Context: Cyndir goes to train with the Captain of the Knights, and finds herself with more than she bargained for.

[Scene opens up outside of a tavern]

"Let's see here. According to the directions that my beloved sent for me, I'm suppose to meet the Captain in this tavern."

[Looks at tavern sign]

"Yup. The black sheep. This is it."

[SFX: Door opening and music playing]

"Woah, talk about a fixer upper. Anyways now to find the Captain."

[She walks over to the bar]

"Hey barkeep, what's a dragon to do to get a drink around here."

[Some big guys come right behind you and start putting the moves on you]

"*Inner monologue* Oh great. Just what I need, some creeps hitting on me. Couldn't it wait until I get my first drink?"

[She clears her throat]

"Barkeep! Drink please."

[SFX: Glass sliding down]

"Ah~. Thank you."

[She begins drinking as the guys begin flirting with her]

"Sorry guys, I'm spoken for."

[They don't stop as she calls the bartender]

"Hey barkeep, any chance you could help me find someone?"

[They ask who]

"Well, I'm suppose to meet this Captain. Unfortunately I don't know what they look like."

[The guys try acting macho thinking it might be them as the bartender ask for some info]

"Oh, right."

[SFX: Shuffling papers]

"All that I know of them is their nickname. Maybe you have heard of them?"

[They ask for the nickname]

"Well, their nickname is " la rosa de la muerte"

[SFX: Music abruptly stops]

"Uh...did I say something wrong?"

[She looks over to the guys as they are as pale as ghost]

"*Inner monologue* Yikes, didn't think humans could be scared of someone like that. Wonder who this "la rosa de la muerte" Is."

[The bartender ask if she really is looking for the Rose of Death?]

"Huh? The rose of death? Who's that?"

[The bartender tells you]

"Wait, wait, wait. You mean to tell me that the rose of death is some "Infamous" Captain, that gets their thrills from challenging the strongest of the strong? Come on, the way your describing them; It seems like it's some kind of boogeyman."

[She laughs a little as the bartender looks over to a short looking cloaked figure]

"Huh? What are you looking at? It's almost as if you seen death itself."

[She looks over to a short looking figure as she burst out laughing]

"Wait...Wait...This is "The Rose of Death?"

[She laughs harder as she slams the bar hard]

"Don't...don't tell me...You are all afraid of this runt?"

[The laughter continues as she leans over laughing]

"Oh, oh man. That is too much!"

[She continues laughing as the figure stands up]

"And to think. I was afraid of this little runt? Not to mention, my Boyfriend was worried about this puny...little...Why is it gotten so dark in here?"

[She turns around to find the figure is towering over her. A good five to six feet taller.]

"*Nervous laugh* Now when I said, puny little runt. What I meant to say was."

[SFX: Slamming table]

"Eep."

[The figure says to take this outside...now]

"Outside? Now? As in, right now?"

[They nod]

"*Inner monologue* Whelp, I guess this is how I bite the dust. *Sigh* I wished I kissed my boyfriend one last time."

[SFX: Door opening and closing]

"So...What exactly do you have planned for me?"

[The captain removes a cover full of weapons]

"Woah, nice haul. You got swords, bows, maces..."

[The captain says choose your weapon]

"Wait, choose my weapon-Do you really think I need a weapon to spar with you?"

[The captain nods]

"Okay, okay. Before we start, there has been something that has been bothering me lately. I was kind of hoping you could clear it up."

[The captain is listening]

"So, for starters they call you the rose of death. Care for an explanation?"

[The captain shrugs]

"You really don't know why they call you the Rose of death?"

[The captain explains the situation]

"Okay, so I guess you have no say in why they call you that. It's not like you choose your own nickname."

[She covers up the weapons]

"Follow up question. My boyfriend seemed really nervous in you being my trainer while he is away. Care to elaborate?"

[The captain says that he's probably afraid that they would kill her]

"Wait...after all that training and progress that I thought we were making, he still thinks I am a weak dragon?"

[The captain shakes their head saying they believe that they are that strong]

"Um...How...how strong are you?"

[The captain states that they were told explicitly not to go full power on her]

"*Moans* Not to go full power? I really need to have a talk with him afterwards. All right captain, answer me this, How many dragons have you face in the past?"

[They say that she's the first]

"Wait, I'm your first?"

[The captain states that they don't waste time on weak creatures]

"Weak? Weak? What do you mean you don't waste your time on weak creatures? Are you saying that dragons...are weaker...Than you?"

[They nod]

"*Inner monologue* Okay Cyndir, your facing against a creature that is clearly stronger that you."

[She clears her throat nervously]

"Um...so tell me. What species of creature are you?"

[The captain says human.]

"Human? Human?! I'm gonna call BS on that right here, right now! No human is fire proof or that strong or not to mention that intimidating."

[The captain laughs slightly]

"Wait, what's so funny? I'm serious."

[The captain says so are they]

"So, what's stopping you from...you know."

[She makes a motion with her finger across her neck and a slice throat sound]

"I mean, you could probably finish me right now."

[The captain nods]

"Then why toy with me?"

[The captain says that the vice captain gave them an ultimatum]

"An ultimatum? What kind of ultimatum?"

[The Captain says if they execute the dragon, the vice-captain will never challenge them again]

"Wait, so the only thing that is stopping you from finishing me off...is the fact that the Vice-Captain threatened not to challenge you anymore?"

[The captain nods]

"That has got to be the dumbest reason for not finishing a dragon in the first place. *Sigh* Anyways, as a formality I have to ask you to choose your weapon."

[The Captain grabs a spear]

"Of course, a spear. Why not. It's not like it can pierce my skin anyways."

[SFX: Magical glitter]

"*Facepalm* Of course it would be enchanted. You know what, whatever. Let's just get this over with."

[The captain agrees to use sixty percent of their power]

"There's an odd flex. Sixty percent of your power? Why that amount?"

[They explain the reason]

"So, if you use more than sixty; you fear my safety. If you use less, you fear that it would be...insulting to my power?"

[They nod]

"Wow. Outside of the vice-captain, I think your the first one to acknowledge me as strong. *Starts to tear up* This would be the happiest day of my life...if it wouldn't be my last."

[The captain moans as if they were bored]

"*Wiping the tears away* Okay, let's do this."

[The two of you wait in a standstill for a second]

"Um...aren't you going to attack?"

[The captain sates that their waiting for them to transform]

"Wait...your serious. You want me to fight in my dragon form?"

[The captain won't take no for an answer]

"Okay, okay. Just don't get upset if I'm too strong for you."

[SFX: Transforming into a dragon]

"Well now, Shall we begin-"

[The captain disappears]

"Wha-hey. Where did you-"

[SFX: Punching sound effect]

"Ugh...Wow, your a lot quicker than I imagined. No matter I will show you my true power and the strength of a dragon-"

[The captain hits you in the gut hard with the butt of the spear]

"Oof. That's smarts."

[She kneels down for a second as the captain approaches slowly]

"*Breathing slowly* Uh, just give me a moment."

[The weather starts to get darker]

"I just need a moment."

[They approach slowly]

"Wait, one last question;"

[They lift her chin up with the spear as they listen]

"What makes you think I'm that strong?"

[They state that she is the reason for the Vice-Captain for getting stronger]

"Wait a minute. You think I'm the reason that the Vice-Captain is getting stronger?"

[They nod]

"So the only reason that your not finishing me off...is because of him?"

[They nod]

"Am I really that much of an annoyance to you?"

[They nod]

"Rude much? Anyways, I know that there isn't much choice left but..."

[SFX: Breathing fire]

"*Breathing heavily* Maybe, that will at least slow them down?"

[The captain walks through the flames, looking extremely livid]

"*Facepalm* Of course that would do nothing. Cyndir, you moron. You were even told specifically not to breath fire on them."

[She looks at the captain once over]

"So, any reason your cloths aren't charred?"

[They explain why]

"I guess you have a point. Walking around when your fireproof, but your cloths are not, can be a bit...awkward to say the least."

[SFX: Raining]

"I guess we should stop this session."

[The captain laughs]

"Wait, why are you laughing? Don't tell me you intend to fight in this weather?"

[They lift up their spear]

"Wait. If you do that-"

[SFX: Lightning striking]

"Woah, That would be so cool if it wasn't so scary."

[SFX: Electricity]

"Um, you ok?"

[The start off by walking towards her]

"Uh...Captain?"

[They start to run twords you]

"Captain? This isn't funny."

[They charge at you with full force just missing you by inches]

"*Panic breathing* Captain, can we stop now?"

[You see the cold eyes in the captain with a little joy in the fight]

[SFX: Transforming back]

"*Panicking* I...Uh...That's the first time someone has ever scared me so badly that I transformed back."

[You see them smile]

"Captain? I think it's safe to say, you won this match."

[The captain starts to laugh as a solider interrupts them]

"I never thought I'd be happy to see another solider. Thank you."

[The captain looks dagger at him as they ask to speak in private]

"Wait, talk in private? Why does he want to talk to you in private?"

[The captain stares dagger at you]

"Okay, okay. Yeesh, no need to get so nasty."

[The two of them walk over to an area so they are not heard]

"This must of been really important. According to my boyfriend, the only people who would interrupt the captain like that, usually have a death wish."

[Pause]

"I'm sure it's nothing too bad...right?"

[She see's the captain lifting the Solider up by his throat and starts choking him]

"Wha-Hey! Let him go. Your going to hurt him."

[She runs towards the captain]

"Captain, let...Him...Go!"

[She tries to pry the hand off of the soldier's neck but to no veil]

"Look, I'm sure that there is some sort of misunderstanding-"

[The captain says there isn't]

"Huh? Wha-what do you mean?"

[The captain says that the Vice-Captain has been captured]

"Captured? No, no, no, no. There must be some mistake. I mean, he wouldn't...he couldn't..."

[SFX: Shield hitting the ground]

"*Gasp* Oh...oh no. This can't...this can't be."

[The captain drops the soldier on the ground and points the spear at Cyndir]

"Wait, what did I do?"

[The captain says that they prey that she gets to the enemies before they do]

"What do you mean you prey that I get there first before you do?"

[You see their eyes turn cold]

"No...the stories that I have heard...The goblin village, the drider colony, The harpy cities? All of those stories were true?!"

[The captain nods]

[SFX: Fist clenching]

"Boss...please be all right."

[Before the captain leaves cyndir stops them]

"Um...before I go, I have to ask. Do...do you really think I'm that strong?"

[They nod]

"Sorry, It's just...I didn't think a Knight outside of my boyfriend would think...I'm worthy."

[Before they leave they ask her a question]

"A question? Sure, go for it."

[They ask why did she become a knight?]

"Why did I become a knight? Well...I guess it was to be closer to him. I know, that I could refuse the whole formality of being a knight. It's not like they hold me down or anything."

[She laughs nervously]

"Anyway, I just want to be there for him. His support...his rock...his friend...his love."

[The captain says that maybe they can arrange them sharing rooms together]

"Sharing rooms? Really?"

[They nod]

"Oh, thank you."

[She goes to hug but they stop her]

"I take it your not the huggy type. Well, anyways. Let's go save my boyfriend."

[The captain says cringe]

"Come on. It's not that cringe right?"

[The two of you run into the darkness as it fades to black]

Side note: for a visual inspiration think of a yujiro hanma type of guy or girl for the Captain. Just as a visual example. I know that I could of use the Yandere trope a little better, first time attempting it. Hopefully you enjoyed reading it.
