[Scene opens in your dorm room]

[SFX: Nighttime ambiance/a gentle night breeze]

[Pause]

[SFX: The Speaker manifesting - Hell magic]

[As you try and sleep in your cramped little dorm room, you feel the gentle cool of the night air dip to freezing. A presence looks over your bed]

“Hmhmhm… I know you’re awake, Human… Your thoughts are what have summoned this humble demon into your cramped little college dorm. Now… face me.”

[SFX: The Listener turning in bed to face Cas]

[You roll over excitedly and, to your delight, the massive creature looming over you is clearly a demon. His skin is a vibrant red, his eyes glint in the dark, and you can see horns pushing through his hair]

[Pause!! <3]

[His wicked grin fades slightly as you happily greet him]

“Oh, uh… Hi? I’m… glad but confused as to why you’re so happy to have a demon in your home… Kind of here for your soul and all…”

[Pause]

“Well, sure, lots of people want to talk to a demon and ask questions until the demon actually proves to be real! But then, bloop, get the priest, Aunt Gertrude tried to flirt with Lucifer and is crab-walking in the kindergarten again! If you were sane, you’d be praying right now.”

[Pause <3]

“...Sorry, did you just say that I’m a handsome lad?”

[Pause <3]

[He rolls his eyes and shakes his head]

“OK, OK, how drunk are you? I peered into your life once you started thinking about me and, I must admit, I am fascinated by you. The person everyone considers the coolest on campus, and yet you largely keep to yourself. No matter who it is or how hard they try, you turn down anyone that tries to ask you out. Enlighten me… Do you even have a type?”

[Pause]

“Yeah? OK, who or what is your type?”

[Pause]

[He looks at you blankly for a moment while you smile at him]

“...Demons. Wow, uh…”

[Pause? <3]

[He looks down at you, baffled]

“O-Oh, uh…? I-I, ahh…”

[Pause <3]

[You see him visibly gulp, probably glad he’s already red]

“Wow… You really ARE the coolest person here. I’ve never met a single human that would look a guy my size in the eye and flirt like that, much less a demon my size. But I guess I should have guessed you might be into demons, given that goth look you are absolutely murdering, geeze, uh… Man, I almost wish I was an Incubus so I’d have some clue how to flirt back…”

[Pause]

[He gives you a somewhat wry grin]

“Yeah, I guess it is pretty obvious we’re flirting with each other, isn’t it? Tsk, tsk, tsk… Naughty human.”

[Pause?]

“What… am I going to do about it? Wh-? Buh-?!”

[Pause - Tsundere Panic]

[He flounders for a moment before you see the tsundere defense mechanism kick in at long last and he manages a gruff:]

“W-Why do I have to ‘do’ anything about it, huh?? What are YOU going to do about it?!”

[Pause?]

[He gawps at you for a moment while you wait expectantly]

“...You’re… asking me out on a coffee date?”

[Pause]

“...Me?”

[...Pause.]

“And this isn’t some weird prank-?”

[PAUSE!]

“Hey! Don’t yell at me for sneaking into your room, I’m a demon! You were the one that kept hoping we were real and that you could talk to one! So, I answered your summons, and now you’re looking at me like I’m the one that needs to worry about my soul being corrupted.”

[Pause <3]

[He huffs, glaring at the ground]

“Don’t you start offering me cuddles and kisses, Human… You’d be opening yourself up to a potentially terrible fate… After all, demons are known to be terribly jealous, possessive, and demanding. I will sit on the bed with you though. I guess.”

[SFX: The bed creaking significantly]

[Pause <3]

[He facepalms with a muffled laugh]

“Of course, you’re fine with that, why wouldn’t you be? … Oh, you’ve climbed into my lap.”

[Pause~]

[He rolls his eyes but you can hear his heart pounding through his strong chest]

“Mmhm, you wanted to see if I had goat legs? Nope, sorry, you’ll have to summon a different demon to fulfill that particular desire.”

[Pause]

“M-More than happy with me-? Wait, hold on, this can’t be real… No human has ever made me feel this mixed up…”

[Pause…]

[He lets out an exasperated groan as you pat his horns gently]

“Human, those are my horns…”

[Pause]

“What? You don’t want to be called ‘Human’? Pfft, how about ‘Malice’, then?”

[Pause <3 <3 <3]

[Your new demon friend looks at you in disbelief]

“...Of course, you would love that nickname. Why not? Why would anything make sense about you?”

[Pause?]

[He snorts]

“My name is Castiel. Cas to my friends… Eugh, I guess to you, too.”

[Pause?]

[How quickly his tone changes almost throws you out of character. Almost]

“No, no, no! I do want to go on the date! I do want cuddles and kisses, I promise!” “

[Pause]

“W-Wh-?!”

[He grumbles and growls for a moment before he mutters:]

“... I’m sorry I was an asshole… I’ll… rackum frackum… be better…”

[Pause <3]

[You give him a little smooch on the cheek and he rumbles in… you think, pleasure. His somewhat permanently grouchy expression makes it hard to tell]

“Stop that! Don’t kiss me on the cheek, I came here to damn your soul!”

[Pause~]

“NO, you absolutely cannot just take your pants off and give me something else instead! Stop! Stop that, gah! You humans make us look positively angelic sometimes, you know that?”

[Pause!]

“YES, I CREPT INTO YOUR ROOM. TO STEAL. YOUR. SOUL. NOT YOUR BACKSIDE!!”

[He growls as you hush him with a finger to his lips but obediently quiets]

[Pause…]

“...I’m quieting down. Now take your finger off of my lips before I bite it clean off!”

[You do… but sneak in a little smooch while he’s grumbling]

[<3]

“Mmh?! Why?! Why do you keep hitting on me?! You kissed me on the cheek, now you’re sneaking in quick little lip kisses… I’m not an Incubus! I’m just a grunt for a demon lord here to try and make a deal so I can have your soul! But you’re just sitting on my lap, sneaking kisses, like it’s no big deal!”

[Pause <3]

[He pauses, taken aback]

“You’re… glad to have someone to cuddle and talk to? Hey, I agreed to a coffee date, not cuddles…”

[Pause?]

[He lets out a long, exasperated sigh, muttering in the infernal language under his breath]

“...Fine I guess I can stay for cuddles… IF you agree to give me your soul!”

[Pause <3]

[SFX: The bed shifting as he flops back]

“Yeah, yeah, date first… Lucifer help me, what have I gotten myself into?”

[Pause <3]

[He snorts again, trying to look annoyed but his tail flicks about like a satisfied cat’s]

“I am, in fact, very warm. I am, in fact, a large creature with big, strong arms.”

[Pause <3]

“I am NOT a ‘cutie’!, eughrlrla… Shut up and keep petting my horns.”

[<3]

“Don’t you, ‘Yes, sir’, me… Rrgh, shut up, go to sleep, and stop trying to make me like you. It’s not going to work! I might be an idiot but I’m not stupid!”

[...]

[You’re glad he’s big and red because it honestly does feel like Christmas just arrived early. 100% gothed out, but regardless]

[Pause <3]

“Rarakrlar… good night to you too, Malice… Hey, um, before you sleep, could I-?”

[You kiss him again and he responds with what you think is just demon dramatics]

“Pfahh! Just because I was going to ask for another kiss doesn’t mean you should just kiss me!”

[<3]

“Shuddup! I’m smothering you in my pecs, that’s it! Take the hug of pain, human!”

[Pause]

[This time, he lets out a whine of protest]

“I do NOT smell nice! Stop!!!”

[<3]

“Yeah, yeah, good night… You… hot goth butt…”

[Pause <3]

[You wonder how long it’ll take him to realize he got bullied into cuddles… Hopefully long enough for you to get in a good night’s sleep, for once]

Note: I don’t know why I get the sense that people will ask this, but Castiel is 6’ 4” and built like a himbo tank. His horns are curly, he hates things hanging off of them, his eyes are a blistering orange, his skin is bright red, and his hair is very curly, short, and black. He secretly is really into tabletop games, but Lucifer help you if you bring it up. He mains a rogue, surprisingly enough.
