[Scene opens up with the Rebel Girl driving into a parking spot]

[SFX: Car driving and stopping]

"Okay, let's see here...Just got to pick up a Slushy and then I can be on my way."

[She see's someone fighting]

"Oh, a bit of a brawl going on huh? *Snickers* Let's see who will win this one."

[After a few seconds she realizes that it isn't a proper fight but a beatdown]

"Wait, why isn't the other person putting up a fight? Something isn't right here."

[She reaches in the back of the car and brings out a bat]

[SFX: Car door opening and slamming]

"Hey punks. How's about you try fighting someone your own size?!"

[SFX: metal hitting ground]

"Or perhaps you guys don't want to be my warm-up for the day?"

[Some of them try jumping her]

[SFX: Baseball bat swinging]

"And I wonder why they never signed me up for the softball team."

[SFX: Footsteps running away]

"*Laughing* ...and stay out."

[She turns to you]

"Hey, are you ok?"

[You wipe up a bit of blood from your nose]

"Man, I can see you have taken quite the licking. Let me see."

[You try to move away]

"Hey, I'm not here to hurt you."

[You mention that you know who she is]

"Oh? My reputation proceeds me? Well, let me just start by saying this; I'm not one to attack someone when they had their clocks cleaned out already."

[She sits down next to you]

"It's not my style to do that."

[Pause]

"Okay, granted that I have had a few fights in the not to distant past, but never anyone who hadn't have it coming to them. I especially don't fight when the odds are against the person I'm beating up."

[You try to wipe up the tears as well]

"Hey, for what it's worth; you held your own back there."

[You look at her and thank her]

"Woah, um..."

[You ask if something's wrong]

"Well, you kind of have a massive shiner buddy."

[You look at her with fear]

"Just wait right here...I'll be right back."

[She walks into the convenience store...and after a while comes back out]

"I hope your ok with cherry...you can use it to help with the swelling."

[You thank her]

"Hey, I was going in for a slushy anyways. This was just a little detour."

[She sits back down next to you]

"So, what caused the fight?"

[You explain it to her]

"So those were not any bullies huh? Those guys were picking on your younger brother."

[You ask if it was the wrong thing to do]

"I don't think I'm qualified for saying if it was the right thing to do or not."

[She takes a sip of her slushy]

"I can say however, if anyone tried hurting any of my siblings; there would be consequences."

[You look at her with a little fear]

"Hey, don't sweat it. I know you wouldn't mess with any of my family. I can tell by just looking at you that your not that type."

[Pause]

"If I had to guess, you tried the peaceful route...and when that didn't work, it resulted in violence."

[You nod]

"Figures."

[You say that you could of hold your own]

"Oh, you could of hold your own? It didn't look that way to me mister..."

[You said if was one on one]

"Yeah, but in life; you can't expect the luxury of fighting someone one on one. People like that usually fight in groups."

[Pause]

"When that happens, it wise to have a backup plan. In that instance, you should of run."

[You ask why?]

"Why? In situations like that, where you clearly can't win; it's best to run."

[Pause]

"Look, in the whole "Flight or Flight" Mentality, you run first. Then when there is no other option you then fight. It only makes sense, especially if your outnumbered."

[Pause]

"Just take into consideration what I said, Ok?"

[You nod]

"Good, if you ever need a wing man to help you out in those situations, look me up."

[SFX: Scribbling noises and tear paper]

"There, sorry for hand writing my number like that. My phone currently is out of it's charge. I'll be sure to call you."

[Pause]

"Oh, before I forget, I think I should get your number. Just so I know that it's you."

[You nod and scribble your number.]

"Thanks, I'll be sure to keep an eye out."

[Pause]

"Sorry dude. Too soon?"

[You nod]

"Yeah, I just realize what I said right as I was saying it."

[Pause]

"Anyways, I'll see ya."

[She gets back into her car but sticks her head out]

"Seriously dude. If you need help just call."

[You ask why was she being so nice.]

"Why?...I don't know. Maybe because I could understand where you were coming from. That, and I knew if I was in your situation; I would want someone to rely on."

[Pause]

"Anyways, enjoy your slushy."

[She drives off as it fades to black]
