[SFX: Pokémon cry]

"Hm? What do you want?"

[SFX: Pokémon cry]

"You want me to talk to our master? Can't you see I'm busy right now?"

[SFX: Pokémon cry]

"Ugh! Fine. You owe me though. Don't think that just because other trainers find you cute, that it means that you can get away with whatever you want!"

[SFX: Pokémon cry]

"Yeah, yeah. I'm going. I'm going."

[Your Gardevoir walks over to you.]

"Hey...um master?"

[You ask what's up?]

"Is...is it ok if I talk to you for a bit?"

[You say you don't have enough money for "Hot Topic"]

"Rude much. I just wanted to talk to you. You really think I would hustle you into going to Hot Topic. Especially after your massive losing streak."

[You lean your legs up again to hide your face]

"Oh, um...I'm...I'm sorry master. I know that it probably was too soon."

[You look at her with a you think? look]

"Yeah, that one was on me. Sorry."

[Pause]

"*Inner monologue* Why do these other Pokémon put me up to this. I mean, I get it. I'm the only one who can "Actually" talk to him, but not when he's like this."

[She sits beside you]

"*Sigh* look, I get that your pretty down right about now. Is there anything I could do to help you out?"

[Pause]

"Come on master. The other Pokémon and I are getting worried about you."

[You apologize to her]

"Just let us know how we could help. Seriously, anything is on the table right now."

[You ask if she's serious]

"I mean, within reason. Were not going to rob any stores for you...at least that you know of."

[You ask if he want's to know]

"Okay, so...one of your Pokémon, and I'm not saying who; kind of thought one of the treats at the store was free."

[You facepalm]

"Hey, in our defense; it was just right there."

[She gets closer to you]

"Anyways, What can I do to possibly cheer you up?"

[You ask to be left alone]

"*Sigh* You know I can't do that. I just can't leave you here."

[You ask why]

"Why? Why?! Well for starters; I know that your not ok. Drawback of being a psychic Pokémon is that you can read all of peoples thoughts. Right now, I can tell your taking all the energy you have just to not burst out in tears."

[Pause]

"Just talk to me master."

[You ask if she is just doing this to go back to her book]

"*Sigh* Okay, look. Your not wrong with that statement. I do have to admit however, after looking at you. You just need a little comfort."

[You ask why the other Pokémon don't get involved]

"Well...um...okay, could you keep this just between us?"

[You nod]

"Okay, so some of the Pokémon think that I'm closer to you. Just because we hang out a lot doesn't mean were close right?"

[Pause]

"I mean, yeah. I am the only Pokémon who can "Technically" talk to you. That doesn't mean that I'm your favorite."

[Pause]

"Trust me, I know that I'm not your favorite. *under her breath* You never send me out to fight anyways."

[You ask her why she thinks that]

"Come on master. If I was your favorite...and I'm talking big "If", Why don't you let me take care of these jerks?"

[She reads your mind]

"Come on master. You know I'm no longer allowed to hold onto any matches or lighters after the...anyways back to the topic at hand."

[You say that you didn't say anything]

"Okay, so I did read your mind on that one. In my defense however, your kind of an open book with things like this."

[You ask if there is anything that she doesn't read]

"Well, there are some personal things I don't read. For starters, who you like? What you think of when you see a cute trainer? Just to name a few."

[Pause]

"I try to respect your boundaries that you might have...that being said however, you should feel like you have to hold back any pent up emotions."

[You ask if she ever read your mind when she was a ralts]

"Well, when I was a ralts, my psychic powers were a lot weaker. Do you know how hard it was for me just to call you master? Let me just say...very hard."

[Pause]

"*Sigh* All right, there was this one time, and I do mean one time that I read your mind on what you felt about me..."

[You asked when?]

"When I was a Kirlia, I was really curious. I wanted to see how deep my psychic powers could go. I decided to read your mind and see what you thought of me."

[You asked what did she see?]

"It's kind of embarrassing, so I'll make a deal with you. I'll tell you what I saw, and in return for me explaining this...I won't tell the other Pokémon how you were crushing hard on Tulip."

[You explain that you weren't crushing on tulip]

"Oh please, master. I practically had to pick you jaw up from the ground. Never the less, we got a deal?"

[You reluctantly agree.]

"*Takes a deep breath* Okay, so...when I read your mind as a Kirlia, I wanted to know what you thought of me. What I found out was...more embarrassing."

[Pause]

"It was the first night that we slept together. I was a young ralts and there was a massive thunderstorm. I was so scared, I ended up clinging next to you."

[Pause]

"It was also around that time when I realize that I was too afraid to be in a poke ball."

[You say why was that so embaressing]

"Well for starters, you know how I make fun of your other Pokémon for being afraid of the dark? If they found out about this, they would never let me live it down."

[Pause]

"So anyways, enough about that...is there any chance that your feeling better?"

[You shrug]

"*Sigh* All right, what else do you need?"

[You ask her to be honest with you]

"Be honest with you? What do you mean by that?"

[Pause]

"All right, I can see that this is going to take some...abnormal persuasion."

[She opens her arms]

"Come on, bring it in."

[You look at her with confusion]

"Did I stutter? Bring it in."

[She pulls you into her arms and hugs you]

"*Sigh* This is nice. I could get use to this."

[You look at her with confusion]

"Uh...did you just hear that?"

[You nod slowly]

"Oh man, I was really hoping that you didn't. Whelp, guess I'll just go to that Nursery huh?"

[Your still trying to figure out what she means?]

"Well...you see...the truth is master...I...I love you."

[You say you love her too.]

"No, I don't mean that kind of love. I mean...*Sigh* Come here."

[She starts to kiss you gently]

"Now do you see master? I...*Hic* This is...what I mean when I say..."

[She covers her eyes and starts to cry]

"I know that you probably don't see me in the same way. Knowing that even a worthless Pokémon like me...you don't even have me battle trainers anymore."

[You say it isn't the reason why you don't battle with her]

"If that isn't the reason, than why master? Why don't you use me in battles anymore?"

[You dry her tears and ask if she remembers the Montenevera Gym}

"Huh? The Montenevera Gym? Ryme was the Gym leader right?"

[You nod as she tries getting her composure]

"Yeah, she was the Ghost type gym leader wasn't she?"

[Pause]

"Oh, that's right. That was the last time you had me battle. I was outmatched, but you had no other Pokémon left."

[Pause]

"I didn't want to see you forfeit so, I volunteered to be the next up to fight..."

[You say that's why?]

"I'm sorry I made you worry back then. In all fairness though, you shouldn't be bothered if I go and fight for you...after all, the best things in life are worth fighting for. Right?"

[Pause]

"So...I take it you'll be sending me to the nursery now huh?"

[You ask what is up with that again]

"Well, I have heard from the other Gardevoirs that their trainers send them there with a ditto and-"

[You interrupt her by hugging her]

"Wha-Master. What is this for?"

[You say that you would never do that to her]

"Really? You mean it Master? You would never do that to-"

[SFX: Kissing]

"Master, You...you kissed me."

[You apologize]

"Oh, no, no, no. Don't apologize...If anything, it makes me happy that you love me just as I love you."

[She laughs a little as you smile]

"Oh, I guess it's been a while since you heard me laugh."

[You nod]

"Anyways, come here master~"

[SFX: Kissing]

"So, feel better?"

[You nod]

"Good, not let's enjoy the rest of that picnic."

[You walk back to the rest of your Pokémon as it fades to black]
