[Scene opens up on a dark and stormy night in the middle of the woods]

[SFX: Rustling in the bushes]

"Your better off coming out right now. No one has ever successfully got the jump on me."

[SFX: Thud]

"*Chuckles* Not often I see a Knight in the middle of a stormy night. All right solider, what brings you out here?"

[You say that your scouting for any threats]

"Scouting for threats? Well, here I am. So tell me; what are you going to do about that?"

[You ask the dark figure to prepare themselves]

"*Chuckles* This is going to be fun. Choose your weapon solider."

[You lift out your shield]

"A shield?"

[You ask them not to mock their choice in weapon]

"You misunderstood little knight. It doesn't matter if you use a bow, a shield, a spear, sword, a stick or even your bear fists. It doesn't matter to me. I'll take you down easily."

[You ask why call him a little knight.]

"Why do I call you a little Knight?"

[The figure stands up and towers over you]

"That's why, Little man."

[You sense a feeling of dread]

"*Sniffs* Ah~, I just love the smell of fear."

[You ask what weapon do they choose]

"What weapon? Well, I might as well humor you."

[They take out a spear]

"Will this spear do."

[You look at it and ask is that all]

"Is that all he says..."

[SFX: Magical glitter]

"Of course I'm going to be using an enchanted spear on you. It's not like that little shield of your is enchanted right?"

[You nod regretfully]

"...And yet you still intend to fight me."

[You nod]

"Why? Why fight something or in this case, someone that is clearly out of your league?"

[You mention that it's your civic duty]

"*Burst out laughing* Your civic duty? Is it really worth risking your neck for these...people. People who will forget about you, people who will betray you, people who will leave you to rot in a prison. All for the sake of them?"

[You nod again]

"I don't understand you. If someone like you were to throw away your life like that...Ugh, You know what, let's just start this."

[They raise the spear up to the air]

[SFX: Lightning striking]

"Prepare yourself Solider."

[The two of you start fighting, but your clearly outmatched]

"Come on, Is that all you got?"

[You continue to get the floor wiped as the Dark figure refuses to slow down]

"Yes, that's it. More, show me more."

[You keep falling down but still getting up]

"I admire the little playtime that we're doing Solider, but playtime's over."

[They strike you and toss you aside]

"Tch, I'd figure that this Knight would of been at least worth my time."

[You call out to them]

"Ugh, What now?"

[They look in shock as you limp towards them saying you heard no bell]

"You heard no bell? Do you really think this is a game kid. *Sigh* fine, I guess the only way I can stop you is if I kill you. Right here, right now."

[You ask the figures motivation]

"Truthfully, I don't really have one. I use to challenge the strongest, and get a thrill from fighting. That thrill like most things ends up withering and dying."

[You see their fist clenching the spear]

"Now enough talk...time to finish this."

[Every time they try striking you down you just keep get back up]

"Why...Won't...you...Stay...Down?!"

[You say that you can do this all day]

"*Snickers* You can do this all day? Well, So can I!"

[the storm picks up as you two continue fighting]

"Aren't you afraid boy? Losing your life, to me or this storm?"

[You shake your head]

"*under their breath* persistent little- *back to normal* What would it take for you to submit?"

[You ask why]

"Clearly I want to spare your life, don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

[You tell them that they won't stop until they submit]

"Until I submit? Are you for real? Do you have any idea who you are talking to now?"

[You say don't know, don't care]

"*Inner monologue* This brat is more stubborn than what's he's worth. Not to mention that he doesn't know or care who I am."

[pause]

"*Sigh* I can see this is going nowhere, Tell you what kid does the name; " la rosa de la muerte" mean anything to you?"

[You shake your head again]

"Of course, why wouldn't it. Anyways, I am one of the Generals of the Demon lord's army. I represent Wrath, due to my short fuse and even shorter tolerance for idiots."

[Pause]

"Hard to believe that I was able to beat many a worthy opponents, but you just refuse to stay down. Weather it be due to your stubbornness or stupidity. What do you hope to accomplish?"

[You admit that they are strong]

"Acknowledging my strength, maybe your not all that dumb."

[You ask if there willing to join you to stop the demon army.]

"*Snicker turned into burst out laughing* Me? Join you? Why on earth would I, a General join a weak human?"

[You say that you figure the reason why they joined the demon army]

"Oh, figure you got me pegged? Ok, tell me. Why did I join the army?"

[You say to fight strong appointments]

"I mean, your not wrong. I haven't found a worthy adversary in quite some time. What, you think you could fill the boots of that role?"

[You say with enough proper training]

"Maybe your right. With proper training, you might be worthy enough for a proper motivation. All right, you got me convinced."

[The General lifts you up by the throat]

"But don't get the wrong idea, the moment I find you no longer worthy; these roads will be painted red...if you catch my drift."

[You nod]

"*Snickers* Good."

[The General Drops you]

"Every year from this point forward, I will fight you. To see if you still have what it takes. There will be acceptations of course."

[You find it easy that it was to convince this monster to join your side]

"Oh, and contrary to popular belief. I am a human, not a monster."

[The General gathers his stuff and walks towards you]

"Let's hope that you make my time worth while, and maybe...just maybe you will succeed in your goals."

[Pause]

"Who knows, maybe in training you I can finally have the motivation in fighting. So please, don't bore me."

[You nod]

"*Snickers* Great, I'll meet you in town."

[Fade to black]
