[Scene opens up in your living room in the middle of the night]

"All right Cottontail, this is the next house. In and out, just like you usually do."

[SFX: Switch turning on]

"Oh darn. Someone is up, there suppose to be all asleep."

[SFX: Footsteps]

"Come on bub. Get what you need and get out of here."

[She hears the person crying]

"Wait, are they crying? What gives? Don't they know that tomorrow is Easter? You know, free candy and all?"

[She see's the person in a ball]

"Man, it must be something really big. Haven't seen someone cry like this in a while."

[She looks over again]

"Yikes. fetal position and all. They must be really broken up over something."

[SFX: Foot tapping]

"Ok, come on. Think, think think. What is a good way to get them out of here peacefully?"

[She looks over again and see's you still crying]

"Although, they do look really rough right now...No, I can't. A perfect record over this? I can't...I Won't...They do look like there broken up over something."

[Pause]

"*Sigh* Goodbye perfect record.'

[She slowly walks over to you]

"Um...Excuse me?"

[Your startled by the sight of a bunny girl in your living room but don't scream]

"I'm sorry, Please don't scream. I just notice you were crying there. Is there something you want to talk about?"

[You try to act tough and say you weren't crying]

"Well, clearly you were. I can still see the stains the tears have made on your face."

[SFX: Rubbing face]

"No, you don't need to be brave on my account. Did you want to talk about it?"

[You ask who she is?]

"Who am I? Who am I? Can't you tell? I'm the Easter Bunny."

[You crack a little laugh]

"Hey, I'm serious. You know; Peter Cottontail, Long ears, cute Bunny tail...Any of these ringing a bell?"

[You still doubt her]

"Still having some doubt eh? Okay, listen; I don't really have much time. Even if I can prove it to you, I will probably waste too much time. I got to deliver candy all over. So, let's start from the top. What's bothering you?"

[Pause]

"Still don't want to talk about huh? Is it ok if I sit next to you?"

[You nod]

"Thanks."

[Pause]

"So, could I possibly take a guess at what's wrong?"

[You nod]

"Okay. Let's see, a kid; upset right before Easter-"

[You say your not a kid]

"No offense, everyone's a kid compared to me. Don't take it too personally. So, as I was saying your upset right before Easter."

[SFX: Scratching chin]

"Let...me...see..."

[SFX: Finger snap]

"I got it. *Smug* Your upset for an Easter egg hunt, right?"

[You ask how she knew?]

"Chances are, that's many kids reasons for not liking Easter. Either they can't find all the candy *Under her breath* Or any candy for that matter *back to normal* or they don't find the candy until it's too late."

[You ask what does she mean?]

"What do I mean? Well, ever found Easter candy in the fall? Not fun!"

[You agree with her]

"So tell me. Are you upset for not getting any candy in the Easter Egg hunt?"

[You shake your head]

"No?! Well now, I thought I hit the nail on the head with that one. But it does have to do with the egg hunt right?"

[You nod]

"Ok kid, might as well spill it."

[You say you don't want to do an egg hunt]

"I think I misheard you for a second, did you say you do not want to do an Egg hunt?"

[You nod]

"Okay, so these old ears aren't failing me yet. Any reason why?"

[You just say you be happy in just a little chocolate]

"Just happy with a little chocolate, does your family know that?"

[You nod]

"And they still want you to go with this egg hunt?"

[You nod, crying slightly]

"Ah, come on kid. No need to do the water works again. I tell you what, I'll leave you some Chocolate here for you."

[SFX: Chocolate moving across fabric]

"Will this make you feel better?"

[You shrug]

"Ok, I can see I need the big guns here."

[She opens her arms]

"Come here."

[You look in confusion]

"What's with that look? It's not everyday a bunny girl; let alone the Easter Bunny herself offering to give you a hug, so bring it in."

[You rest her head on your shoulder as she gently rubs your back]

"There, there. Just let it all out kid. That way, you can be brave in the morning."

[She hushes you to calm you down]

"Your ok, just let it out now. That way, no one will see."

[You thank her for comforting you]

"Oh, no need to thank me. It was my pleasure."

[She gently kisses you on the forehead]

"Now be a good kid and go back to bed."

[You nod and do so]

"Oh, and by the way. It's ok if you don't like the whole Egg hunting thing. Although your the first to genuinely not like it just cause. Just enjoy the rest of the day. Goodnight~"

[You walk upstairs as it fades to black]
