[Scene opens up with you wondering the woods]

[SFX: Ruffled leaves]

"Oh, what do we have here~? A human walking alone in the forest~?"

[Pause]

"No response eh~? Perhaps I should eat you where you stand~."

[SFX: Ziplining]

"Now I got you right where I want you~. My dear, precious human~."

[Pause]

"So tell me, what bring you into the woods at this late of an hour?"

[Pause]

"Still not talking eh? Well, we'll see about that~"

[She gets closer to you and you see her]

"Now human are you afraid~?"

[You shrug]

"Really? A shrug? Not really the response I was looking for...let's move on."

[She clears her throat]

"Now, human trapped in my web; Are you not the slightest concerned that I will eat you up~?

[You look down and shake your head]

"Oh~? Perhaps you had a death wish~? Why not tell me what ever is the matter~?"

[You say she's better off eating you]

"Better off eating yo-Ugh. Come on, your ruining this for me! It's one of the few times I can have fun with you humans."

[She sighs as she frees you from her web]

"You know what, just go. You ruined the moment."

[Pause]

"Did I stutter? Go!"

[You don't move]

"Um...are you ok?"

[She lifts up your chin to see you crying]

"*Gasp* Oh my goodness. I...I didn't realize you were that upset."

[She sits next to you and hands you a tissue]

"Here buddy."

[You blow in it and thank her]

"Sure. Um...I hope you don't mind me asking, but what happened?"

[You explain to her that you broke up with your girlfriend]

"Oh. I see, yeah. That would probably do it."

[Pause]

"If your ok with talking about it, you want to discuss it?"

[You explain to her the situation]

"Woah. Didn't see that coming."

[She stretches a little]

"Well, I guess this kind of explains how you were not phased by me threating to eat you."

[She leans in]

"And just between us, I'm not the biggest fan of humans. At least, eating them."

[You ask why]

"Well, humans are kind of like broccoli or Brussel sprouts in the sense of taste for Driders."

[She gets closer]

"Anyways, hearing the way you broke up with her...and finding out your best friend was dating her on the side...Dude, that's rough."

[You ask if that's the reason why she won't eat him]

"Well, one of the reasons why I won't eat you. To be real with you for a moment, If I ate or devour if you prefer every guy that was depressed over their breakup with their girlfriend; I'd have enough meat to feed the entire Drider community."

[She rubs your back]

"Although, if I had a situation like yours...I'd probably only able to feed the Tri state area. Not as big, but still a lot."

[You ask if this happens often]

"Well, yeah. The humans get all mopey, and try to find a Drider nest. Only to be met with the same response that I am giving you."

[You ask her about the Ara~ Ara~ Voice]

"What, you don't like my "Ara~, Ara~" Voice? I think it's a nice touch personally."

[You ask why]

"I heard from some other humans for exchange for their lives, how to properly "Lure in" other humans. Honestly, it kind of worked."

[Pause]

"I know that look, your wondering outside of humans, what do we capture?"

[pause]

"The thing is, we don't normally capture humans...at least not as often as you think. We primarily go after other prey, you know; Deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, etc. etc."

[Pause]

"The thing with humans, is they are just too much of a hassle to capture. Think of it as "Predators not wanting to seek out other predators" If that makes any sense."

[You say it kind of does]

"I mean, if were desperate, we'll hunt anything. That's the thing though. IF, were desperate."

[You ask so why do all the hunting humans act]

"The thing is...we also get really bored. Messing with you humans are just the way we get our kicks."

[Pause]

"I mean, you try spending all day waiting for prey. You get pretty bored as well too right?"

[You nod]

"Exactly, not to trail too far off. But about your situation, did you want to talk about it?"

[You shake your head]

"Okay, we don't have to talk about it. Is there anything you want to do though?"

[You shrug]

"Well, I guess that is to be expected. Tell you what, If your interested and only if your interested. I can lend you some help with the dating life, maybe give you some pointers."

[You look at her with confusion]

"Oh, come on. I maybe a drider, but I'm also a girl as well. I think that maybe you just need a little bit of confidence back in you."

[She puts her hand on your shoulder]

"Trust me, It'll get better. It might take a while, and I can't say for certain when. It will get better though."

[You ask her how is she so certain]

"How am I so certain? Well, call it a six sense that I have. Just something seems...genuine with you."

[You look down slightly relieved]

"Tell you what, since you came all this way, expecting some monster to eat you; I won't let you leave empty handed."

[She grabs you and leans in closely]

"Don't worry, this won't hurt a bit~."

[She giggles as she kisses you lovingly]

"There now, feel better~."

[You nod and blush]

"*Giggle* Good~, but before you go. There is one last thing I wanted to give you~."

[She giggles again as she bites her lip gently]

"Ta-Da. A hug."

[She laughs a little]

"I bet you thought I was going to do something dirty to you huh? *Laughing* Don't worry, I won't let your head go to the gutters for long."

[She leans down her head on your shoulder and gently whispers in your ear]

"I will say this though...I do mean what I say, a guy like you; there's bound to be a girl who would love you. Don't let this...very messy break up bring you down."

[She leans back]

"Just remember...You matter."

[She sets you down again]

"Now, run off. Try not to fall into any trap doors."

[You look at her with confusion]

"What? Not all of us are driders. Some of us spider girls love trapping our prey with trap doors."

[You thank her and run off]

"Man, I do hope he finds someone better that that...nasty piece of work."

[She walks back into the darkness as it fades to black]
