So a pretty straight forward question, but one with a few different layers.
When you are looking for a script to fill, most of them have an RP like feel to them, where you talk to the listener and engage with the listener/audience. Do you however look for audios that have SFX like triggers like "Hair brushing", "lotion sounds", "ear cleaning" and stuff like that? Do you enjoy adding the "ASMR" to the "ASMR RP" as opposed to just being soft spoken or doing things like ear blowing that don't take any "additional" time to do or edit in and what not?
Are you more of an audio purist where its just your voice, no triggers other than normal SFX? Are you somewhere in between where "if I feel like a trigger is a decent include, I'll add it".
I have found more times than not scripts are more "RP" than "ASMR"/"ASMR RP" where they mingle in the middle between triggers and actual RP like dialogue. Something like the ear blowing, ear cleaning or something and then some RP like dialogue before during and after. There's absolutely nothing wrong with liking one over the other, I'm just curious is all.
Thanks for taking the time to read and potentially respond. Can't wait to hear what people in the community think!
