[Scene opens up in the middle of the night and you sitting in the kitchen]

[SFX: Footsteps]

"*Yawn* Uh...dude? What are you doing?"

[Pause]

"Why are you just sitting there?"

[Pause]

"Don't tell me, another insomniac night for you?"

[You nod]

"Bro...You got to learn to relax a little. Just take it slow and easy."

[Pause]

"*Sigh* I can see this is going to be one of those nights. All right, I'll join you then."

[SFX: Chair being pulled up]

"So, what did you try to help you out?"

[Pause]

"Come on dude, you know that when you have nights like this; there is only a few things that will help you relax enough to sleep."

[Pause]

"So, out with it; What did you try already?"

[You tell her reading]

"Reading, good good. What else?"

[You said listening to mood scapes]

"Woah, even listening to mood scapes. This must really be a rough one. Well, what else?"

[Pause]

"Spill it, I know that there must of been at least one other attempt."

[You said you even tried ASMR]

"Yikes...even the ASMR route didn't work."

[She smirks]

"Well...that was with video ASMR, what about the real thing~?"

[You ask if she knows anyone]

"Rude much. I was referring to me."

[You smirk a little]

"Hey, I think I could do ASMR pretty well."

[You ask for an example]

"Well, there is the ear cupping...and the ear rubbing...and the soft spoken..."

[You mention that she also has cursed ASMR]

"Okay, granted. The whole "Nails on chalkboard" and "Wet sox" were kind of cursed, for more than one reason. I still think I can do some tingles pretty well."

[She leans in closely]

"For example, when I whisper in your ear that "Everything will be ok", I bet it still gives you tingles like never before."

[She giggles a little]

"Okay, enough joking around. Let's see how I can get you to fall asleep."

[She gets up]

"Come on, you and me are going to the couch."

[Pause]

"I mean it, I hate to see you grumpy the next morning. So up and at 'em."

[You get up and walk to the couch]

"There we go. Now just sit here next to me."

[You sit down next to her]

"That's it. It wasen't so bad was it?"

[You nod]

"Now then, how shall I soothe your tired soul?"

[You state that's cringe]

"Okay, I'll admit. It did come off as a bit...cringe. You can't blame me though."

[She leans in closer to whisper in your ear]

"I only say the really cringe stuff for those I really care for."

[You ask if she means it]

"Of course I mean it. I'm not the type to lie just to make someone feel better."

[You thank her]

"Hey, it's what I'm here for...so how's about you just rest here...on my shoulder...as I try to help you fall asleep."

[She gently rubs you and whispers gently in your ears]

"Just relax dude, I got this."

[She gently hushes you]

"There we go bro. I got this."

[She rubs your ears gently]

"Just take it easy and rest in my arms. I'll let you rest as you go into the state of sleep."

[Pause]

"*Inner monologue* Man I hope he falls asleep soon, he looks so tired right now."

[You fall asleep in her arms]

"Woah, I guess that was quick. I guess all you need was that extra push."

[Pause]

"Strange, I figure this would of taken longer. Not that I'm complaining..."

[SFX: Kiss on forehead]

"Rest well, my sweet."

[She gently hums as it fades to black]
