[Scene opens up at a restaurant]

[SFX: Restaurant ambiance]

"Geeze, what's taking them so long?"

[Looks at watch]

"I know I said to meet me at seven...Why are they so late?"

[You arrive]

"Ugh. Took you long enough."

[You apologize]

"Well, I guess since you made it *Under her breath* Five minutes late *Back to normal* I guess we should enjoy the meal."

[You go to take out your wallet]

"Oh, no need. I had everything taken care of."

[You look kind of defeated]

"Hey, it's all right. The owner is an old friend of the family. When they had a bit of a rough patch, my family helped out."

[You asked how]

"I mean...you know, usual loans and all...Also didn't help that a few...*Clears throat* business rivals tried coming in and shutting them down."

[Pause]

"So it's safe to say the business owes us."

[You look at her slightly concerned]

"Now don't get the wrong idea. We don't abuse this "Charity" to the point were they suffer. Just every once in a while, we need a little...favors is all."

[You look at her as if to say like?]

"Well, for example; Let's say that I need to set up a date quickly. As a hypothetical, let's just say...a job interview."

[Pause]

"I know, a bit of a rough example but hear me out."

[You let her continue]

"Anyways, for this Job interview if I want to make a good impression the best way is through a good or in some cases great meal. Right?"

[You nod]

"So, in these cases I like to have a little...preparation for them."

[You look at her with raised eyebrows]

"Now, don't get the wrong idea. I'm not the type to abuse certain charitable moments on just anything. Especially if it comes out of the owner's pocket."

[Pause]

"So anyways....because of this I am very...conservative when cashing in favors. Especially when it's a fancy place like this."

[You ask when was the last time she cashed in a free meal here]

"The last time I cashed a free meal? Well, I can safely say that it's been about six months since the last time I did this. Before that, about a year."

[You think it's seem reasonable]

"I usually eat alone though. I think the owner was hoping I'd eat with someone at least once."

[She leans back in her seat]

"In many ways, inviting you here kills two birds with one stone."

[You don't follow]

"Come on, keep up. If I invite you to this restaurant at least once, and the owner see's me with you, he'll get off my case and leave me alone the next time I come in here. Genius right?"

[You say not really]

"What? Why? What makes this plan not flawless?"

[You explain the reason]

"So if the owner gets curious on why I'm not spending any time with you, he'll get on my case again. Especially considering how sporadic I come in here."

[Pause]

"...Okay, you may have a point there. That I will admit."

[Pause]

"If I can be honest with you, you do seem really nice."

[You facepalm slightly]

"Hey, I do really mean that as a complement. With the people I know, and my family...it's kind of hard to find someone you can trust."

[Pause]

"Especially those that might do you, or the one's you love harm."

[You ask if there is anyone like that who would hurt her]

"I'd rather not talk about it...or more appropriately not right now anyways."

[You say it's fine]

"Thanks."

[SFX: Plates being set]

"Oh, just in time. No need to hold back, eat as much as you like."

[You prepare to eat]

"Time to dig in."

[She dips some of the food into a Sause and starts eating]

"So, what's your thoughts on the food?"

[You say it's very rich]

"Yeah, you can kind of see why I don't come here often as well. The food's good. Almost, too good if that makes any sense."

[You nod]

"I do like to suggest to others if they are looking for a good restaurant to try this out. Word of mouth and all."

[You say you understand]

"So anyways, I just wanted to at least see how you are at a date. Also, seeing you outside of School, I can fully understand what type of person you are."

[She leans in]

"I'll let the whole being five minutes late slide...Considering this might be your first date right?"

[You nod]

"I bet you stayed up the previous night wondering what we should do afterwards."

[You start to blush]

"Pfft, I'm kidding. Man, some student's think I'm so uptight that when I actually let a joke out, they give me a look like you just did."

[You ask what look]

"Well for starters, turning a beet red doesn't help your case. I bet you thought I was serious there."

[You say it's nice seeing her lighten up]

"Yeah well...It's just there are very few times that I can actually be all lighthearted like this."

[SFX: Fingers going through her hair]

"I mean...there are just too many instances where I have to be serious. I have to keep up an image, and more importantly, try to stay strong for the Tohsaka name."

[You ask if she wants to talk about her family since were here]

"What's to talk about? My father died when I was a girl, and my mom...I think it's best if I don't talk about her at least for now."

[You ask about any other family members]

"Other family members? There isn't any...other family members."

[She takes a sip of her drink slowly]

"So, enough about me. Any hobbies that you have? Maybe something we can relate to?"

[You tell her you hobbies]

"I guess those seem normal, I mean compared to my push-ups before I go to bed...that seems like a breath of fresh air."

[She realizes what she just said]

"Um...Could you possibly forget that I said that?"

[You nod]

"Thanks."

[The bill comes over]

"*Reading the bill* Yup, everything looks in order."

[You ask why they still give a bill]

"I just like to check to make sure I don't overuse the generosity that they offer. That's all."

[The two of you get up]

"Well, I guess that concludes our little...date."

[SFX: Opening and closing doors]

"Anyways...I can't say that the date was...good. However, I can at least say it could of been worse."

[SFX: Kiss]

"Tell you what? Since that wasen't one of the worst dates, how's about you and I go out again?"

[You ask if she's serious]

"Well of course I am. I'm not one to lie over something like that."

[Pause]

"Tell you what, since you felt bad not paying for this one; then next date you cover the payment method."

[You nod]

"Don't worry either, I'm fine with wherever. Just so long as you can be a little more at ease. Ok?"

[You nod]

"Good, see you then."

[She walks away as it fades to black]
