[Scene opens up with you in the middle of a Pokémon battle]

[SFX: Poke ball opening]

"*Sigh* Of course, he'll start with one of the weaker Pokémon. It's not like I'm waiting here for another chance."

[SFX: Pokémon cry]

"I know, he never likes to start with me, even when I was on his main roster."

[SFX: Pokémon cry]

"It just get's kind of annoying, even when he said that he'll use me more frequently. It's just a real bother."

[SFX: Pokémon cry]

"Jealous? Me? Come on dude, if I was jealous of using his old Pikachu, don't you think I wouldn't be this Blount about it? I'd like to think that I'm more subtle than that."

[The first round finishes but Gardevoir doesn't notice]

"Anyways, If I were going to actually win a match, I'd have to at least get some experience."

[You call Gardevoir as the next Pokémon]

"I mean, it's not like this kid is a real challenge and all."

[You call Gardevoir again]

"I mean, all his Pokémon seem weak enough that even you can take them down. No offense."

[You ask your Pikachu to use thunderbolt on Gardevoir]

[SFX: Pikachu cry and Thunderbolt]

"Yow! He you little rodent, you nearly hurt me there."

[SFX: Pikachu cry]

"Wait, I'm up?"

[The Pikachu nods]

"All right! Now what kind of Pokémon am I facing today?"

[SFX: Poke ball opening]

[It's a pidgey]

"A pidgey? Really? This is the Pokémon that I'm going to face? This little runt?!"

[The trainer yells to use sand attack]

[SFX: Sand Attack]

"AH! RIGHT IN MY EYES! DAMMIT! DUDE, WHAT'S YOUR DEAL?"

[You ask your Gardevoir to use Confusion.]

"Confusion? Forget that! This little runt really pissed me off! DISARMING VOICE."

[The pidgey dodge by using fly]

"HEY, GET BACK HERE AND FIGHT LIKE A POKEMON!"

[You ask her to calm down]

"I am calm. Perfectly...calm."

[The Pikachu is staring daggers at her]

"*Sigh* Fine, What move do you want me to do...master?"

[The pidgey uses fly]

"Wait, is that it? That whole big hullabaloo and that's the best you got?"

[SFX: Pidgey cry]

"Wait, what level are you at kid?"

[SFX: Pidgey cry]

"3?! Your only level 3?!"

[Your gardevoir stares daggers at you]

"Your having me fight a level 3 Pidgey?!"

[Pause]

"That's it, Psybeam."

[She uses the psybeam and knocks out the Pidgey.]

"If you really want to boost my confidence, you should really try a harder Pokémon master."

[SFX: Poke ball opening]

"I mean, it's not like this Whimpey trainer even has a Pokémon that would be powerful enough to take me on."

[Pause]

"Judging by your silence the next Pokémon isn't a weak one."

[She turns around and see's a Gengar]

"A...A...A Gengar?!"

[SFX: Gengar cry]

"Scared? Me? Come on. It's not like the last time I fought against a Gengar was..."

[You she her shaking and ask her to return]

"Huh? Return? Well, you heard my trainer; better get a move-"

[The other trainer yells the move "Mean look"]

[SFX: Gengar cry]

"*Thud* Ow, what was that?"

[you explain what happened]

"So, he decided to use mean look huh? Welp, that about sums up my luck."

[SFX: Cracking knuckles]

"Contrary to what you have been told, or may of heard; not all Gardevoirs just know Psychic or Fairy moves."

[SFX: Gengar Cry]

"Fair point, I don't expect you to just know only ghost moves. How's about we make this a little more interesting."

[SFX: Gengar cry]

"Two moves, not counting your "Mean look". Last Pokémon standing wins."

[SFX: Gengar cry]

"If I win, you'll have to tell all your friends that you lost to a Psychic Pokémon, despite the type advantage."

[SFX: Gengar cry]

"Well, I cannot say for sure. What would you like if you win? It's only fair that you choose your own reward."

[SFX: Gengar Cry]

"Ice cream? Really? That's what you want?"

[SFX: Gengar cry]

"Oh, that new place that opened up. The really fancy place...mind giving me just one second?"

[She pulls out a Rotom phone]

"Let's see here...was there any particular flavor or special you want?"

[SFX: Gengar cry]

"The kitchen sink? Let's see here-woah! That's fifty thousand Pokédollars. What is this thing made of; Gold?"

[She looks through the list]

"Yikes. The stuff that they put in here. *Sigh* Well, I guess I can't go back now. It's a deal. Provided your willing to agree of course."

[SFX: Gengar cry]

"Than let's start."

[Your frightened because you know your going to pick up the tab]

"Master relax. I got this. More importantly though, do you trust me?"

[You nod]

"Than let's do this."

[The two of you stand off]

"*Breaths in, than out* let's begin."

[The Gengar uses shadow ball and hits her directly]

"Ugh. Not bad. I have to admit, I'd never thought that a Gengar can hit so strong. I have to ask, what level are you?"

[The gengar laughs]

"What's so funny? I think it's a valid question. *under her breath* granted, something I should of asked sooner."

[SFX: Gengar cry]

"Wait, your how much?"

[Pause]

"How's that snot nose kid giving commands to such a high level Pokémon?"

[SFX: Gengar cry]

"Brother? That kid is the younger brother of your master? There's no way that's legal."

[You shrug]

"All right, I'll roll with it. Might as well do my "First" move. ICY WIND!"

[The gengar gets a little buffed but not too bad,]

"Okay, your move."

[The gengar uses Poison Jab and she gets poisoned]

"Ugh...*Coughing*"

[You try to call the match]

"Don't...you...dare...It's still my move."

[She stands up slowly than kneels coughing perfectly]

"Damn, that was a really rough one."

[The gengar laughs]

"Hey, I said the first two moves right?"

[Pause]

"You still haven't figured it out have you?"

[She starts laughing but stops and coughs badly]

"No, no. I'm fine...I'm going to be even better when my next move hits you."

[The air around stops as everything goes silent]

"I had a feeling something like this might happen. So a few moves ago I decide to cast a move knowing that it would be my ace in the hole."

[The wind starts to pick up]

"Too bad, your going to lose to a psychic move."

[The wind starts picking up blowing even harder followed by silence]

"Future sight."

[Pause]

"It's over."

[The attack roars and misses Gengar completely]

"Still don't get it do you? I wasn't aiming for you."

[The ground starts to shake as a rock slide caused by the frozen ground slams on the Gengar]

"Game...set...*Cough* Match."

[She nearly collapse but you catch her]

"Woah, um...I guess I finally won my first match huh?"

[You nod]

"Tell me master, does this mean I get a little reward~?"

[You say you'll go to hot topic later this week]

"No, I don't mean hot topic, although I was eyeing some boots earlier."

[Pause]

"I mean this~"

[She leans in for a kiss but you spray her]

"Wha-hey! What was that for?"

[You say it's a full restore]

"A full restore? How were you able to afford a full restore?"

[You say you found it]

"A likely story. Like anyone would just leave a full restore lying around."

[Pause]

"Anyways the real reward that I want is this~."

[She leans in and kisses you]

"If it isn't too much trouble as well...maybe the two of us can go on a date?"

[You nod]

"Wonderful. I look forward to our victory date."

[You give a cringe look]

"Ok, we can workshop what we'll call it. Anyways, I look forward to it."

[You agree]

"But first, mind picking me up?"

[You ask why?]

"Well, your kind of in the way of me getting up."

[you apologize and get out of her way]

"It's ok, I don't mind it usually. I am looking forward to this. Just the two of us."

[She giggles as it fades to black]
