Context: You suffer from Coulrophobia (The fear of clowns), and you find out your childhood friend is a clown. In the attempt to calm you down she tells you why she's a clown...in the process confessing to you.

[Scene opens up with your childhood friend finishing up a show]

[SFX: Clown Horn]

"*Laughing* So, I'll see all you kids next time. Be sure to behave and take your medicines."

[She walks out into the back room to change]

"*Sigh of relief* Man, another flawless show. Those kids are real troopers. Now let's see what my next act is."

[SFX: Book opening]

"Let's see...just finished the children's hospital...check. Oh, next is a retirement party for Mr. and Mrs. Flopsy. Huh. Hard to believe those two are retiring. The two of them were a real dynamic duo."

[She flips through a few more pages]

"Oh right, it's also movie night with my best buddy. I hope he's ready for a good one."

[SFX: Phone ringing]

"Oh, it must be him."

[She answers the phone]

"Hello?...Oh hey, I was just thinking about you. What's up?...Oh, you want me to bring over some pizza? Sure I guess, might I ask why?...uh-huh...uh-huh...Sure thing."

[She scribbles a note on the book]

"So you want, A cheese pizza. What? No Pineapple? *laughs* I'm Joking buddy, of course I wouldn't get you any pineapple, anyways catch you later."

[Before you hang up he asks what's her plan now?]

"Oh, um...I'm going to a retirement party for a few old buddies of mine?"

[The other line ask who?]

"Who? Well...a few old friends who were helping me on expanding my talents."

[You ask her not to be late]

"Don't worry, after their retirement party, I'll head straight to you house. With might I add a large pizza."

[She giggles a little]

"Anyways, catch you later dude."

[She hangs up the phone]

"*Facepalm* Ugh...I got to tell him at some point. I just worry what he might say when he finds out."

[Time lapse]

"Okay, so a large pizza, no pineapples or anchovies. Now just to get some soda...One regular and one diet. Perfect."

[Pause]

"I wonder why the People running the pizza shop were laughing though. Kind of odd."

[She walks into your house]

"Hey best buddy, I got the pizza and the Ice cold soda. Now let's watch some corny movies and wash away your sorrows."

[Pause]

"Hello? Is anyone here?"

[You yell from upstairs that you'll be down in a second]

"Oh, he must be still changing upstairs. *Yells from downstairs* Okay buddy, just don't take too long. Don't want the pizza to get cold."

[She looks at her phone]

"That's rough with him, another dud of a date...why do girls keep standing him up like that? I mean, he's a cool enough guy."

[You come down stairs in a bit of a daze]

"Oh, hey buddy. I got the pizza. Ready for our "Movie night"? It should be a good one."

[You fall over in a panic]

"Buddy? What's wrong?"

[You start to panic more]

"Come on, it's not like you to freak out like that."

[You run to the bathroom and lock the door]

"Dude, your starting to freak me out."

[You response with likewise]

"Likewise? What on earth do you-"

[She decides to take out a mirror and realizes that she was still wearing clown makeup]

"Oh my god dude. I'm so sorry."

[You ask why she never say she was a clown]

"Why? For this exact reason. I knew you were afraid of clowns, and I didn't want to give you an anxiety attack."

[Pause]

"Look buddy, I'll take off the makeup. Then will you come out of the bathroom?"

[You agree]

"Okay, I'm just going to use your kitchen sink. If that is ok."

[You say it's fine]

[SFX: Water running]

"I'm sorry that you had to find out like this. I was going to tell you, I promise."

[Pause]

"Okay, the makeup is all off. You can come out now."

[SFX: door open]

"See, no more makeup."

[You ask why she waited to tell you]

"Well, it's Just I was waiting for the right time to tell you."

[Pause]

"I mean, as of right now; I just do it as a side thing. Mostly for children's hospitals."

[You ask about her side job]

"Yeah...the side job that I mention is dressing up as a clown."

[You ask why]

"Well, when the kids are really sick and feeling awful; they need something anything to cheer them up."

[Pause]

"In my case, it's a clown. Bringing them joy."

[Pause]

"It's just seeing them happy just brings joy to me as well."

[You kind of get it]

"I kind of was afraid though how you would view me...being a clown and all."

[Pause]

"I was also kind of afraid that you wouldn't like me either. I just wanted to show you how much this means to me. To see those kids forget their troubles...even if it is for an instant."

[You ask why did she thing that you would hate her]

"I don't know. I just was worried is all. Maybe you wouldn't like or even love a girl who likes making children laugh."

[Pause]

"Umm...when I say love I of course am referring to-"

[You kiss her gently and say you love her too]

"Wait, you mean it? You...love me?"

[You nod]

"Even with me training to be a clown, you would still love me?"

[You explain the reason]

"I mean, yeah. I guess getting over that fear is going to take some time. Don't worry though, I would never have you do anything that you wouldn't want...at least not right away."

[You raise an eyebrow]

"I mean getting over your fear of clowns. No need to look too deep into that."

[Pause]

"Anyways, ready for the movies?"

[You ask what she's got]

"Well, I got "Killer clowns from mars." and "It" both versions."

[Your face turns pale]

"I'm kidding of course. I just got Homeward bound the incredible journey and The back to the future movies."

[SFX: Kissing]

"You really think I do something like that to you?"

[You shake your head]

"Good. So, let's begin."

[SFX: T.V. Turning on]

[The two of you start watching a movie as it fades to black]
