[You say you don't want to bother her]

"Bother? Me? When have you ever been a bother?"

[SFX: Chair moving]

"So come on. Pull up a seat and let's talk about it."

[Pause]

"Don't give me that look. I know you too well. You would just mope around until dinner, and then just let everything out. Not this time though. This time, I want to know what happened before we sit down to eat."

[You sit down]

"There now, was that so hard?"

[Pause]

"*Giggle* You know, I don't mind you being all stoic and all. but not when It means that your trying to hide something from me. Especially if it hurts you."

[She leans in and whispers]

"Just tell your GF all that happened. I'll make it better for you."

[She kisses you on the forehead]

"Now come on. Spill the beans. What happened?"

[You mention that it was a really rough day at work]

"Rough day at work? Don't tell me, did your boss yell at you again?"

[You shake your head]

"No? Well, that's a first. Okay so your boss didn't yell at you, but something did happen. So, out with it.”

"I know I might come across as a brutes sometimes, but I do care about you. So, you can tell me anything. So tell me; what was bothering you."

[You explain to her what happened]

"I...I see. Issues with other employee's. Man, sometimes I feel like the only issue with jobs are fellow workers."

[She sits up]

"So, how bad was it?"

[You continue explaining the situation]

"That bad huh?"

[You nod]

"Well, you can look on the bright side; it’s all over now. Your here, with your girlfriend. Who is willing to listen to your sorrows?"

[She gets closer]

"So, what can I do to help you out today?"

[Pause]

"Seriously, anything is on the table. Maybe some pizza, some corny movies. Maybe even some snuggling~?"

[She bursts out laughing]

"Sorry, I just can't keep up that routine of being a seductive girlfriend. It's just not me."

[Pause]

"Anyways, what would you like to do?"

[You ask for all of the above]

"All of the above? My~, aren't we adventures today. Usually you go for one of my suggestions. Never all of them. Ok, I can do that."

[SFX: Phone tapping]

"What place were you thinking of ordering out?"

[You suggest a location]

"Oh, that is a good one. Great thinking. It's been a while since we tried that location. So, just give me a minute."

[SFX: Phone tapping]

"And just like that,...Send."

[Pause]

"Don't worry I didn't ask for any weird toppings. Just a plain cheese."

[Pause]

"While we wait, any movie ideas you might have?"

[Pause]

"We could go for a comedy. After all, laughter is the best medicine. If your feeling up for it we could watch some cheesy Hallmark Romantic Comedies."

[You mention she just wants to riff them]

"True, riffing on cheesy Romantic Comedies is kind of my thing. I can't help that I was raised by Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot when it came to watching movies."

[She leans in and whispers]

"There is something also about making fun of Hallmark Rom-Coms that just makes it ever so much more fun. Don't you think?"

"I tried calling all of my friends to come and pick me up. Only one responded, and that was you~"

[You mention the sports bar]

"Oh, right. Well, everyone was busy with life and all that. None of them could take my drunk-*Clears throat* Rear end back home. When I called you though, you were there in less than thirty minutes."

[She smirks and laughs a little]

"The speed that you came for me, I thought I ordered a Domino's Pizza...in the 90's."

[Pause]

"Anyways, Come. Let's see if there's any good films streaming now."

[You two sit down on the couch and you rest your head on her shoulder]

"Don't let any of what those other employee's say about you get to you. Your a great guy."

"Frankly, I think there just jealous. That someone as sweet as you can come home to someone who cares about them."

[SFX: Kissing]

"I do mean that though. You shouldn't let that bother you. Just continue snuggling next to me as we watch some corny movies."

[You say really?]

"*Chuckles* Come on, I know you love it when I riff this. Besides, I know how much you love this."

[She kisses you again]

"Just remember, tomorrow is another day. You'll look back at all of this and laugh. Trust me."

[SFX: Movie playing in the background]

"So, ready to marathon some movies?"

[She wraps her arms around you holding you tightly as it fades to black]
