[Scene opens up in the witch's cabin]

[SFX: Boiling pot]

"*Humming* Just a few more ingredients and I think we'll be all set."

[SFX: Knocking on the door]

"Oh, a visitor."

[SFX: Opening door]

"Hello?"

[She notices a suspicious amount of guards and knights]

"*Facepalm* Let me guess, the King is having a little trouble with his...irritated skin again?"

[The guards unravels a piece of paper]

"Oh, something a little more serious."

[The guard starts reading the charges]

"Wait, what are you talking about?"

[The other guards come into your home]

"Wait, Stop! This is an invasion's of privacy!"

[The guard finishes reading the charges.]

"Hold it....HOLD IT. I'll let you guys in and check around, but pleases. Don't make a mess."

[They all shrug and the final guard enters]

"Now please, before you destroy my living quarters. What the heck is going on?"

[The guard asks if she heard the charges]

"Well clearly not. You guys just coming in like you own the place."

[SFX: Paper shuffling]

"Let's see here; "Dear local witch you are being charge with the following crimes; Robbing the sick, attacking the elderly, HARMING THE CHICKENS AND DOGS?!" Really guys. You know me. I'm an avid animal lover."

[The guard ask you to continue reading]

"Okay, let's see what else I'm being charged with; "Amounts other thievery you are being charged with...*Softly spoken* positioning water wells...scaring horses...*Back to normal* Scaring children and threatening that I will eat them?" Come on guys, that is such a cliché."

[The guard asks if she will be willing to visit the king willingly]

"*Sigh* All right, but can I get my cat first? Just so you don't accidently step on his tail?"

[They nod]

"Okay...Trout? Come here boy."

[SFX: Meowing]

"Ah, there you are. Come here baby."

[She lifts up her cat]

"Now gentleman. I will peacefully go see the king. I just that after you are done searching, you kindly return things the way you found them?"

[They all look at each other]

"Please, it's not only for your own safety; but mine as well. I don't want any herbs that I use to take care of some...unpleasant weeds mixed in with the herbs that I use to make my soup."

[One of them tries to moves the cauldron]

"Don't touch that!...It's still hot. At least wait about ten minutes before attempting to move it."

[She strokes her cat]

"Contrary to what you guys are accusing me of. I do care about you."

[They agree]

"Thank you. Now then, off to the king."

[SFX: Marching]

[You march all the way to the kings Courtroom]

"Okay, this will hopefully not take too long."

[SFX: doors opening]

"Good day Your Majesty."

[The king waives you in]

"So, there seems to be some sort of misunderstanding."

[You ask if the charges were read]

"Indeed the charges have been read to me."

[You ask if she was willing to go peacefully]

"Well...as peaceful as coming here to talk to you."

[You ask if there is anything that you wish to say to all of us]

"As a matter of fact I do have something to say."

[You give her the floor]

"Thank you. *Clears throat* Now your Majesty. We go way back, back when we both were little. I have to ask you, as someone who knows my character more than anyone else. Am I capable of doing the horrendous things that the court is currently accusing me of?"

[Pause]

"You of all people should know that when this kingdom had suffered from many diseases who was there at your beckoning right up front?"

[Pause]

"Not to mention the promise that your father made to my mother, a modest little home. On the outskirts of the kingdom."

[Pause]

"If it's a matter of my loyalty, it is indeed with the crown. More importantly, why would I; a mere witch go out of her way to ruin her reputation in such a manner that would cause me to be ran out of the only place that would welcome me with open arms."

[Pause]

"With your permission, could I talk to you in private?"

[You ponder for a moment]

"Please, if not for an old friend?"

[You dismiss the guards]

"Thank you sire."

[The guards leave]

"Just one second..."

[SFX: Door shutting]

"Okay...now. What the heck is going on?"

[You ask her to calm down]

"Calm down? Calm down?! You accuse me of a bunch of crimes that you and I both know is hogwash. So, I'll ask again; What is goin on here?"

[You explain the situation]

"*Facepalm* So let me get this straight; A bunch of neighboring kingdoms say that they saw a witch matching my descriptions doing all this heinous things?"

[You nod]

"And that I flew away in my "Magical broom"?"

[You nod again]

"Well, there's your proof."

[You raise an eyebrow]

"Come on. You and I go back a few years. Have you ever seen me ride a broom?"

[You shake your head]

"Exactly, there in it is the proof."

[You do say that she has to stay for a while]

"Figures. They probably knew we were close friends. If you didn't bring me in; someone else would."

[You get closer to her]

"Listen, I know your the king and all. Is there any way thought that you could not send me to the dungeon?"

[You said that you said to the other kingdoms that you would send her there]

"*Eyes watering up* Please, your majesty. If our friendship means anything. Anything at all, you wouldn't send me there. I'm begging you."

[You say she doesn't understand]

"I don't understand? What pray tell do I not understand? I go in quietly, without a fuss and what's my reward for that? The dungeon."

[You say your not going to send her there.]

"*Wiping tears* R-really? You mean it?"

[You do say that she has to lay low]

"I take it that means I cannot go back home right away."

[You look down]

"I...I understand."

[Pause]

"So, where am I going to be stationed?"

[You say the highest tower]

"The highest tower...Wait, the same highest tower that you grew up in? You slept in? You...*Blushing* I don't know if I can stay there."

[You say she has to]

"Really? there is no other option?"

[You look down again]

"Okay...I can see you thought this through."

[You say that you'll look after her cat]

"Thanks. I appreciate it."

[She lifts up the cat]

"Now you be good for the king Trout. He's an old friend of mine."

[Trout looks at her with doubt]

"Hey, no need to give me that look. Were just...friend. Yeah, just friends."

[She hands you the cat]

[SFX: Cat purring]

"Aw, he like's you."

[You stroke the cat gently]

"I'm trusting you with him. So please don't let me down."

[You thank her for understanding]

"I...also appreciate you believing that it wasen't me."

[You say that you knew through the testimony]

"Oh, through the testimony? I take it it's because of me flying on the broom claim?"

[You nod]

"I appreciate you not telling anyone though. I think if I had a choice of letting that cat out of the bag...Sorry trout, or get the accusations followed up. I'll take my chances with the latter rather than the former."

[Pause]

"I'll trust that you'll find the truth?"

[You nod]

"Thanks...Welp off to the tower."

[She walks outside the doors and walks to the tower as it fades to black]

Edit: It came to my attention of a development in the background with it being in line with historical accuracy. currently cannot change it on the title, but in the tag and future tags. I do plan to change it to Royal listener.

The person in question figure I change king to lord or grand duke...If however you want to keep the King listener, your also welcome to that...Since I added on the usage "You may tweak...The script" That also goes with reading...Thank you.
