Dante: “YOU FOUGHT FOR GUILD BLUE PHOENIX AND THEY WERE STILL NEARLY DESTROYED! AND YOU WANT TO CREATE MORE OF THOSE THINGS?!”

Edward: “Of course I was at that Guild… I needed the sample size.”

[pause]

Dante: “... You needed… what?”

Edward: “I needed to know how much damage a horde of them could cause. I gave the info to Guild Black Crow… and they decided that if this operation went wrong, we could handle the necessary sacrifices.”

Dante: "NECESSARY SACRIFICES?! HAS GUILD BLACK CROW LOST THEIR MINDS?! YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE, NOT RISK IT ALL FOR THIS INSANE PLAN!”

Dante: “I don’t care if you’re the man who raised me, I won’t let you sacrifice that many innocent lives!”

[Dante draws his blade]

Dante: “Even if that means teaming up with a vampire to do it…!”

Edward: “... You’ve grown soft, Dante.”

Dante: “... What…?”

[gun clicks]

Edward: “... Perhaps you need a reminder as to just how dangerous vampires can be.”

Dante: “... That– that bullet you loaded into that gun–!”

Dante: “The virus–!”

Edward: “... Let’s see if she’ll still be so cordial to you after this.”
