[Scene opens in your home]

[SFX: Thunder booming]

[Lucky is whimpering in a corner]

"Come on lucky, your a brave girl. Just face your fears and-"

[SFX: Lightning striking]

"Eep. I hope master come home soon."

[She continues to whimper]

"Come on master, your never this late."

[SFX: Door opening]

"Oh, is that master?"

[You walk towards her]

"Master!"

[She holds you tight whimpering in your chest]

"I was wondering when you were going to come back."

[You ask if she was afraid]

"A-afraid? Me? Nah! Of course not master. You know how I like to watch scary movies frequently I am never-"

[SFX: Thunder booming]

"Eep!"

[She laches right to you]

"All right. I'm afraid of the Thunder and Lightning it's like a giant rumbling stomach and it scares me..."

[She whimpers tightly to you]

"Master, is it ok if I stay with you for a bit?"

[You nod]

"Thank you master."

[The two of you wrap each other in a blanket]

"I bet you probably think it's silly for me to be afraid of this."

[You ask why]

"Why? Why? You know me master, you know the hardships I went through. To be afraid of something like this seems kind of...childish, don't you think?"

[You shake your head]

"Really? You don't think that I'm a frady cat?"

[You hug her and say no]

"Aw, thank you master. Come here~"

[She gently kisses you]

[SFX: Lightning striking]

[SFX: Power going out]

"Eep! *Whimper* Master, the lights are out."

[You hold her closely]

"Thank you master. I appreciate you holding me like this."

[She gently kisses you]

"Say, if it's all the same to you master. Would you mind not telling anyone this?"

[You ask why]

"Well, I kind of have this reputation of being a very brave dog...and being scared of thunder and lightning...I just...I just..."

[You comfort her as you feel she might cry soon]

"I know I shouldn't dwell on these things. I just feel so self conscious over stuff like this."

[You rub her back]

"I appreciate this master."

[You ask if she ate anything]

"This...might be hard to believe, but I was too scared to eat."

[Pause]

"I know, I can eat myself sick sometimes, but when I'm this scared...I just can't even look at food. Is that odd?"

[You say of course not]

"I'm glad though."

[Pause]

"Master, if there is anything you want me to do to repay you; just ask. Anything is on the table."

[You ask her to just take her time with this fear]

"Just take my time with this fear? What do you mean by that?"

[You explain it to her]

"So, your ok with me being afraid so long as it doesn't control me. If you put it like that, I guess I could see that."

[Pause]

"You know, I think this storm might be going away now. I haven't heard any thunder or lightning in quite a-"

[SFX: Lightning strike]

"*Squeak* I guess I spoke to soon."

[You continue to comfort her]

"I guess this kind of reminds me of my previous owners...You see when I was younger, they would often...laugh at me for being afraid of this...Now that I think back to it, they never loved me did they master?"

[You say she shouldn't think of them]

"I know, I know. There no longer my family. I use to think that what a family was."

[You say that your glad she didn't turn out like them]

"Your glad I didn't turn out like them? How master?"

[You say that she is still a kind and loving dog girl]

"I'm...kind...and loving? Aw, master. Come here~"

[She goes in for a kiss]

[SFX: lights coming on]

"Oh, master. The lights are back. Thank goodness."

[You are about to get up]

"Um...master?"

[You look down at her]

"Is...there any chance we could stay like this for a while?"

[you nod and sit back down]

"Thank you master."

[She snuggles into you and gives you loving kisses as it fades to black]
