Context: In your travels you find a Blind Swordsman, only to find out there a General of the Demon Army.

[Scene opens up on a suspiciously cold afternoon]

[SFX: Rustling leaves]

"Odd weather were having today."

[You turn around to find a blind person walking behind you]

"Apologies if I startled you, I'm not one to indirectly scare someone. I usually like going for the direct approach."

[You as who they are]

"Who, indeed. To some, I'm just another blind pedestrian walking around. You however, have peaked my interest."

[SFX: Sword coming out of holster]

[They try swiping at you]

"Judging by the way you moved, I missed."

[You asked what was that for?]

"More important question, why didn't you retaliate? Could it be that you actually pity me, just like the rest of them?"

[You ask what are they talking about?]

"What am I talking about? You really have no idea, do you?"

[You shake your head]

"Judging by your lack of response you either shake your head or nodded."

[The swordsman leaned in]

"In case you couldn't put two and two together; I'm blind!"

[You apologize]

"I guess I'll allow that to slide. Anyways, to get back on track; I am here on behalf of the Demon Army."

[You look in shock]

"Now that it seems that I got your attention, I'll continue."

[They clear their throat]

"I am here to take over your kingdom."

[You have doubts about a blind swordsman]

"I can tell that this requires some...motivation."

[Pause]

"I'll tell you what, I will stand right here and wait for your strongest warrior. If you fail to bring me one, I'll search for one instead."

[They lean in close]

"And you won't like it when I search for one."

[You rush off to find a warrior]

[Some time passes and he comes back with a knight]

"Oh, what have we got here?"

[You ask if your the person seeking a strong fighter]

"Indeed. Perhaps you will fill that role nicely."

[The blind General sits down]

"Well Knight, choose your weapon."

[You raise up your shield]

"Please tell me you did not just raise up your weapon to acknowledge it. That won't work with me."

[You ask why]

"Well for starters...I'M BLIND YOU TWIT!"

[You apologize and say your shield]

"*Mumbles under their breath* You know there is one thing I cannot stand, and that's when I have to acknowledge my own handicap, It's even worse when people apologize for not noticing."

[The general sighs]

"No matter than, Your shield is your weapon of choice? Than I shall reveal my weapon."

[The general pulls out their cane]

[SFX: Sword draw]

"I bet your not surprised by this. Yes, my cane doubles as a sword."

[You say your not surprised]

"Figured as much. Whenever there is a powerful warrior who has a drawback, they usually use it as a means to lower expectations."

[You don't seem to follow]

"Okay, for example; let's say there's a person who can't walk, the last thing you'd expect them to attack you with is the chair their sitting on, correct?"

[You agree]

"Hence the element of surprise is used with the handicap's drawback."

[You kind of get it now]

"Anyways, prepare yourself solider. For tonight, we shall fight till the last one remains standing."

[You say that was kind of cringe]

"Cringe or not. Get ready."

[The two of you battle fiercely]

"I must admit solider you hold your own pretty well. But how long can you keep up this façade?"

[You look in confusion]

"Please, I know quite well your just stalling so that everyone can escape. Tell me, how long did you plan on holding me off?"

[You say an hour]

"An hour? *Snicker* You must think yourself quite high. If I didn't know better, I figure your the General representing pride."

[You say that you take it that their envy?]

"*Bowing* You have guessed correctly. As one despised the earth, their eyes be sealed in blindness by their own envy and jealousy."

[You say that the idea of generals being named after the seven sins is still dumb]

"Hey, I wasn't the one who though of this Idea...I did however, take away my own sight."

[You ask why]

"Truth be told, I grew sick of what I witnessed around me...people in their own filth, rummaging, fighting, killing, stealing, and all for what? A possible step in the right direction. It's all just some sick joke, minus the punchline."

[The General puts the sword back in his holster]

"In many ways, when I hear you speak you don't look down on me...or pity me...this tone of voice...what do you feel towards me solider?"

[You admit that it's sadness]

"Sadness...sadness? I don't think I can quite figure you out solider...minus one detail."

[Pause]

"Your not from here are you?"

[You acknowledge his hunch]

"I knew it, I knew it. It's that accent. Your not even from this kingdom. So tell me, why help out these people? For all intensive purposes, they could be your enemies."

[You say your here to make a treaty with the country]

"Here to make a treaty? I take it your the representative of your nation then."

[The General sighs once more]

"You know what? You all bore me...I'm through here..."

[He walks away but turns around]

"Oh and give my regards to la rosa de la muerte. That Jerk still owes me 20 gold coins."

[He walks away as it fades to black]

Note: for anyone who wants to know why the general just got fed up with all of this continued nonsense. Also slight connection with the other Demon General part, found Here. I might do other generals involving the seven sins...eventually. Just thought of doing something out of my comfort zone. Hope you enjoyed this and have a lovely day/night.
