[Scene opens up in a dark and dreary cave]

[SFX: Water dripping]

"*Sniffing* A human...a single human...Not sure I've seen one wondering in these caves alone for quite some time."

[You yell as the beast hears it]

"Tell me human, What brings you in this cave alone?"

[You ask for the Dragon Monarch]

"A dragon monarch you say~. Tell me, what do you want with the dragon Monarch?"

[You wish to ask it a question]

"*Powerful laugh* A question? This is quite a treat."

[SFX: earth shaking]

"I bet your probably wondering where I am right now. Am I right?"

[You reply with a yes while looking at the black abyss]

"Careful, human. For if you stare into the abyss long enough. The abyss stares back."

[You see two bright green eyes appear]

[SFX: Dragon growling and bones cracking]

"Ah, there we go. Now I'm in the full swing of things. So tell me human; what exactly do you wish to ask of me?"

[You ask if there is any permission to make for dating a dragon girl]

"*Laughing* Young Human, to ask me such a question. This has got to be the second time a human has asked me this question in such a short time."

[You ask second?]

"Yes, second. For you see; a human no different from you came in here approximately a month ago. Expecting a similar...uh, what is it you humans call it again?"

[You mention a blessing?]

"That's it, a blessing. *Sighs* apparently there has been a rumor going around that "In order for a human and a dragon to be an official couple they have to get the blessing form the current Dragon Monarch." It isn't true though."

[You ask if that means they won't give the blessing]

"Look, kid. You seem like a nice human. So long as you honor her...*they lean in* I'm assuming it's a "Her" only because of what happened to some...dragon boy's in the past."

[Pause]

"I'll cut to the chase, Half the Dragon boys were sent off to war, while the other half tried to plan a Coup d'état."

[You ask what happened to those dragons]

"Well half of them were sentence to death. The other...I cannot say, although I heard rumors that the strongest has tried to plan his "revenge" on me, and joined the Demon Lord's vast growing army."

[You say that seems kind of dumb]

"Hey, I never said his plan was smart. Anyways, What's the young dragon's name?"

[You mention the Dragon girl's name]

"Is that the name she gave you?"

[You ask what do they mean]

"Well, some dragon's often give names to human's. Fearing some repercussions of humans persecutions them."

[You apologize]

"Oh, no need to apologize human. If anything, the whole profile of dragons isn't too far from the truth. Well, at least long ago."

[You sit down knowing this might take a while]

"Don't worry, I won't bore you with the details of a long...and somewhat boring story. I'll just mention more of the reason why human's fear us."

[The dragon sits down]

"You see, there is some of us that believe that humans are like...puppies. Worthy of our love and compassion. Then there are some who see Human's as parasites. Those who wish to destroy humans."

[SFX: Scratching]

"So, when dragon's use to kidnap human's and more specifically "Fair maidens" weather that be princesses or beautiful woman, It was often used as a bribe for Gold and gems."

[The old Dragon leans in]

"Ever wonder how exactly many of them get their hoards in the first place?"

[Pause]

"Well, now a days most "Modern Dragons" Just do it for two reasons. One is to protect the young and fair maidens from immediate danger. And the other..."

[You can tell the Dragon is ashamed to admit this]

"We...kind of have to make a quota for our local tax collectors. If they fail the quota, their Dragon title can get revoked."

[You ask if there is anything you can do about it]

"Sadly, there is not. I use to have such power...most of it goes to the people now. Ironically the same one's who go to rescue the maidens are the same who force us to do this."

[You say it's wrong]

"Well, it maybe true. But we all have to pay our taxes. In one way or another."

[Pause]

"Anyways, I cannot blame people wanting to live that fantasy of "Slaying the dragon" and rescuing the beautiful princesses."

[The dragon scratches their chin]

"Although if it's just to show how strong they are to the other guys, I know of many dragons who would "Take a dive" as it were. Just to have them impress their fellow mates."

[You ask would dragons really do that?]

"Why, of course we would. There are very few knights that could actually "Vanquish" a dragon. Were not one's to take away their dignity or pride. I mean, if we stripped them of their "Masculinity", how do you think they could hope to protect the one's they love?"

[Pause]

"Exactly, dragons may be cruel at times. We however are not that heartless."

[He leans in]

"Apologies for getting off track. Maybe you could tell me a bit of what your "Dragon Girlfriend" looks like?"

[You describe a Tomboy dragon girl]

"Tomboy dragon girl...um...by any chance; when facing her; did she come across as a bit-"

[You question like a crybaby?]

"I was going to say childish, but let's go with crybaby."

[You nod]

"Hmmm...In her dragon form, how tall would you say she is?"

[You give the estimate size]

"I see...I can at least tell you this, the name you gave her. It is her actual name."

[You ask if they know her?]

"Well, I haven't meet her personally, I did however fought alongside her father."

[You ask for the fate of her father]

"Oh, well..."

[You look down saddened]

"No, good knight it isn't that. It's just...were not on really speaking terms."

[They lean in]

"I think he's not too happy that I put him in a "Retirement Home For Old Warriors and Knights." He hasn't written to me since."

[You ask if he's at least alive]

"According to his wife he is. Have you meet her?"

[You nod]

"Oh...well then. If that's the case;"

[SFX: Scribbling on a scroll]

"This is the directions to meet him. I'm sure he would love to meet you."

[SFX: Evil chuckle]

"My apologies, I know how protective father's can be when their daughters are involved."

[Pause]

"I will bless you on the journey your about to embark on. Knowing him, he can be very...protective of his youngest daughter."

[You ask how they know]

"Old dragon intuition young knight. Trust me, He'll be ready for you."

[You ask what is he like]

"Well, he can be...tenacious, but not crude. Best try to talk to him after he eats."

[They lean in one last time]

"That being said however, I cannot officially give you my blessing."

[You sigh and look down]

"But...I can un-officially give you my blessing with meeting this "Old and Powerful Dragon Man". I know the title's cringe, but it was the only one that wasn't copyrighted."

[Pause]

"Anyways, best of luck on your journey knight. Be ready, and good luck. *Under their breath* Your going to need it. *Back to normal* Farwell."

[You leave the cave as it fades to black]

Note: Another experiment of a script. Not sure if this one is any good, I'd figure at least test it out. Hope you have a lovely day/night.
