Summary: Listener is an executioner/assassin - the infamous Bright Blade of Losoria - and finds themself in front of a captured royal from a kingdom - Narrator. However, rather than physically torture them, Listener gives Narrator a truth potion so Listener can find out why Narrator was captured so close to Losoria. The truth potion ends up making Narrator spill some secrets that have been buried under the disguise of hatred. Though the hurt is still there, the heart knows what it wants, and unfortunately for Narrator, their heart is about to speak for them.

Summary: After having been "mysteriously" freed from Losoria's dungeon, Narrator meets Listener at a masquerade ball. When they need to dance with each other to avoid unwanted social interactions, Narrator begins to question Listener about Narrator's time being held captive in Losoria. This brings forth more discussion about feelings, and where they stand with each other.

Summary: Taking place a while after the masquerade, Narrator has called for a meeting between three kingdoms to sign a peace treaty. When one of the kingdoms decides to instead use this opportunity to assassinate Narrator and Listener, the idea of a peace treaty is thrown out the window. Though Narrator and Listener win, their injuries need tending to, giving them time to talk about their rocky relationship and sort out their feelings.

Summary: The Twice-Dead Crown's wedding is a crowded event, so Listener sneaks away for some fresh air. Narrator finds them and they both decide that no one will notice if they spend some time away from the festivities. While spending some time together, both realize that there is no better time to confront their emotions for each other than now.
