pause]

"Turns out, they were worried that the room might of been too cold for me. Considering snakes are normally cold blooded. I just laughed it off and simply said "If I needed a blanket, I'll be sure to let you know."

[She snuggles next to you]

"They were down to earth though. Welcoming me with open arms. It felt...nice."

[Pause]

"I know, we come a long way and all that. It's just...I was worried your family wouldn't like me."

[You say they loved you]

"I mean, I know that now. Maybe it's something we all worry about. Guys getting approval from their GF's Dad, and Girls getting approval from their BF's Mother."

[She gently kisses you]

"*Giggles* That being said though, I think I lucked out with your mother. Sweet and gentle, but can go off if her children are harmed."

[Pause]

"Then again, that could just be motherly intuition. Your dad on the other hand; the one time I crossed him...*Shutters* You could hear a pin drop."

[You ask if she was dealt with "The Lecture"]

"Yeah, I was dealt with by "The Lecture"

[Pause]

"When you first warned me about that, I though "Pfft, there's no way a man could lecture you for a solid three hours" and I was right...*Moans* He lectured me for six hours."

[Pause]

"How can one man talk about the same mistake for six hours?! I mean, SIX HOURS?! That's insane! No offense to your dad an all."

[You say none taken]

"*Sigh* I'm just glad that he ended with a "I'm at least grateful that you notify the Fire Dept. before it got worse."

[She giggles as you two continue watching the movie]

"I guess he just considers me family now. I mean, he probably wouldn't be that mad if he didn't consider me a part of the family right?"

[You nod saying he was just worried about you]

"Yeah, I can still remember your mom after that little fire. When I though I was on the fence of being approved by her and not approved she came running up to me seeing if I was all right. Then she just hugged me."

[Pause]

"It was...good. Even though I only let you hug me, and play with my tail~"

[She giggles as she kisses you passionately]

"I'm just glad I met all the requirements. It's nice to know, I have a "human family" that I can rely on."

[SFX: Kissing]

"Thanks...for everything. So, before I forget,"

[SFX: Shaking candy box]

"Junior mint?"

[You two share candy and watch the rest of the movie as it fades to black]
