Context: These two have always been close. The thought of calling it a "relationship" never really came across either of their minds. But they always end up spending all their time together. And they always end up in each other's arms.
One day she was texting him like usual when he sent this to her:
"There's something I want to give you. I'll be coming over tonight."
He seemed kinda nervous. She wondered what it might be... jewellery? Flowers? A kiss on the cheek?
"Headpats," he said, cradling her back under her bedsheets that night.
"You wanna give me Headpats? Is that all? Why were you so nervous about that…?"
"Well... um," he couldn't hide his cheeks flushing magenta. "I wanna give you a whole bunch like you're a puppy."
"Oh, okay. So you kind of want to treat me like a puppy and give me a few headpats?"
"Yeah. Except more than a few. Like a lot."
