“... And covered with blood, too.”

[wings flap]

“Could it be? You figured out the ritual needed for humans to enter the demon realm?”

“Hmm…”

[he walks around you, observing you]

“Soaked in blood… a ritual knife made of bloodstone and ruby… is that the banned Demonic Verses book? And… ooooh…”

[footsteps stop]

[he leans in close]

“That look in your eyes… the eyes of a murderer that killed many for the sake of a singular goal…”

“Ha… hahaha…”

“HAHAHAHAHAHA!”

“Oh YES! Finally, some entertainment! It’s been centuries since a human last set foot in my realm!”

“I was getting so bored… Now this is fascinating.”

“The amount of sacrifices required… the three-day process… I’m impressed, human! Only the truly dedicated have managed to enter into my realm!”

[long pause]

“Ah, yes… What to do with you?”

“Normally, those who want the help of a demon use a summoning circle instead… granted, summoning me in particular would require an enormous amount of sacrifices, not to mention the chance that I would decide that it wasn’t worth my time…”

“... You… you were a resident of the former Kingdom of Vox…?”

“My my… that makes things interesting.”

“I razed the Kingdom of Vox to the ground a century ago at the request of the one who summoned me…”

“Yes, the disgraced high mage of Vox… you remind me of them, you know.”

[he grabs your face]

“... Hmm, humans usually struggle when I grab their face like this.”

[he lets you go]

“So… what’s your agenda, human? Why go so far as to find me specifically?”

[pause]

[pause]

“... You. Want me to kidnap you.”

[long pause]

“... I’ve seen humans request many things, but this is a first.”

“Why on earth would you want me to kidnap you?”

“Desperate to escape persecution? Yearning for death with a greater purpose? … Or perhaps a little twisted in the head?”

“Very well. This had better be good… or I’ll kill you where you stand.”

“Now… what about your eyes is so important that I had to look…”

[soft magic tone]

“... Twice…?”

“... Your eyes… they’re…”

“No…! You… how…?!”

“I can’t… look away…”

“That spell… how did you… find it? Centuries… I… I destroyed all traces… of it! C-Centuries ago…!”

“Complete Hypnosis… you…!”

[he groans]

“Ha… You think… you think you can hypnotize me…?!”

“I’m… I’m Arthreth the… the arch-demon…!”

“The mere thought that… a pathetic human could… could bring me under a spell like this…!”

[the hypnosis gets stronger]

[he falls to his knees]

“... I suppose now is as good a time as any to do it.”

“Why, make you immortal, of course!”

“A mere human like you won’t live as long as me… and I’m not letting anything take you away from me. Not even death.”

“Come now, my dear. I will make you immortal… and then, we shall be together for all of eternity!”

[pause]

“Hahaha! I’m happy to see you so enthusiastic!”

“... To think that I would have fallen in love with a human like you…”

[he laughs]

“It must have been fate.”

“If not fate, a miracle.”

“Bask in my love, darling. For no being in the universe has ever felt my touch like this before.”
