Sound of big chamber doors closing as they walk through the hall.

Girlfriend: Annoyed sigh.

Girlfriend: "Hmm?"

Girlfriend: "Oh sorry, what were you saying?"

Girlfriend: "No I'm fine, just tried and bored out of my mind."

Girlfriend: "Yeah that meeting was too long."

Girlfriend: "And I still don't get why we had to be there in the first place."

Girlfriend: "Well I was there because I'm assigned to be your eternal protector, wherever you go, I follow."

Girlfriend: "But I don't know why you were asked to attend."

Girlfriend: "You weren't even addressed in the 2 hours we were in there, not once."

Girlfriend: "I know you're the hero, but that doesn't mean they can just waste your time."

Girlfriend: "I thought they might send you on a quest or something, or maybe there would be a royal festival, but no nothing."

Girlfriend: "Yes, I know my left foot started to twitch halfway through the meeting, it's because I was about to drop-kick everyone in the room!"

Girlfriend: "I don't care what they think, I'm only here for you."

Girlfriend: "I could tell, you looked like you were about to fall asleep, I was worried your head would slam into the table."

Girlfriend: "Of course, I wouldn't have let that happen, nothing but my lips may grace your face."

Girlfriend: Giggles. "I don't know how I kept a straight face through it."

Girlfriend: "I can't ignore the meetings, again I'm your protector."

Girlfriend: "I agree that the idea of the hero needing protection is...weird, but I think I know why the queen assigned me to you."

Girlfriend: Flustered. "Well...let's just say that I had a crush on you before she assigned me."

Girlfriend: "Yeah, and things started to click when I saw her give me a smirk after we got together."

Girlfriend: "I'm serious, she literally gave me a 'go get 'em tiger' smirk that day!"

Girlfriend: "But even with the meetings, it is so much better to be your protector."

Girlfriend: "When I used to train the troops I obviously had to do things with other people, and you know that I'm not really a people person."

Girlfriend: "As your protector, I only really have to talk to you, I'm not required to talk to anyone else."

Girlfriend: "Well when I originally became a knight I didn't think I would be training troops, so I'm glad things worked out the way they did."

Girlfriend: Laughs. "I'm saying that as your girlfriend, not your protector."

Girlfriend: Giggles. "Yes, I'm serious!"

Girlfriend: "You think I cuddle up to you at night for fun?"

Girlfriend: "No I don't do it because of the warmth either, though that is a nice bonus."

Girlfriend: "Even if I still had to train the knights, you would still make my days so much better."

Girlfriend: "I love you!!"

Sound of them stopping to kiss.

Girlfriend: "Hmm, I don't know, I think I'll need another kiss or two to be sure."

Sound of the listener kissing her three more times.

Girlfriend: "That was three..."

Girlfriend: Giggles. "I'm just messing with you."

They continue walking down the hallway.

Girlfriend: "So, we still have the rest of the evening to spend together, what do you want to do?"

Girlfriend: "I don't know, I think it would be dark by the time we got there."

Girlfriend: "Mm, we've been there two days ago."

Girlfriend: "Uh I dunno really, let me think."

Girlfriend: "We could go to the library, maybe they have more of that series you like."

Girlfriend: "The park?"

Girlfriend: "Yeah, the one with the statue."

Girlfriend: "You're right, that one gets pretty crowded sometimes."

Girlfriend: "Urgh, I'm too tired to think."

Girlfriend: "Maybe we'll just go cuddle in be-"

Girlfriend: "Wait, I know what we can do."

Girlfriend: "How about we go to Bella Lake?"

Girlfriend: "It's relatively close and we both love it there."

Girlfriend: "Aww, come on, I promise I won't go so fast this time?"

Girlfriend: "I know I said that last time, but this time I mean it."

Girlfriend: "You're the hero, you've engaged in horseback combat before, a little speed isn't going to hurt you."

Girlfriend: "Oh, I guess that makes sense, can't really go fast if you're trying to fight."

Girlfriend: "But how about it?"

Girlfriend: "I promise I won't go fast, extra cheery on top."

Girlfriend: "I don't have a literal cherry on me, but we can stop at the bakery on the way and get cherry cake."

Girlfriend: "I'm sure they're still open, and I can make use of the discount I have there."

Girlfriend: "Well the owner ships us really really hard, so she gave us a permanent discount."

Girlfriend: "No you weren't there, it was when I got pretzels a few weeks back."

Girlfriend: Nervous laugh. "You'd be surprised at how many people ship us..."

Girlfriend: "Nothing!"

Girlfriend: "So what do you think hero?~"

Girlfriend: "Sitting by the lakeside, your girlfriend feeding you cherry cake as we watch the sunset, doesn't that sound amazing?~"

Girlfriend: "I knew you'll say yes~"

Girlfriend: "Well come along then, we don't want to miss the sunset."

Girlfriend: "True, we could stargaze if we do miss it."

Girlfriend: "Or we can do both if we don't miss it, so let's go!"

Girlfriend: Gasps. "Hey! why are you carrying me?"

Girlfriend: "I'm the protector here."

Girlfriend: "My feet are fine, I'm used to standing guard."

Girlfriend: "I didn't say to stop."

Girlfriend: "After all, not everyone gets to be in the hero's arms, so I'm gonna enjoy it~"
