[Scene opens up in the middle of the night]

[SFX: Door knocking]

"H-hey boss, is it ok if I come in?"

[You move a little and nod]

"T-thank you."

[She slowly walks up to you.]

"I know it's kind of late, I was just wondering if I could spend the night with you."

[You ask why]

"Why? Well, I...um...I kind of had a rough day and all. The training and the laps and the...your not buying this are you?"

[You shake your head]

"*Sigh* Figures, well might as well explain myself then."

[Pause]

"Um, is it ok if I sit down for a second?"

[You nod]

"Thanks."

[She sits by the side of your bed]

"So, I kind of...well I....I sorta..."

[You say out with it]

"I'm getting there. I'm getting there. It's just really embarrassing to say, *Under her breath* Especially to you."

[You lean up and rub her back gently]

"Well first, I need some disclosure."

[You ask why]

"Well, I never had something like this happen to me. Not even when I was a younger dragon girl. So I need you to promise me that you will not, and can not tell anyone."

[You look at her with confusion]

"Promise me, boss. I really need this."

[You see that it's serious as she tries to hold back tears, but you agree]

"*Sniff* Thank you."

[She shuffles around your bed to get more comfy]

"Anyways, I had this Nightmare."

[Pause]

"And in this Nightmare, you never wanted to see me again."

[You say that it's silly]

"I know, I know. You would never say that to me. It just...it just...*Hic* It felt so real, that I couldn't control myself."

[She wipes the tears off her face]

"I was so scared, that I spent the past half hour crying in my bedsheets...quietly."

[You look at her in confusion with the quietly part]

"Well, you know how many of us "Trainee's" have to share a room...or two...or three...or in my case, ten?"

[You nod]

"*Still trying to hold back the tears* I just didn't...I didn't want to disturb anyone."

[She tries to clear her throat]

"I just...cried silently in my bedsheets. Wondering; was this real? Would he actually throw me away?"

[She curls up in a ball]

"I tried to convince myself that you would never do anything like that. I needed to see you."

[you mention how it's a taboo thing]

"Yeah, I know. If people found out that I was sneaking into your room...in the middle of the night, I can only imagine how that would hurt your image."

[Pause]

"Right now, I just need someone I can rely on. I know it's a lot to process. Especially this early in the morning."

[She scooches a little closer]

"So if you want me to go, I will. We can discuss this tomorrow. I just needed someone now."

[You gently hug her, rubbing her back]

"Thanks boss. I needed that."

[SFX: kissing]

"So, do you want me to leave?"

[You shake your head]

"Really? You mean it? I can stay?"

[You say only for tonight]

"Oh, of course. I understand only for tonight. I can't imagine the controversy of me being here. Showing one of your "Students" Favoritism? If the lord heard of us in this situation they-"

[You say that there is something that you have to discuss]

"Huh? Something important to discuss? *Yawn* Couldn't it possibly wait until morning?"

[You shake your head again]

"Okay, okay. What's the news that you have to tell me?"

[SFX: Shuffling through a drawer]

"Uh, no offense boss. Isn't the whole thing of me being here, meant to be something...Discreet?"

[You found what you were looking for]

"Oh, finally found it. Okay, so what is it?"

[You show her a letter]

"A letter. Is this something I need to worry about?"

[You nod]

"Figures. Let me guess, I showed up the captain and now he request a meeting with me."

[You shake your head]

"Not him huh? Well, maybe the lord is wanting me to-"

[you shake your head again]

"Well if it isn't the lord or the captain...*Snickers* maybe it's the Majesty wishing to see my presence."

[She tries to hold back the laughter]

"I mean...could you imagine? Me. In front of the royal of the royals. *Sigh* Thanks Boss, I needed that. I can rest easily now."

[She gets under the covers but notices your not moving]

"Huh? Boss? Why aren't you coming into bed with me?"

[She sits up and teases you a little]

"Oh, I see~. When it comes down to it, your still the little scout. Not wanting to do wrong to a "Fine maiden" such as myself. You'd be willing to forfeit your own bed for my sake."

[SFX: Patting the bed]

"Come on, I promise that I won't bite...much."

[You still won't move]

"I'm kidding, come on boss. When would you ever, in all of our training would I ever...ever bite?"

[You ask her to open the envelope]

"Open the envelope...Really?"

[You nod]

"Okay."

[SFX: Paper ripping]

"Still don't know what the big...deal...is?"

[She realizes how big of a deal this is]

"This...this is really a letter...from the majesty?"

[You nod]

"*Clears throat* Dear Ms. Cyndir...Well at least the spelled my name right. You are ask to be present in front of our royal Majesty. Failure to do so, will lead to immediate execution?"

[She looks at you]

"Do people really blow off the Majesty that much? That they have to send a threat like that?"

[You nod]

"*Gulp* I-if you cannot attend this public appearance, the penalty will be swift and fierce..."

[She looks at you with a pale face]

"Whelp...guess I won't be sleeping tonight."

[You comfort her saying all she has to do is be present]

"But what if it's about some mishap? Or what if they accused me of something that I didn't do? Or what if-"

[You kiss her and assure her it will all be alright]

"I'm...I'm sorry for always making you worry. I just...you know, if something happens, what then?"

[You hug her and rub her back gently]

"*Sigh* Your right, it's nothing bad. I still want you to stay with me though. I just don't think I could sleep after that."

[You rest next to her cuddling her and kissing her]

"Mmm~, Thank you boss."

[Pause]

"Hey, boss?"

[you ask what?]

"I love you."

[She giggles a little]

"Your the best boss a dragon girl could ask for."

[She kisses you]

"Goodnight~"

[She breaths calmly nodding off to sleep as it fades to black]
