[Scene opens up at the wedding]

"Ugh. What's taking them so long? There usually on time."

[SFX: Door opening slowly]

"Psst. Over here."

[You see her and sit next to her]

"What took you so long?"

[You mention that you got lost]

"Got lost? Were my directions really that hard to follow?"

[You nod]

"Ugh. Fine. it's a good thing that you made it in time. I could only imagine what my sister would of thought if I showed up without a date."

[SFX: Fist clenching]

"Her smug look would be too much for me."

[You ask if she's ok?]

"I'm fine. Just peachy."

[You hold her hand to calm her down]

"Uh...what was that for?"

[You mention that she should stay calm.]

"I am calm. *Under her breath* although I don't hate it. You holding my hand like this."

[You apologize]

"No, no. That's fine, it's just...I know that this was very last minute of me to ask of you. I do appreciate you filling in for my date is all."

[You say it's fine]

"Anyways, you seem to clean up nicely."

[You thank her and return the comment]

"Thanks. This was kind of a last minute decision on the dress. I do appreciate your advice on the color though."

[You say it's fine]

"So, I bet your surprised my sister marrying a human."

[You shake your head]

"Yeah, I guess your right. There are more interspecies marriages now a days. Something like this is probably just another day."

[Pause]

"I know that it seems like I don't get along with my sister. It's just...there are times where she just infuriates me. With once again, wouldn't be bad if we lived in an old culture. In our modern society though. It's considered a massive faux pas."

[you ask why]

"Why? Why? Could you just imagine to massive Oni's facing each other, destroying everything in their way."

[Pause]

"Exactly, now a days our tongues cut harder than any daggers."

[You raise an eyebrow]

"I mean our intellect and debates. God, get your head out of the gutter."

[Pause]

"Anyways, at least it went off without a hitch. No bridezilla moments, no issues with catering. Nothing"

[You ask about the catering]

"Well, I heard that catering always has issues with big events like this. Thankfully, I know a guy. Best part for him, free publicity."

[You ask why didn't she ask him out]

"Why I didn't ask him? Well for starters, he married."

[Pause]

"Yeah, even as a friend it would be awkward for his wife. I don't want to put any tension between those two."

[You couldn't argue with her]

"So enjoying the wedding so far?"

[You shrug]

"Yeah, it does get kind of boring. I'll admit, at least it's almost over. Just waiting for them to exchange the kiss."

[She moans]

"This part really gets me. Don't get me wrong, if done right it can be something amazing. The problem is my sister is an infamous bad kisser."

[The kiss is about to come up]

"Don't believe me? Watch."

[She kisses badly]

[SFX: Disgusted audience]

"See? Told you. She can't kiss properly to save her life."

[Pause]

"Uh-oh. Looks like their coming this way. Just act natural."

[She walks by without even noticing]

"*Phew* That was a close one. I could only imagine how she would act if she-"

[She comes back]

"Spoke to soon."

[She walks up to her]

"Oh, hey sis. Congratulations on the wedding."

[She thanks her]

"I hope you have fun at the after party."

[she ask why she isn't coming]

"Well...You know. Work and all, can't leave it all for the last minute...again."

[She says that she was hoping that she would come]

"I really can't. Unlike some Oni's I have other responsibilities that need my attention."

[She let's that one slide]

"Anyways; Have fun you two~"

[she thanks her and walks always]

"Ugh. The less I can see of her now, the better."

[She looks over to you]

"So, I wanted to apologize for you seeing that. I just know if I was alone she be all like; "Oh, is the old maid alone again? What a pity." and go on with that annoying laugh."

[Pause]

"It's just, I feel like she only cares about settling down. Power to her and all. She knows what she wants, but to impose on the rest of us; who want to find some stability first. That's what irritates me."

[She lowers her head and looks to you]

"Anyways, I do owe you one. Whatever you need. Just name it."

[Pause]

"I'm not joking, I really do mean it. Just name it buddy, I'll do it."

[You ask if it's a promise]

"Yeah, Promise. An Oni never goes back on her word."

[You ask for a second date.]

"I'm sorry, for a second there it sounded like you wanted a second date."

[You nod]

"Oh...oh. Your are serious."

[Pause]

"So you want me..."

[Pause]

"To go on..."

[Pause]

"A second date..."

[Pause]

"With you. Am I correct in hearing that?"

[You nod again]

"If you don't mind me asking, but why?"

[You explain the reason]

"In case my sister doesn't believe were an actual couple? huh. That's...actually a pretty good idea."

[She thinks for a moment]

"There has to be another reason though."

[You say you'll explain it at the date]

"You'll explain it at the date? I...I guess I see no harm in it."

[She thinks for a moment]

"All right, I'll do it. I'll go on a second date with you."

[You shake on it]

[SFX: hands slapping]

"Anyways, what place were you thinking of?"

[You say it will be a surprise.]

"A surprise huh? Why do I have my doubts?"

[You say to trust her]

"Okay okay. Just don't waste my trust. Ok?"

[you nod]

"Good, so...I'll let you set up the date and time?"

[You nod again]

"Okay. See you then."

[She walks out but returns]

"Oh, almost forgot. I know you didn't want to go to the reception party. Don't worry, I'm not the type to bring up past events."

[She whispers in your ear]

"I won't talk about the sea bass incident...*Giggles* I'm just messing with you. Thanks again for covering for me and I'll see you around."

[She walks out again as you follow shortly behind as it fades to black]
