[Scene opens up with you meeting Cyndir in your office]

[SFX: Footsteps and door opening]

"Oh hey boss."

[You sense that Cyndir isn't in a good mood]

"It's nice of you to come into your office at this hour."

[You mention that you always come in at lunch time]

"Valid point. It is getting close to our lunch break. *Under her breath* Not like you want to spend it with me."

[You ask if everything is all right]

"Oh yeah...just peachy."

[You as again sincerely if everting is all right]

"You really have no idea, do you?"

[You shake your head]

"All right, I'll let you know since you clearly don't get it. I saw you."

[You look in confusion]

"You heard right, I saw you. However, I didn't just see you."

[You see her getting more livid]

"I saw you with another woman."

[Pause]

"Well, say something. Anything."

[You ask her to specify]

"I get it. Because you are often training men and woman, you want me to be specific. Okay, I will."

[You can see her getting more furious]

"The woman...she kissed and hugged you."

[Pause]

"I also saw her come into your office. To which I might add, she didn't seem like she belonged there."

[You ask her if she's implying that she wasn't a trainee]

"I am most certainly implying that she isn't a trainee. She was a commoner."

[Pause]

"I know, commoners usually come into your office, but not at that hour. Care to explain?"

[You ask her what did this woman look like]

"What did she look like? Well, she looked young...pretty...kind of short."

[You asked if she had any particular features on her.]

"Well, now that you mentioned it. I did see a purple brooch on her shirt. In the shape of a butterfly."

[You started to crack up]

"Hey, what's so funny? Come on boss. This isn't like you. I hadn't seen you laugh this hard since the first day we met."

[You say this is a simple misunderstanding]

"A misunderstanding eh? Well pray tell. What exactly is a misunderstanding?"

[You try to get your composure]

"You know what? Forget it. I'm out."

[You grab her and try to calm her down]

"Wha-Hey! Let me go boss. I mean it."

[You still hold onto her]

"I mean it boss. Don't make me go full dragon on you."

[You ask her to here you out]

"Really? After laughing at me again. You expect me to hear you out? Give me one good reason why I should hear you out?"

[You say that you love her]

"You know, there was a time where I would believe that. That you loved me."

[She starts to get a little more chocked up]

"Now, I'm not so sure."

[You wipe her tears and ask her just to hear you out.]

"Okay, but if it's any funny business; consider this relationship over."

[You take a deep breath and explain that the girl in question is your mother]

"Wait...what? That...that woman who was with you was your mother?"

[You nod]

"But she looked so young. Are you sure?"

[You nod again]

"It's kind of hard to believe. No offense, but she looks younger than most of the trainee's that are here."

[You assure her]

"So, this entire time. This whole time. When you were hanging out with her. When she kissed and hugged you..."

[She sits down]

"I...I guess that's it then."

[You ask if anything is wrong]

"Well yeah. I just accused you of cheating on me; only to find out that it was your mother."

[You say it's fine]

"Fine? Fine?! How are you not weirded out by this?"

[Pause]

"Don't tell me, this has happened before?"

[You nod]

"*Facepalm* Oh my goodness. All right. I take it I have to do the only sensible thing that a Girlfriend would do."

[You ask what?]

"Grovel before your mother and ask for forgiveness."

[You look at her with a "Really?" look]

"What? Mothers are scary. Especially when you accuse their kids of being unfaithful."

[You say it's a simple misunderstanding]

"Misunderstanding or not, I cannot...nor will not rest until I apologize to your mothers."

[You insist it isn't necessary]

"What's the matter? Embarrassed of introducing your new "Girlfriend" to your mother?"

[You sigh and shake your head]

"Very well then. Set up the meeting, and I'll get ready to apologize to your mother."

[you reluctantly go along with this and walk out to send a note to your mother]

"*Smug* I bet she's probably happy her son is now with a beautiful maiden like me."

[She stretchers a little]

"Although, if she's anything like boss...*Shutters* I can only imagine what she would be like..."

[SFX: Slapping her face]

"Come on Cyndir, she would probably be understanding, right?...Right?"

[Fade to black]
